THANK YOU. That “digestive enzyme” stuff is SO WORRYING and encourages disordered eating. Liquidating food once it is already in the stomach does not change any of the macro or micronutrient makeup of that food. Those carbs, sugar, salt, etc. are still there and will still be processed. Also, the concept of “bad food” and “bad food days” encourages disordered eating, it takes power away from the individual and gives it to inanimate objects. Don’t let anyone ever make you feel bad for eating edible cookie dough. It’s delicious and your body is built to handle it

It is possible for her to get one jointly with her significant other even if she makes 6 figures, as long as they filed taxes jointly last year. Not saying she wasn't lying, but this isn't a correct claim.
Another way this could happen is if she made less in 2019 than 2020. Not-mlm, but in tech since I started late 2019 I still got the stimulus check even though my 2020 income was above the limit. My dad thinks I'll likely have to pay it back in taxes though. Its likely she lied, but the her claim is feasible.

I mean probiotics and prebiotics are in foods. And digestive enzymes are over the counter. My daughter has gluten intolerance and if she has trace amounts but takes a digestive enzyme it helps with the symptoms. But to say people need it consistently is unnecessary.

Chewing, yes; saliva, yes; stomach acid, no. Stomach acid is not for digestion, it's for killing bacteria. Enzymes are for digestion. They are plentiful in saliva and in the small intestine.
The reason stomach acid does not help in digestion is because it's hydrochloric acid, which is inorganic. Inorganic acids are better at dissolving inorganic materials (like metal) than organic. Though HCl will burn your skin, it won't digest it.

Actually not to be a smart ass here, but your stomach does actually digest pretty vigorously. Chemically and physically. Plus, you actually burn calories while digesting. Even if somebody uses these enzyme packets, their body is still going to take in the nutrients and calories. So if somebody is wanting it for weight loss, they’d really be better off to let their body break it down naturally and burn calories in the process. If somebody is wanting them because they are having genuine digestion issues....they should go to a Dr 🤣

I love how "now makes 2k a month" is a standout story (cause it is for an MLM, I get it), but that's... A 24k a year job. Not impressive or comfortable at all unless you live in an extremely low cost of living area.

I can't figure out why these people who join the mlm's don't see the math does not add up!! I have ex friends who joined Amway, Arbonne, Stella & Dot, BB, Isogenix, etc.and NONE of them are making enough money to live. Not even considered low income!! They all have altered their lives to live. Couple are married and hubby makes enough, a few moved in with the parents and get free babysitting, food, utilities until they get on their feet or become a Gazilmillonbillonare from their "own business" etc. Some of them just lie their asses of about how they are doing.
My point is this is 2021 for God's sake! They have made movies making fun of these schemes!! My career has never been accused of scamming people!! How do they not see the scam? All of their friends tried to tell them, and walked away from the friendship! All of us aren't wrong!! I go from anger to sadness then shock it is still happening.

Hi, someone with an eating disorder here to add a helpful tip: “digestive supplements” that give you diarrhea have a laxative in them and laxative abuse can cause one or two things: you will either lose the ability to tell when you have to go to the bathroom, and will need to start wearing adult diapers AND/OR you will not be able to use the bathroom without them because your body will become dependent on them. This is very dangerous, please be safe guys.
Seconding this. I have a friend who abused laxatives throughout high school (over a decade ago) and now, as a result of her laxative abuse, she only goes #2 once or twice a week. Laxative abuse seriously damages your body in lasting ways.
Can confirm as someone who has struggled with bulimia, that I can only go twice a week now.
Long term laxative and diuretic abuse played a part in my grandmother’s death. My husband is sick of me always warning people, but so many people think it’s safe.
Yes! Just like with any OTC medicine, you should never use it daily for extended periods of time without doctor's reccomendation and direction. Like I was told by my doc to take Miralax daily for a few months when I was younger because I was having some serious issues and was severely constipated so we had to clear that out so we could figure out what was causing it (food allergy). If you have an occasional bout of constipation/digestive issues thats causing you pain, its ok for use for a few days. The problem is that a lot of people assume that OTC meds mean there's no risk so you can use it as often as you want without going to the doctor. It makes me sad that people struggling with weight loss/eating disorders are getting tricked into thinking that it's a safe way to lose weight fast just because it isnt a prescription.
as someone who's part of the brain that controls bathroom alerts doesn't work, laxatives are dangerous. since i was born i had pooping issues, where i wasn't alert to the fact that i had to go, so as a baby/toddler trained myself to hold it. i'm now 16, and struggle with going normally. i've ended up in the hospital, would go three weeks to 2 months. i've used countless different laxatives over the years and nothing works but one probiotic now. Miralax and more have stopped work and i ended up not being able to go. It would be like i never took the laxatives. do not take laxatives unless you need them and directed by a doctor. please. my brother accidentally took one of my doses of laxatives (which was quite large at the time) and we had to take him to hospital because he was severely dehydrated and his rectum was damaged bad. that same amount did nothing to me. be careful, don't fall for scams.

I think the thing that makes me the sickest was this: I was new to recovery for a drinking issue. I asked a woman with 20 years sober to be my sponsor (that’s someone to show me how to stay clean & sober, live an honest life and be accountable. Like a mentor) 6 months into our relationship, she strongly urged me to become financially stable as I had not been and was getting desperate. So she explained she could share how she did it and yea, she recruited me. Now i should’ve known but people can be really naive, and I finally trusted someone to guide me in everything. It’s what a sponsor does for aa sponsee.
Thank God I didn’t relapse but I know for some people especially us new to recovery and trust, it would and could have devastated them enough to drink. She trolled meetings (and later churches) specifically targeting new, vulnerable people. That was a sad, sad awakening during a tough time in my life.

I lost a friend over Arbonne. They were always bugging me about their products and trying to exploit me but the final straw was when she was so desperate for a down line that she signed up my abuser. My abuser of course was just using her to get back at me, but the fact that she chose a quick sign up with someone who ended up making her a few dollars at most over a 4 year friendship speaks volumes. I was even civil about it. I told her she could do what she wants I just didn’t want to see/hear about my own abuser but she couldn’t even do that for me. They’re all so brainwashed and desperate and a few years down the line they’re going to wonder where all their genuine friends are. God forbid something awful happens to them and they need people to be genuinely supportive, the only people they’ll have around them are people who say “I know your mum is dying but you can be working from the hospital”. I pity them.
