I traded my 365 in on the Reflex. Took the Reflex to the range yesterday. Fired 3 different kinds of ammo plus hollow points. Shot everything beautifully. Very nice groups. No regrets at all. After one more trip to the range the Reflex will be my everyday carry. I think the finish is much better than the flat finish on the 365
I sold my 365 and just use the Reflex now for edc. What really impressed me is the machining on the Reflex. I did a complete disassembly on it and the precision of the machining and the clean finish amazed me. This is the first FN pistol I have owned and they have impressed the heck out of me.
@ Yes, though I have went back to DA/SA guns for carry. I just can’t feel safe with a gun cocked and no safety. The Reflex has a trigger so light it feels like the wind would set it off. While my H&K P30 SK is slightly bigger, I feel way more confident with it.

I tested the Reflex and find nothing with it but I've had the Sig P365 for over 3 years and have shot thousands of rounds through it without any problems. I love the sights on it which aids in my accuracy with it. I also love the thumb safety which is easy to flip off when getting ready to shoot, and I appendix carry IWB and feel more secure having the safety. I have large hands so I always use the 12 round magazine. It's the perfect gun for me.
I recently just purchased p365 lx. The reflex was my first CCW. Bought it last august (2024) However I had problems with the extractor. So I sent it in and fixed it. Love the gun. I have yet to shoot the p365 so I’m excited for that. Really just bought the p365 so I can have a rotation
Nice comparison. To each their own. Just recently tried both of these. My son likes the P365 more, but the Reflex was much better for me. Oddly, the Reflex leaves a little buzzing feeling on my trigger finger after shooting. Only the CSX was more comfortable for me. Just curious, why don't you carry the CSX in your rotation?
I tried the FN reflex at the range. I put a box Of ammo through it and to me the trigger is way too light for concealed carry. It barely has a wall. A couple of my shots went off prematurly with me trying to find the wall. Also the reset is very long. You pretty much have to get all the way off the trigger and that messed me up a couple times too. I just could not get used to that trigger. I love the grip and sights tho. I'll stick to my p365XL

Great little firearm but I do think FN should work on putting a little more effort into the quality of the finish!

Why not use the 12 round grip module and mags on the P365? Two extra rounds, my pinky is on the grip and no silly pinky extension. Seems like a win, win to me.

I own both of these guns and don’t even waste your money on the FN. my reflex has more issues than a sinner on pornhub. It won’t cycle almost all ammo and shoots low left and sometimes won’t lockout when empty. I went on the forums and apparently a lot of FN owners have these issues with this gun.
@@kevinchristie4847 Call Customer Service, I had FTF with multiple mags. Sent it back and within a week it was back in my hands. Second range trip it ate everything for the first 74 rounds and then the trigger failed to reset. I racked the slide multiple times but the hammer wouldn't fall. Called CS again and requested a full replacement under warranty. They agreed and 5 weeks later I had my replacement at my FFL. They threw in 3 free mags to cover the transfer fee. Took the replacement to the range and it was beautiful. No malfunctions and even performed in combat reloads with mag exchanges. This one is a tack driving sob. I can't speak for the iron sights. I just threw a Holosun 407K XR GR and sighted in at 15 yards
I've had the Sig P365X, the FN Reflex, and the Springfield Hellcat. For some reason, I just didn't like the Sig. Never had one problem with it, but just didn't like it. So I sold the Sig, and kept the FN and the Hellcat. I like the FN and the Hellcat equally well.
I've got the Reflex. I also have a p365, p365x, and p365xl. They all have Holosuns on them. They are all accurate and easy to shoot. While not quite a micro, I also have a FN 509 compact. It is my most accurate defensive pistol and is the easiest to shoot, so it is my favorite 9mm for carry.
The P365 size makes for a great pocket gun compared to other semis of comparable caliber and capacity. Mine’s been reliable thus far. Only a J frame S&W may be a better pocket pistol.
You’re lucky with the FN. I have learned to love it, but it had weeks of FTF issues. Seems like they drastically abated, but after sending it back to FN and having them insult my intelligence by saying there were no issues, when it immediately did on the range the next morning, made me wonder what kind of QA circus they have running. Still… I love it. As you mentioned, the Sig slide is a curse.
Maybe stock. 365 builds easily trump the reflex imho. I love hammer fired guns and was stoked about the reflex. Tried it at the range and wasn’t impressed 🤷🏻♂️. Love my modded 365x. Might move to the Masada slim w a mischief grip mod.
Love this! I have to say though, that my Reflex gets carried daily and used frequently. It doesn't look nearly as bad as yours. My Shield RmsC is in worse shape than the slide is.
Have you tried a wipe down treatment qith a sab of oil on a patch or cotton rag, followed by a silicon cloth? My P229 has over 50,000rnds theough it, and is an everyday carry with a lot of draws and dry dire as well. My FNX45 can look a little "sundued" as well after a week of carry. I wipe them down once a week, when I field strip to make sure there isn't any lint and sirt build up. They look brand new with a sheen and shine. Even the holster marks disappear.
The Reflex look like a great choice. I'll have to see if I can rent or borrow one to see if I like it. I'm quickly falling out of love with my P365 as the accuracy is not nearly as good as my Glock 27 and I've have a couple times where I experienced a dead trigger. If I rack the slide it ejects the loaded round (no dent in the primer) and it then works fine. I also don't care for the sites. I could replace them but the guns on it's way out anyhow so I'm not going to bother with it.
I’d like to see someone make an aftermarket recoil spring/guide rod. The metal tip clamped to the plastic rod has play to it and there is at least one case of it breaking.
And there's another video for you. Compare the Reflex to the S9CC. I bet its excellent as my other three Hk's are. I love Hk but they are arrogant and ignore their customer base. They do things their way and screw you. I was not waiting for their guns to become more available. I was going to do an X-Macro, but actually wanted something I could stuff in my pocket. I've been walking around with the Reflex in my pocket all day to test it. I won't actually pocket carry until I have a good wallet holster like my SA has. But it is a great deep concealment option which was what I wanted. This gun fits the bill, but you're right. The coating on the slide hasn't started wearing but the barrel is after 300 rounds. No bueno. But love it anyway.
the finish on my FDE nra 365 has the sane problem with the finish..... you look at it and it has a new smudge/wear...... the only problem ive had with it is the flush mag springs getting stuck in place with 4-5 rounds left in the mag and wont chamber the next round...... only the flush mags..... weird..... so its sat in the safe until recently...... been using the 12/15 round mag with no problem but still wont carry..... no problem with my reflex...... yet lol
I recently took my 365 xl to the range and that sob kept jamming with the 17 rd mags it completely made me lose trust in it. Has anybody els had problems with the mags? It seems like if it gets a little bit of lint or dust from carrying spare mag in your pocket it causes it to jam. I’ve never had these issues with my Glock mags.
I was going to ask if you had the slide refinished, because it does not even remotely look like a regular OEM finished P365 slide. It looks like Black Nitride like you'd see on many other guns and not the typical "Nitron" finish you see on SIGs. That was the first thing I noticed about it.
What makes the p365 far superior firearm is the fact it's a FCU chassis system. You buy the reflex you are stuck . You buy the p365 and don't like grip , grip length or capacity then change to xl or macro grips same thing with slide length barrel length comp no comp . Aluminum frame or polymer. Reflex is what it is . If there is anything negative you have to buy a different firearm completely. FN waited 6 years after p365 came out to put out a gun to complete with the p365x not the original so a fair comparison is in order with optic capability and capacity in the model it was designed to complete with. Like I said bc of the FCU design the original p365 is still a superior firearm
@@spnfirearms 12600rds and counting without a malfunction in my oldest 365. Over 5000 thru each of my other 3 . I don't have any reliability issues although the reflex out of the box couldn't hit the broad side of a barn . Enjoy shooting innocent bystanders bc your accuracy sucks you really should do research before making a purchase. Wasn't going to embarrass you but you chose to smart ass first. Try doing gun maintenance instead of filming your ignorance on a subject. You are right about one thing it's ONLY your opinion
The FN reflex is hammer fired single action only with no safety. That makes me nervous. That seems like carrying the 1911 cocked and unlocked. Is this concern warranted? Are there other safety mechanisms?
I've carried the 365 since it came out, the original model, and now i carry the X model. But I've been wanting the FN for a while now. I love FN. (Just gotta find a way to justify it to the wife) 😅
I hope fn comes out with 13 round mag. The 11 is bit short. The 15 bit long. I truly wish the stoeger mc9 had different sights it's 13 round mag is perfect length and the 11 with pinky not bad either. And as you know super accurate. If you know of any sights that fit it please let me know. 11 round pinky mags also back in stock.
The standard choice is a white dot front sight with a serrated low-glare rear sight, and for $80 more, Stoeger will upgrade that to tritium night sights on the front and rear.
I went with the reflex and mine has issues I have put 250 rds through it and had no stoppages. However, the ejection pattern of this pistol is super erratic and I’m getting hit directly in the face two or three times per magazine I’ve put a few different brands of 115 124 and 147 also a half box of the 150gr syntek rds and the same thing every time.Hae anyone else had this issue?
I own 15 or so FN hand guns. 3 of them have a safety. FNX-45T Five-seveN MK3 HiPower I prefer no safety and so do a lot of other people. I would be curious to see numbers on safety vs no safety consumers.
I shoot my 365 macro way better then my reflex but the macro has a lot more features than the original 365 so that may be helping me out a bit. I would say that the trigger is definitely better on the reflex, if sig could make an internal hammer p365 I might buy 2 or 3 especially if they would make a legion or other edition of it.
P365 Xmacro Comp guy here. I enjoy all of your videos/reviews. Like you mentioned at the beginning of your video, it’s just your opinion but to for you to use the word "much" is going a bit too far. I’ve never shot a Reflex but I know that the decision would be close to moderate for either. "Much" is just a little much."
Checked out an FN Reflex last month, but didn't have a chance to shoot it, though it felt great in my hand. I did not like p365 when I tried it, despite it's good feel.
Man, I wish the fn was out, or that the sig p365 nra edition was available readily in my area when I was shopping for one, I ended up going with the kimber mako r7, Witch is awesome, but I wish they had it in fde everywhere & I wish it was slightly smaller like the sig p365, But far as I know in double stack 9, the sig p365 is the smallest, then it is the kimber mako if I remember right, I think the fn is slightly longer, not by much tho, but it is definitely thicker, still it is amazing looking. I definitely want to get both the sig p365 nra, & the FN reflex in that fde color, one day when hopefully prices of everything start to come down a bit, it has been ridiculous keeping up with basic stuff, let alone getting stuff like this, but damn do I want them, May have to go without eating fot a few year's to afford them....lol
The FN Reflex shoots better for me but my two ranges have seen too many issues with their FN Reflex sales and rentals. But the FN feels better in my hand and I shoot it better than the 365.
If someone feels the grip is a little sharp on the hand you can go to a dollar store and purchase a fingernail sandpaper board and smooth it to your liking.
I have both and would have the reflex before the 365. I'll take the Canik Mete MC9 over both. Best trigger of the three not anywhere close to the take up distance or reset distance of the Reflex and bows the 365 trigger out of the water. Very similar size. Mine is a more recent production and have thousands of rounds on it with 0 issues. Pick it up for carry over both the reflex or 365. Just my opinion though. Thanks for the great videos.
I still see the P365 being more reliable and better quality in the future than the FN. The logic is that the more popular and better selling something is, then the more complaints and issues a gun manufacturer receives, then the better the engineering and quality will be because of all the so many feedbacks. FN guns IMO will never be as popular thus the quality and reliability will never meet that of SIG. Maybe for you SPN Firearm, it may not be now, but just wait years in the future.
He explained that he doesn't like the sights, ejection pattern, or the way the slide sticks. I also wouldn't carry a gun that I didn't like shooting. Maybe you weren't listening, and you only heard 5 seconds of the video.
@NK-po6ki it's always that one I actually watched the WHOLE video he had more pros than cons so it still wouldn't make any sense to me to not want to carry a gun you put 1500 rounds through and it never have you any issues , I would get deeper into it but im good, just don't assume nomore buddy
I thought I was going to buy the F/N because of the reviews which in hindsight almost seem scripted to some extent because all you guys across the board brought up the same issues the same way on the F/N Reflex and pointed out the trigger, the "Hammer" trigger being the game changer. How it beat the Sig for fire power and grip. . I tested the Reflex on the range and in my test which I wish I'd videoed I feel the trigger pull decreased and decreased more over time and one round of fifty failed to fire and had to be double tapped. This was toward the end of the box and when I was prepping to leave. I couldn't help but wonder is it because the hammer got weaker over the 50 some odd shots? And I didn't think the finish was all that nice on the one I shot but perhaps it's been shot so much as the test piece that is why. Anyway, this and the fact that right after some bad reviews all you guys verbatim go on a wave of how good the F/N is. I prefer the grip of the Sig better. I bought the Sig 365.I've never had a bad Sig. I did pay more than I could have gotten the F/N for at the same place and I do appreciate your videos especially having access to so many as you do. For what it's worth I got the peanut butter color in the SIG 365 and this came with a free 15 round mag only the mag extension is black. In the box were two magazines each a different length and a third in the gun itself. One mag holds 12 the other two 10 ea. Then add the free one which was a fifteen rounder and one can't complain. Atwoods farm supply.
P365 looks cooler. Better sights. Sleeker. But that mag release. Reflex is so much better outta the box. 15 rd mag. The sig’s gonna cost more money cause I want those grip modules. Losin mah mind
The p365 is a proven unreliable platform. My buddies macro was having major issues with his CARRY ammo. I’ll never carry one and won’t even consider it

Fn all the way. And I am a springfield guy all the way. Have most all their guns. But fn reflex is the best micro by far.
We need a tier list video, top 5 for 9mm & so on
Absolutely love my P365 X Macro non-comp with a MadTech Industries grip module.
Alright hang on. How is the 365 self cleaning? Genuinely never heard this before
Have you tried a wipe down treatment qith a sab of oil on a patch or cotton rag, followed by a silicon cloth?
My P229 has over 50,000rnds theough it, and is an everyday carry with a lot of draws and dry dire as well. My FNX45 can look a little "sundued" as well after a week of carry. I wipe them down once a week, when I field strip to make sure there isn't any lint and sirt build up. They look brand new with a sheen and shine. Even the holster marks disappear.
Felt an FX reflex today at the store, my sweet god, that feels as good if not better then my shield
I always enjoy your vid you give your honest oppion and thats enough for anybody excerpt the narrow minded .keep doing what your doing your good at it
Where can I find an Sig like that one? I like the grip texture yours has.
Very thorough review, I love the reflex
The Reflex look like a great choice. I'll have to see if I can rent or borrow one to see if I like it.
I'm quickly falling out of love with my P365 as the accuracy is not nearly as good as my Glock 27 and I've have a couple times where I experienced a dead trigger. If I rack the slide it ejects the loaded round (no dent in the primer) and it then works fine. I also don't care for the sites. I could replace them but the guns on it's way out anyhow so I'm not going to bother with it.
I just bought cr920x. Would love to see a SPN review. You need SS in your collection bro 11:28
Definitely need the safety on the sig, just like a 1911
I’d like to see someone make an aftermarket recoil spring/guide rod. The metal tip clamped to the plastic rod has play to it and there is at least one case of it breaking.
There are too many TH-cam videos with the reflex malfunctioning. I cannot trust that when I see the malfunction on video
Good luck fixing your fcu in a shtf situation fast.
Sig p365’s are just poorly made.
I’m not carrying unreliable handguns.
@@spnfirearmspoint is it can be fixed any of the same issue on the fn would be a catastrophic failure bc it cannot be removed to repair.
The FN reflex is hammer fired single action only with no safety. That makes me nervous. That seems like carrying the 1911 cocked and unlocked. Is this concern warranted? Are there other safety mechanisms?
I thought the standard 365 eas a little snappy for fast follow up shots. I will have to rent the FN at my range and try it out.
I really appreciate you comparing all these different models. Will the Reflex become your favorite EDC ?
you would love the 509c! the 12 round mag is great for deep concealment the 17rd mag for every day and the 24 for home defense!
How girthy/wide is that compared to the reflex?
@@PistolPeterson859 just slightly wider. reflexes under an inch 509 is just over an inch.
Is this Reflex made with the Stainless steel slide and S.S. hammer forged barrel like my FNS .40?
The Reflex is great, but holster availability is trash right now, making it challenging to find the right set up for conceal carry.
I've carried the 365 since it came out, the original model, and now i carry the X model. But I've been wanting the FN for a while now. I love FN. (Just gotta find a way to justify it to the wife) 😅
When are we gonna have more about the Stoeger mc9?
I hope fn comes out with 13 round mag. The 11 is bit short. The 15 bit long. I truly wish the stoeger mc9 had different sights it's 13 round mag is perfect length and the 11 with pinky not bad either. And as you know super accurate. If you know of any sights that fit it please let me know. 11 round pinky mags also back in stock.
The standard choice is a white dot front sight with a serrated low-glare rear sight, and for $80 more, Stoeger will upgrade that to tritium night sights on the front and rear.
Why won’t you carry a P365?
The back of the FN looks odd it’s like its missing something
On paper the FN Reflex is 18.4oz and the P365 is 17.8oz.
If you had to pick between the FN Reflex and the Stoeger STR9 MC, which would you choose?
I went with the reflex and mine has issues I have put 250 rds through it and had no stoppages. However, the ejection pattern of this pistol is super erratic and I’m getting hit directly in the face two or three times per magazine I’ve put a few different brands of 115 124 and 147 also a half box of the 150gr syntek rds and the same thing every time.Hae anyone else had this issue?
I typed this before watching the video that’s pretty funny you have the same issue with the 365
I don't know why some manufacturers don't give their customers the option of a manual safety, but it is certainly a "No buy" sign for me!
I own 15 or so FN hand guns.
3 of them have a safety.
FNX-45T
Five-seveN MK3
HiPower
I prefer no safety and so do a lot of other people.
I would be curious to see numbers on safety vs no safety consumers.
@@herrerajoey2 Would love too see these number, too!
I was just about to get the P365, now I’m reassessing.
Preach Brother! ❤
So, why either of these over a Glock 26.5?
You for real?
@@rudrashakti108 yeah man, the glock 26 is way better than the 365 and the FN looks like a knockoff 365.
@@volbrenYTg26 is SPNs all time favorite EDC, just watch more videos you'll see real quick
Checked out an FN Reflex last month, but didn't have a chance to shoot it, though it felt great in my hand. I did not like p365 when I tried it, despite it's good feel.
Man, I wish the fn was out, or that the sig p365 nra edition was available readily in my area when I was shopping for one, I ended up going with the kimber mako r7,
Witch is awesome, but I wish they had it in fde everywhere & I wish it was slightly smaller like the sig p365,
But far as I know in double stack 9, the sig p365 is the smallest, then it is the kimber mako if I remember right, I think the fn is slightly longer, not by much tho, but it is definitely thicker, still it is amazing looking.
I definitely want to get both the sig p365 nra, & the FN reflex in that fde color, one day when hopefully prices of everything start to come down a bit, it has been ridiculous keeping up with basic stuff, let alone getting stuff like this, but damn do I want them,
May have to go without eating fot a few year's to afford them....lol
Does the FN rust like the P365?
🥃🎱👽🍕😷 when I held the reflex in my hand, I felt like I was gonna break it, lol . But no doubt it's a fine firearm!
I disagree. I own them and the Sig shoots better. The Reflex trigger is better but after 500 rounds I am going to a red dot. I am old....
I’ll pass , keeping my 100% reliable accurate P365
Ok retard
You don't have any red dots on yo pistolas..how come??
Ya do when your eyesight begins to change due to age. 😁 That front sight isn’t as crisp for me anymore without reading glasses.
Get your hands on a cr920 and let ys know what you think.
That is how the 43x should have been laid out
Hey SPN - what thousands is your reflexes serial?
FN Reflex FTW, still my favorite micro 9
I agree I like the FN better than the 365.
did you ever get an xl?
I've got an xl with wilson combat grip and extended mag release. it fucks hard,
Which Sig you comparing with, the worst one? The 365 has about a dozen variants. Mine holds 17 rounds with a pic rail and optics plate.
There is no 'worst one'. Nothing said here has convinced me that the FN is better than my standard P365.
My 365 xMicro Holds 17 in the mag . I use the green dot with circle . Works for Me . and The grip on that Thing looks awful .
Sounds like a nice setup👍🏼
I'm sure the comments under this video will be very level headed and nuanced
Sig fan boys don’t do so well with others opinions 😂 so I don’t see that happening
So you shot the P365 with 1500 rounds through it with no issues and you just said " you won't carry them " smh b
@@fleeshawn11it doesn’t matter how many “pros” it has lmao, one negative is good enough to not trust it with your life, yall are so sensitive
@@GlocksAndWock you a Glock person sensitive should never come out your mouth or from your fingers
Fn reflex all the way that trigger smoothhhhhh 🫡💯
I had the reflex and hated it. I’m just not a fan of these skinny guns. So I just stick with my thic boy Glock 26 🤷🏻♂️
The p365 is so poorly made it’s not even funny. I have 4, 2 had catastrophic failures. My fn’s have been flawless, all of them.
and failure to fire is an ammo issue.
The FN is lighter then the p365 by .01 ounce! At least that’s what the internet says! 😂😂😂
I’ll never carry one and won’t even consider it
Put Talon Grips on the Reflex grips and the sharpness won’t bother you.
Gonna get the Reflex. In Black though, not a FDE fan.
Got mine in black. Ordered an extra 15 rd mag from FN. love it!
@@elsanto8879 Part of me says to wait for the issues to clear. It sounds like you had none. Would buy now if I knew that.
I’m gonna get the Sig, number 1 for a reason
love you but man i have to disagree, ive been hearing of ftf and even broken striker from the reflex after a few hundred rounds...
FN Reflex is not striker fired. Internal hammer. Safer than striker
Hard to break a striker in a hammer fired pistol
Hot take here, both are awesome pick them both up. I did you should too! Head down to Gunther’s guns 😂
