mk1 golf cabriolet roof rail repair

A little bit of welding along the upper outer rear quarter o\s and a bit around the rooftop rail/lip. The right side of the car was treated, prepped, sprayed, while the left side of the car was cut back,polished,and waxed.

How much would a repair like this cost? I just looked at one of these and everything was rust free except the roof rail/lip but it was probably twice as bad as your video? Trying to get a ball park to use in negotiation but can't find much online because a couple of videos. Great work BTW!
