    You done a great job on this review.
    I think I will go with the Power Air, because of the volume and being able to watch it cook through the glass door.

      You must have been lucky or I have been unlucky my oven lasted 6-months until the interior light stop working you cannot change the light as it is built into the appliance as it was only 6 months old it was changed the second one the light only works sometimes so I got my money back I have since brought the tower air fryer oven it's a lot cheaper and it's British with 3 year guarantee you can at least change the bulb with this model

      blondie jam wow! Truly a mess you had. No I’ve had mine a couple years now. It’s been great my only desire is to have one a little larger. As, I don’t have a functioning kitchen oven this was the answer for me at that time. Hope your new oven is perfect for you! Best wishes!

    I don't get people that use these to simply toast a bagel that takes about 30 seconds from start to finish in an actual toaster.. huge waste of time/effort/power..

    • @YourEverydayJoe
      @YourEverydayJoe  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You make a good point, I use it to first toast the bagel and then add some ham or frozen sausage patty and cheese. Makes a great bagel breakfast sandwich you can't really do that in a traditional toaster. Thanks for your comment.😎👍

    I think the chicken in the shelf air fryer was paler because it should have been moved to a higher shelf. At least you can do that to vary the browning but the Ninja is all on the same level so no choice with the basket cooker. Also the comment on smoking, at the end, should have meant the Power shelf air fryer had an extra point.

    Hi Joe,
    I just got a brand new Power Airfryer Pro 7in1 for about $90. Is this the same one you have? We are using our Phillips air fryer 4-5 times a week. Do think the Power Airfryer Pro's the frying, the dehydrating, and roasting features, can it stand up to the number of times that we use a week? Do you think is worth it to invest in the Power Airfryer Pro 7in1 now? Thanks.

    • @YourEverydayJoe
      @YourEverydayJoe  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Mindy, yes I still use the power air fryer oven about 3-4 days a week. Its now been almost 3 years since I purchased it and haven't experienced any of the issues that some other have with the unit. I also purchased the Ninja Foodi a year ago which I also use a couple of days a week. I have been very happy with both and will continue to used them for the foreseeable future. I have been testing other air fryers recently. Sorry for the long winded answer. Thanks for your comment and support. 😎👍

    Nice to know the only real differences are in the things the other cannot do. No pressure cooking in the Power Air Fryer but no rotisserie in the Ninja. Can the Ninja dehydrate?
    Also you can do larger quantities in the oven. I wonder whether Ninja might ought to consider a smaller trivet that can fit inside the diffuser basket to emulate the Power Air Fryer’s different heights? You probably still couldn’t do as much quantity since it would be very difficult to switch racks around.
    Nice that the Ninja diffuser is nonstick. Spraying the Power Air Fryer racks over the sink does mean a little more clean-up.
    I know the Ninja is the new tool but please don’t forget about those of us who have the old Air Fryer! It’s a bit of a work around to pressure cook something and then put it in the Air Fryer to crisp up but I’m guessing that’s what I’ll have to do as I’m not going to replace my Air Fryer Oven and my Power pressure cooker after just half a year. That I guess is another plus for the Ninja - only one appliance on the counter. Of course if you want the rotisserie then it’s back to a second appliance again.

    • @YourEverydayJoe
      @YourEverydayJoe  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Holly for the in-depth and we'll thought out comment. You make valid arguments. Now that I have both I'm torn as to which to keep and continue using. Well, I guess I will just need to hold onto both for the time being or until the next appliance I get needs the counter space. Thanks again for your comments and support we appreciate you. 🙏😀

    • @YourEverydayJoe
      @YourEverydayJoe  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      P A Newey thanks for the comment. As I stated in the video the power Air Fryer Oven has the volume to air fry for larger families. The Foodi can make slow cooker meals and one pot type meals that can feed a family of 4. If you need more volume, both versions offer larger units, the ones I have are the smaller 6 qt versions. In one of my early videos I was able to bake about 36 wings which should be enough for a small family (of course with the addition of some sides it could feed more.)

    hi..good video..the key with these all these cheap made products is not how well they work (all work well inititally) but how long they last :( ..most only last short time and many fail within few months...all of these items work well on tv or during reviews but almost none are performing the same or even performing at all 1-3yrs later...fyi mechanical push button versions are much more reliable than the failed short life touchpad technology.. the air fryer technology has been around for many decades...its called a convection oven...

      Very true. I even already have a rotisserie. My air fryer was a gift. I love it so much I traded in for bigger one. My rotisserie is packed up cause the air fryer does it all and takes up less counter space. It preheats faster and doesn't give off heat like an oven which is important in Florida. The cleaning is so much easier too. It dehydrates my herbs as well as onions, garlic and celery saving money on salts. I do still use my toaster but if it breaks... no need to buy another. 😎🌴

    IMO the air fryer won. I've used both trading one in for the air dryer. Pressure cookers are great but can be harmful so a much more expensive one should be purchased.
    Air fryer has a rotisserie, kabob skewers and rotating basket. It's door comes off easily for cleaning and safety. The Foodi door can fall shut burning hands. Steak, ribs, everything comes out delicious in my air fryer. I put mushrooms on the rack under steak catching juices. Foods can be placed on highest rack closest to heat for more crunch like a broiler. A little oil adds to crunchiness.
    You should never add any water or liquid.
    Air fryer bonus is the dehydrater which is great for herb gardens and no more wasted onions or garlic... money saver on onion, garlic and celery salts.
    Being able to see food cook with the light is important in cooking.
    Thank you for a good basic video. I hate to see someone spend money without comparing and knowing what they could have.

      Hello Maya, my personal preference would be the Ninja Foodi, because it allows for steaming, pressure cooking, searing, saute and air frying. If you only prefer air frying then the Power Air Fryer Oven would be fine due to its higher capacity to bake and air fry. Hope this helps. Good luck and let me know which you choose. Thanks 👍😎

    I don’t get why they call it a fryer. A fryer by nature requires oil I thought. These are convection ovens that’s all.

      Hey Vic Gill, that was a good catch. Although I gave a point to the Ninja Foodi due to the power air fryer oven auto starting, I should have corrected the score by 1 giving the Ninja Foodi a slight advantage over the PAFO. Thanks for pointing out the innacuracy. I appreciate your comment and support.😎👍

    I have nothing against your video but that air power fryer is garbage I bought one a few months ago and every time I go to use it it will not start. I have managed to get this machine to start exactly four times now it won't start at all and I feel like I wasted all of my money it is useless

      I have heard that some people have gotten some units with issues but it seem that these were purchased via QVC or HSN. Not sure if there are lesser quality models sold through those channels the unit I have was purchased direct from TriStar products and it has been working now for almost 3 years without any of these issues. Thanks for your comment and support.

    So you give an extra point for the ninja because the Power Air fryer started automatically? hmm that is ridiculous, also you give an extra point to the Ninja because its easier to put things in and you have to be in front of the power to do this. In what parallel universe would you not be standing in front of an oven? again ridiculous. Then there is the price you say they are both the same when in fact the Power air fryer is half the price of the Ninja.

    • @YourEverydayJoe
      @YourEverydayJoe  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chaz, as with any cooking appliance there are probably uneven cooking areas which create hot and cold spots. The Ninja Foodi is no different, that would explain some wings may have gotten overcooked. Thanks for the observation I appreciate the comment.

      Well then it's a good thing that I was the only one who ate it and didn't cause anyone else any indigestion. I'm sure we all have had issues when cooking that maybe the food came out sub par. I have gone to some 4&5 star restaurants and experienced sub par results.
