I still listen to this song to this very day. I was watching your facial expression as you were looking at the video I would look at the video and I would look at you. I think they are highly talented. Very unique. Have a great musical talent. Our poor dear Charles has passed away. I must agree you’re totally correct the video which I haven’t seen up until sometime within the past year. The video absolutely does not match the song, I love to listen to music, and I can distinguish where there’s mistakes in the song. They were perfect. There were absolutely no mistakes in this song. OMG!!! I was 13 when this song came out! It was one of those songs they played out on the radio station I listened to. LOL! That same year my favorite song by Tasmin Archer "Sleeping Satellite" came out. I heard that song for years and loved it, but had no clue who sang it until 10 years ago. I was shocked! One of my faves of all time. I had the pleasure of meeting the songwriter--Mick Leeson- a few years ago at a PRS convention. I embarrassingly asked him what songs he had written and when he said "Would I Lie to You--Charles and Eddie--do you know it?" I nearly fell to the floor! My take on the video is that although he is saying Would I lie To You? it is posing the question that with all these gorgeous girls around, do you really believe him? You see, you have to look beyond what is on the surface.
