I have the ninja. Cooking for 1 person I find it great. Living in a small space the flip feature is invaluable. I must admit that it took a few tries to find the correct temp and time to cook my French fries to my liking. But I love it. Cooking chicken in it was not at all disappointed. Should mention I find it hard to clean.

I have the Brevil and I love every function! I rarely use my full size oven or microwave.

I have the KitchenAid. Today I tested the preheat time to 400 degrees with a fast digital thermometer, it was nowhere near 400 when the preheat ended. It hit 400 at around 7 minutes. Once it reached the set temperature it drifted up to +/- 20 degrees at times. The air fry has always been meh, but maybe the preheat temperature inaccuracy is the reason. The interior cooking space between the upper elements and the lowest rack position is just under 4" so you aren't going to fit a chicken in there. The beep tones are very low. The ergonomics are good, nice easy to read controls. Exterior gets hot but it's not too bad. You can only fit the included pan in there under the air fry basket if you flip the bottom rack upside-down. Interior light stays on while cooking. Not very noisy.

Four inches? What did you use to measure that? I'd say you're off by quite a bit here.

I'm pretty sure that's not the correct price. I was looking at this exact model (black stainless steel) on Breville's website yesterday, and it retails for $549.99 USD. The stainless color retails for $499.99 USD

At that price you can replace your entire oven with one that has a air fry option.

This top of the line Breville is the newest version of the Air Fryer Pro line. I own the next lower line the 900BSS which has the same dimensions. I did not need the phone app functionality. It has the best precision time and temperature accuracy. I have owned the Cuisinart and Oster and liked them fine for the price. My Breville cost $349 which I think in the long run will be more cost effective. The two other air fryers lasted 2-3 years before the controls broke…. Non replacement parts. The baskets for air frying on the Breville are much higher quality so they don’t discolor with use. I use heavy weight aluminum foil to line the drip tray, but will try the silicone mats next time.

The Ninja is their entry level and the Breville is their premium version. The Ninja sp301 should be compared to the Breville BOV860. This would be a fair comparison.

I have a massive 26L Instant Pot Omni Plus Air Fryer Toaster Oven, which I believe has been discontinued. It's great except it takes up SO much countertop space and I really can't get rid of the microwave since I use it to re-heat liquids. The one thing I learned about air fryer ovens is you have to learn how much you need to adjust temperatures and/or cook times from those given in recipes and on package instructions. Some websites say reduce either one by 25%, but I've found some things cook in half the expected time so I don't leave things unattended much.

Not a fair comparison with the pricey top of the line Breville Joule with app compatibility. They should have used the Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer. Also using only fries as a food comparison is not helpful.

Lisa sold me on the Joule with those wings!😍 The Joule is $100 off right now (499-100=399 for the bright-stainless version) and I used my Best Buy rewards points to reduce the sting even further.

Please can you find me the perfect coffee maker. There are so many I can’t seem to find the right one. Do I buy one that uses pods? Do I need one with a bean grinder? Does it make the perfect espresso? Can I make cold brew or iced coffee? Help! 😂 Thanks.

Are you kidding? 99% of these air fryer devices are tested with crappy chicken wings or whole roasted chicken. Not everybody worships chicken. Make a search and you'll find plenty of your real "food".

I'm going to try to buy one from the brand Ambiano which is for sale next week in Aldi and only costs 100€. It comes with 16 options. 2 options that I'm excited for is the popcorn one (it comes with a cylinder basket that spins) and the other option is rotisserie chicken. Compared to the ones that were shown here I think it is waaaaaay cheaper and somewhat better than the Breville that only has 13 options (of course being able to control the machine through your phone is awesome and if the Ambiano could do that too it would be the cherry on top of the cake). If I get my hands on the Ambiano I will leave here a review. Fingers crossed 🤞

I am looking for a new air fryer. I had the XL Cosori and have used it about a year and a half. I use it several times a week and it is rated highly but I feel like these reviews are for people who do not use them a lot each week. Where you put the basket into the machine the little top piece inside has quit working and the whole thing is dead. I will not buy another or recommend it. Can anyone recommend a good one that you use a lot .I would appreciate it.

I looked at all three, and purchased the 30 liter Cosori Air Fryer Oven instead. The ninja is cheaply made and too small, the breville is over priced and doesn't have a rotisserie, and the Kitchenaid (which I had and returned) didn't distribute food evenly using the convection, and burnt food easily. The Cosori, for me, is the better option, especially using the rotisserie. Happy cooking!

Good call. Just checked out that Cosori and it does look like a nice unit for only $200. Good reviews too. 1 cubic foot like the Breville Pro models. The Ninja is a dinky 0.55 cf.
