A girl I know started a life coach business and she was one of the biggest hot messes ever. "Life Coach" and "Intuitive Eating Counselor," etc. are buzzphrases for "uneducated, unskilled, unqualified idiot trying to take your money because they have no idea how to earn their own."
After I quit Beachbody coaching (I made it to emerald once lol), I started my masters program, got engaged, joined Kickboxing which now I love, left my crappy FT job and found an even better one at my dream job! Great things happen when you leave that cult.
The fact that the "warm-up" leader participant quit the MLM life, reached out to you, and has turned their life around blew me away. Their story was my favorite part of the video and I'm definitely going to check out their business.
I am concerned the shift these ladies are making to life coaching because the approach they have or had as beach body coaches was so manipulative, commanding, demeaning, and lacked the compassion and empathy that help create safety for people. Also life coaches have ZERO accountability to alicensing board so there is NO oversight and ethical standards they are required to adhere to. Very concerned!!!
I'll be forever grateful to Kiki for being the "mother" of the Anti MLM TH-cam revolultion, without whom we'd probably not have as many of the wonderful creators we have today. PS- I love that house of hers so damn hard.
It’s one thing to leave an MLM, but it’s another to make it public that you left because it was changing who you are at your core. Huge respect for those ladies that took the extra step of warning others. Kiki, this video was amazing!
Agreed! So happy to see those women step up and be HONEST because it helps so many others! I will always respect someone who can admit their mistakes and try and warn others about making the same ones.
I think it’s SO IMPORTANT for the women who leave to speak out, especially if they had a lot of people working under them. They need to free the people they roped into it
I am actually, sincerely DELIGHTED that the “my boyfriend’s dog is dying” hunmonster is no longer bringing misery to that poor man’s life. Dude, congratulations and wishing you the best, from one dog lover to another. ETA: So getting high is called getting “elevated” now? LOL

I love that I remember all these people. The delusion, the patronizing, the cynicism, all the greed and gaslighting. Incredible the journey we have been on with them.
The queen has returned 🤍 I love that you did this video. I have this series starting next week on my channel. But like Tayfit cat napper going full blown crunchy breathing culty coach.... that was the plot twist I never would have seen coming.
I'm ECSTATIC that you're returning to anti-MLM content! You were my gateway to creators like CC Suarez, Hannah Alonzo, Deanna Mims and Isabella Lanter. All are amazing, and I want to thank you for introducing me to this type of content!
Wow, I don't know how this video came across my recommendations because I don't even watch content like this, but I'm really glad it did! What you are doing is SO IMPORTANT!! I know this might sound a bit dramatic, but MLM has literally destroyed my friendship with my best friend of over 20 years. She has been involved with several different MLM companies over the last 18 or so years, a few years into our friendship when she got into it, she relentlessly pushed me to get involved in them with her and I got burned bad, not just by the MLMs directly but also by her and her husband. After the third time I put my foot down and refused to get involved again but that didn't mean she respected my feelings and gave up trying, the harassment never stopped. And I will say, she is an otherwise wonderful person, huge heart, great friend, great mother etc, but that aspect of her life is so front and center and she will never take no for an answer. We are still vaguely in contact via social media, but other than the occasional hello online I avoid her. She has moved to another state and is now involved with a solar panel MLM. I feel like she's so deep in the MLM mentality that she will always be this way. No matter how many of them flop she will always be on to the next. Every two years or so a new one, seems to be her pattern. It breaks my heart. It's not just me either, other friends, even her own mom and sister have opened up to me how it has strained their relationships with her. Thank you for sharing this message, I hope more and more people open their eyes to how truly destructive MLM really is.
I think someone's attitude toward MLM reveals their true nature. You have to be highly self-absorbed/entitled to succeed in it. At the end of the day, you have to be ok placing yourself and your money above all else in your life, so while some successful MLMers might seem like decent people, there's an underlying narcissism that drives them. Doesn't mean they're evil; just means they care more about increasing their own wealth than they care about fostering healthy relationships. Sounds like you did the right thing.
Unfortunately your story is VERY common! If you look back in the comments of Kiki's channel or any other anti mlm, there are endless stories of lifelong friendships and even families destroyed through MLM's. Some even have specific videos dedicated to mlm horror stories. I am sorry that you are mourning the loss of your friendship, and I hope one day she will be able to get out. The cult mentality and the "us against the world" mantras have been known to change a person and destroy so many relationships, and all we can hope is in the end the ones we love will get out and hopefully be able to repair the relationships that were damaged along the way.
How you promoted Business in Front (might try to snag my man a shirt) and hyped up that former mlm rep that left. Shows everyone that you mean it when you say you’re going after the mlm, not the person! So happy for them to be out (in more than one sense of the word)!!
Just wanna say you were part of my healing back when Covid started, I was going through a really rough patch (I was in a religious cult wanting to leave for 10 years but not being equipped to understand why). You helped me in part by showing me what having a critical thinking approach looks like. From there on I kept seeing what I had grown up in and decided to leave and start over no matter the consequences. The anti-mlm content trend was a crucial part of my journey. Thank you.
I would 100% say that "life coaching" is a new mlm. I'm more angry about this new development then then selling useless products. Fucking about with people's life/ mental health is down right psychopathic.
This video just MADE MY WEEK. Because of your videos, I started following along with the same Huns you did and was aware of where they’re at now, so it’s coming full circle watching you give the updates!!!
I was so sure you were going to bring up my former upline coach. I was coach 2011 to 13, but she turned into a drill sergeant. "You're not working hard enough! You get in the way of yourself! If you quit You're quitting on yourself and your friends! Bla bla bla." She was really high up in Beachbody coaches and constantly got recognized at Summit. I think she made it up to #5. So she was her upline coachs golden child. I was so stunned last year to find out that she dropped out. Because she turned into a drill sergeant almost all of us quit, so she dropped off even the top 100. So her upline coach turned into a drill sergeant on her. But guess what she is, yup a life coach. And the thing that didn't change is she still post selfies nonstop with her words of wisdom. And oh my goodness does she still over share everything about herself.
Almost 20 years ago, I saw a girl say something about me on MySpace. Her comment was on my boyfriend's ex's wall, and it said something about how at least their group of friends has "self of steam." Yeah. Self of steam. I still pull that one out at parties sometimes. If you're gonna be rude and arrogant, please be smart.
That's in line when a girl I used to know graduated from college and stated publically on Facebook "That feeling when u have graduated college but people still think your an idiot. Wow".
Why was one of her arms white, while the other in was orange? BTW so glad u made it out and that not too much of your money went to founding her dreams! Stay strong and know that you've got this!!!!!
Omg that’s exactly what I said lol and also, when my cramps are KILLING me, I can assure you making a cutesy video is literally the last thing on my mind.. in fact I can’t recall a single time where that thought even crossed my mind at all when my uterus was doing a solid job of trying to assassinate me 🤣
I am soooo happy to hear that the lovely person with the shaved head, and glasses has left an MLM and become anti-MLM and have a proper business of their own… I felt the exact same way as you when I saw them for the first time, they were very charismatic and I really liked how they spoke so comfortably and endearing to others. It made me sad at the time to see them taken advantage of and wasted on that awful commercial cult. Thanks so much for letting us know, Kiki!
“I will always be scamming people cause that’s my brand” is basically how it is lol oh lord. Keep up with the anti mlm content Kiki you’re helping so many people
Wow the "Certified Life Coach" one is downright terrifying. Unless she has legitimate psychology certifications, she should NEVER advertise these kinds of services. Trying to "treat" people suffering with EDs and other mental disorders without the correct qualifications could have devastating effects :(((
I always thought you made the best ANTI-MLM commentary, so I would rewatch your old videos cause they were THAT good. SOOO glad you're back in the game!
So happy for Larry getting the hell out of that toxic situation! I kept hoping through the whole video that they would be updated and was holding my breath for them to be free of this. SO glad they are not only free but living their best life. 👏👏👏
I have an eating disorder that i’ve carried with me for over half my life and to see that woman offering her ‘services’ to help with eating disorder behaviour makes my blood boil. What education and qualifications does she have to be dealing with that?! The damage she could do depending on what she’s pushing. Binge eating can quickly turn to bulimia or anorexia if you’re not very careful and continue to cycle. All of which are just as dangerous. Oh. My. God. 😩😡
So happy that you’re back!! Also, seeing a trend with the life coach thing. I think it’s just a new, less overt angle for selling a recruiting. Btw, I was once an advocare distributor unfortunately (thankfully I never recruited and I didn’t do it for long) but there was a HUGE legal case and settlement. We got a check in the mail last month that said they paid millions and we’re labeled a pyramid scheme! So we got our distributor fee back ☺️ makes me so happy because those people were awful

This is the first MLM of yours that I’ve watched. My adult daughter told me about how you go after them. I’m so interested to learn about this. I’ve been aware of different schemes in the past, but I’m older now and I don’t want to be unaware and get scammed. I’m so glad that the sheriff is back in town 😊. Really cute entry.
You aren’t wrong about “The Henchman” having charisma. They are the only person I tracked down and periodically check in to see how they are doing. I’m glad they saw the light (in more ways than one), and that they seem to be happy.

I think the teacher’s wife was the one who would talk us through it every year. She must’ve been the hun😭
My fiancé laughed when I joined Avon. He tried to warn me but ya I got sucked in. I was a customer for like 12 years before I started selling. I didn’t last long bc the toxicity of it. The snobs I had in my upline was incredible.
I have never opened a video so fast before!! You are the most professional, OG ANTIMLM creator. I love to see our favorite “MLM characters” & how you present the scam / completely disgusting recruitment tactics. Thank you for keeping it classy always!! Love your channel!
Great video! Loved that it was long, and the intro was hilarious! So happy for the one person that was able to completely cut ties with the cult and escape the clutch it had on their happiness and life. Helplessness, hopelessness, and self loathing are symptoms of serious depression, and the fact that this MLM not only promoted & magnified these feelings within their mind, but reinforced them… is despicable. And it’s no surprise they felt afraid to come out. I’m glad they seem to now have a life filled with acceptance, support, appreciation for who they authentically are, and a whole lotta love, because everyone deserves that. P.S. being surrounded by those things is a much better and quicker path to being successful P.P.S. This applies to almost every type of job/work, but MLM‘s are DEFINITELY one of the things it doesn’t apply to… Because, once again, in reality, essentially no one can make a profit or even end up moderately “successful” (i.e. above the poverty line) by working in an MLM, no matter what. It’s math. However, it would be such a nice gesture or even the ethical thing (😂🤣) for MLMs to do… since they’re all trying to steal everything the people in them have (& everyone they know & they know…), then the least they could do is…to just not take their soul in the process, or leave them w/ insurmountable depression… but One can dream tho…)
I would look into the whole personal coach thing. A lot of con artists do that type of thing. They charge you so much money and make all these promises but do little to nothing that they promise.
This entire video is just a big ole smack of antimlm nostalgia! So many recurring huns that I'd totally forgotten about. Love that you did this kind of video, Kylie!
I’m not surprised “the hench(person)” got out. They said they got into Beachbody when they were like 19, a recovering addict. They were clearly in a vulnerable position. But they really did have amazing charisma. Even when they were saying ghoulish things to that poor young woman who was crying about disappointing her parents, they were making a connection through Zoom. Saying like, “hey momma, what’s wrong? What’s going on? Let me know. I’ll help you.” in this incredibly earnest voice. I’m glad they’re out being an actual small businessperson.

@@darkprince56 and that's why you should wait to comment before assuming. The internet got people jumping and not knowing whats going on. have a great day!!!! glad you corrected your error
I thought the same thing about them until I actually tried talking to them. I was extremely supportive and nice in a comment to them on IG after they'd just gotten out and were fighting back on BB's near-criminal behavior towards them (they allegedly discriminated against them for being NB when they changed their name to a "masculine" one, super messed up), but I didn't want them to think I was a weird stalker or anything so I was also treading lightly you know? And they were horrible to me in response, snapping at me that I obviously didn't actually care at all.... because I didn't follow their account when I commented. They were ONLY interested in gaining followers/numbers and if you didn't do that for them, you were useless. Pretty disappointing interaction because I found them to be....well, exactly how you describe. I hope they are doing better nowadays though and are less up in arms toward people -- I remember that I responded once more to them just saying that I hoped that it was leftover MLM cult behavior that made them react that way towards a well meaning stranger and that I wished them well. That's still true. I think their complex background was a great jumping off point for helping other people for real, not in an MLM sense of course. They have been through so much and could do so much for others.

"Life Coach" and "Intuitive Eating Counselor," etc. are buzzphrases for "uneducated, unskilled, unqualified idiot trying to take your money because they have no idea how to earn their own."
HOLY SHIT I SCREAMED. Hello ma'am. Welcome back. Your presence is greatly appreciated.
After I quit Beachbody coaching (I made it to emerald once lol), I started my masters program, got engaged, joined Kickboxing which now I love, left my crappy FT job and found an even better one at my dream job! Great things happen when you leave that cult.
Damn, you did it! You became the success they promised...just happened once you rebuked them fully.
That's amazing!!
So proud of you for leaving!! That shows how strong you are! ❤️
Well damn
We love a success story 🎉❤
That house right!! It's so beautiful 😍 she's done so well ...love love ❤️
@@elsie3724 Agreed 100%
I think it’s SO IMPORTANT for the women who leave to speak out, especially if they had a lot of people working under them. They need to free the people they roped into it
I am actually, sincerely DELIGHTED that the “my boyfriend’s dog is dying” hunmonster is no longer bringing misery to that poor man’s life. Dude, congratulations and wishing you the best, from one dog lover to another. ETA: So getting high is called getting “elevated” now? LOL
its been called getting elevated for decades. its a rasta term. of course it must have only started existing now that skenny rich white girls are saying it.
@@bbear2695 I (obviously) did not know that-Thank you for educating me. I responded to it because it is clever, but I definitely take your point that just because it was new to me doesn’t make it new.

She’s gotten a new personality every few months for over a year now, it really does cause whiplash!

I'm ECSTATIC that you're returning to anti-MLM content! You were my gateway to creators like CC Suarez, Hannah Alonzo, Deanna Mims and Isabella Lanter. All are amazing, and I want to thank you for introducing me to this type of content!
same! I’ve been enjoying CC’s & Isabella Lanter’s content sooo much lately!
Same!
Yes! These are some of my favorite creators and I probably wouldn't have discovered them otherwise.
Same here! And Not The Good Girl! 👍🏾
Don't forget Savannah Marie, Jessica Hickson, Savy Writes Books!
You're the reason I started watching anti-MLM videos. Welcome back and thank you!

Welcome back Kiki! You introduced me to anti-MLM content and I am so grateful!
Life coach and cricut are the new hunbot businesses.
Thank you.

So happy for you. I’ve been out of my cult for over 20 years. MLM’s line up so much with cults. Glad you’re free. ❤️
A lot of crossover between religion and mlm‘s. Congrats on escaping the cult. Probably a breath of fresh air!
You must have great skin from all the humidity generated by the steam.

P.S. being surrounded by those things is a much better and quicker path to being successful
