I don't know Diva and only played around with a demo of Serum for a short while, was not convinced of all the hype.

The workstation is quite powerful .. i guess your next challenge is now getting third party providers to put their stuff on UVI workstation instead of Kontakt.. Demos like this do help though. :)

This is my first time really looking into this Uvi stuff. It's pretty dope. This will give Kontak a run for its money I see.
I did not want to vest in a Kontakt ecosystem and this has an attractive workflow with many functions other sample players just don't have.
Why is there no indication of the various slices after using the slice function?

The UVI workstation ARP is the best one I've ever used, the presets are killer too... anyone know if i can use it to send midi data to other VSTs or external hardware synths?
i loaded it onto my pro tools but i dont seem to have access to all the presets you seem to have there. i wonder, do i need to use my own presets or do they come with any installation of this? all i seem to have is about a dozen or so presets from Falcon pre set tour... whats the deal? am i supposed to download more separately or did mine not load properly...help would be appreciated ....thanks..
Is this based on Spectrasonics instruments by any chance, looks a bit like Omnisphere to me? Also i went to some music event at Birmingham NEC about 20 years ago now and i and a lot of other people were all stood around watching a guy play an instrument called Ultra Focus. Was this you guys who made this? I just remember it had awesome sounds and i managed to get a copy but this was a long time ago back in 32 bit days and they then seemed to disappear. Also finally do you have your own DAW to put this into?
When i load a synth, it's telling me loading program and also keygroup. What does this mean, i haven't found the answer in the manual.
Please update UVI workstation to push the fine pass 100 and -100. In order for me to do the thing I want to do I'm limited to the fine tune being limited.

I can't get the sound output from the headphone while playing from the UVI workstion..only from the mac's speaker the sound is coming.. though from any daw, the output coming through my headphone. I checked my audio midi settings too where even creating the multioutput still the out from the headphone is not working.. I tried to find the output setting in the uvi workstation but didn't find it anywhere. Please help me ..

I'm new. Doing multi like from this video you made. When I go to the second part on the multi and change it to A1 on the 2nd part only that part plays. Both don't play. When one is highlighted with my mouse it plays and part 2 it plays but they don't play together like in your video. Anything I'm missing to get part 1 and part 2 to play on A1?

can this be used as a third party vst in a daw?
one question I have is: Pianoteq or VSL both can let me put on the piano's sustain pedal without need to step on it (sorry, sometimes I play on the bed)... so can UVI workstation do that? (step on it and just let it stay)

@@UVIofficial the thing is that there is no modwheel... for example, I am using Casio CT-S1 to play on the bed since it is one of the lightest pianos... or another one that's possible is Roland Go 61... if I use a MIDI controller to play on the bed, some of those SL88 Grand or Komplete Control S88 is like 30 pounds
Hi ! Can I record a song in uvi workstation ?
I downloaded UVI Workstation, wanted to install and I was informed to install PACE License. I am not sure about this PACE license. Do I have to install it? How do I open to start testing on my computer?? I was interested in this workstation. Could you make a video guide on how to install UVI Workstation?
We want this on iOS the iPad Pro for instance please make this happen I also purchased Beathawk, we would love to see more of your products on iOS thanks.

Love the UVI stuff but this update to version 3 of the UVI Workstation has not been working correctly at all on my system. The Workstation no longer Loads presets from the Urban Suite and just crashes. Also when in VST plugin mode in Ableton live 10 Suite there is a bug where it holds down a piano key forever and just keeps playing that note. Please fix!

UVI Can I copy my favourites folder to another computer as I have 2 instances of UVI/FALCON software?
UVI I did that and there has been absolutely no response. I’ve looked around online and it appears this has been a problem for others as well for quite some time. Meaning UVI presets crashing the Workstation. This is pretty bad especially for someone like me who was looking at getting Falcon.

I have installed it but it doesn't appear in the plug-ins section in Cubase 5. How can I get Cubase 5 to detect it?
Check C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins. That's where mine installed (without even asking me if I wanted to change the install location).

What’s the difference between WORKSTATION and UVI FALCON that’s on sale for $244 ? Or are they the same thing? If not, which one is better? Would they work on latest iPad Pro?
Hi, UVI Workstation is a free player for the UVI soundbanks while Falcon is a full blown hybrid sampler synthesizer. It won’t work on IPad Pro.
Hi, 4GB of RAM will be enough as Falcon do not use much RAM so it all depends on the CPU. We would advise for an i5 as minimum requirement but an i7 would be better.
Best Falcon expansion for retro sounds would be Analog Motion and Digital Motion.

So can i create a Sound in UVI and put it into Ableton Live?
You can of course load UVI Workstation into Ableton Live as a VST or AudioUnit instrument plugin.

I got the UVI workstation with grand piano for free with a Arturia keaybord a year ago, but I have not been able to figure out how this works.
If I open the UVI workstation, it kills the playing of TH-cam and other apps - and I need to reboot my PC to get them working again - so I cannot follow along with any tutorial...
Hey, try setting the audio device to 'Windows Audio' as opposed to 'ASIO'. It worked for me. Hope it helps!

The major flaw with UVI is the inability to load presets with the aarow keys. Too much mouse clicking in order to scroll through and load presets. They should allow those to be assigned to midi controllers as well so it is easy to scroll.
For me it is important to be able to use keys and mouse at convenience. If it is not possible with keys, only mouse, I am not so interested, because it is a notable restriction.

You will find a Chord option in the Arpeggiator section of UVI Workstation, but you may consider Falcon which includes a lot of great features to do so, like the processor script Chorder for instance :)

Your plugin may have saved Avid there business for the home studio producers sake (like me) 😂. If the Workstation help me create chords I will definitely be investing into Avid Pro Tools again 😎!

Are there 3rd Party instruments which will not accept the free workstation, but REQUIRE the full FALCON paid software (Like Native Instrument's Kontakt and a lot of stuff requiring the full kontakt player)?

When you have sample-based instruments such as the Vintage Legends synths, they will just cut out after the sample length is complete?
Is it possible to seamlessly loop them as required for pads etc?

Our synth instruments feature sustain samples that allow you to hold notes indefinitely when playing. Plus, sounds are provided looped when necessary.

I have a genuine question, not trying to be rude or anything... But why isn't there an option to change where the VST is installed (or even indication in the installer as to where it's being installed)? I had to search the internet to find out where it's installed, because nearly every other VST I've installed has allowed me to place the VST files in a specific folder anywhere on my computer. Either way, thanks for making awesome plugins and I can't wait to get started now that I know where everything is! (to anyone who is having similar issues to me, check out this page - support.uvi.net/hc/en-us/articles/115002056629 )

On Windows, you can disable 'Silent Install' in UVI Portal's Preferences. By doing so, you'll be asked to select your VST location during the installation process :)

In the groups I belong to I must be the one to use UVI Workstation instead of Kontakt.
Nice update but I can't seem to see what's new beyond the general layout.
One feature that is important is multi-out but you don't seem to talk about it.
Next thing is I have trouble using the mod wheel on anything that is not on A1.
What I'd love is a preview mode to auto assign the connected MIDI controller to the displayed instrument. Often we have only one controller and can't assign different controller to different parts...
Nothing to do with UVI Workstation but could you also make tutorials on how to properly use Orchestral Suite? I'm not much experienced in MIDI programming of real instruments and I can't get to understand how to get the best out of the library.
The good part of the update is it overwrote the old version and my templates in FL studio did not break. I would prefer avoid start over to create every single part in my DAW but it happened smoothly so everything is cool.
Last thing I'd love to ask is why everybody goes Kontakt?
It is expensive (Kontakt Player is unsufficient to play the most interesting librairies on Kontakt) while UVIW is free.
How could one create libraries for UVIW?
Is there a catalog including 3rd party libraries? I think NI has such feature on their site.
What are the capabilities UVIW has for library makers?
P.S. : I wish you make more videos to talk about how to use your programs. I was looking for multi-out for quite some time and was about to contact the support until I found it.

Already from the start he shows how to load a preset and plays it with his keyboard... but he sould have started by explaining how to connect the MIDI keyboard...

I was excited to give it a try but it requires jumping through way too many hoops. Workhorse is free but it requires the installation of 2 other programs. One of them is a 3rd party anti piracy software that makes you create yet another account. For some reason the ilok app refused to allow me to create an account so i went to google it and check out what it -and the other app - are.
The second app is a weird one - Bonjour. I have no intention of having apple tracking products on my PC. While i was trying to uninstall it it kept asking me to close various firefox tabs so it was definitely tracking my actions.
My beef is not with UVI software - which i sadly never got to try - but with various 3rd party bloatware you force us to install.
Developers should have their own anti piracy solutions, not force customers to work with other brands.
As your products, judging by the demos seem to be of great quality I suppose the reason you are not as popular as you could've been comes down to this.
Also, it would be fair to mention ilok and bonjour on the main Workstation page so that people can stop before they waste too much time.
I remember giving up trying to get this thing going.
Your problem is with Apple I think... I didn't have to do any of that crap but I also use my PC for audio work. I was also introduced to UVI thru Touche (the best tool I've ever found for EM; it lets you play your software like an analog instrument) so perhaps, since it's 3rd party software that needs UVI to run, I avoided all the nonsense? If you play any analog instruments, I highly recommend investing in a Touche LE; It changed the game for me.

the sampler/slicer is the weakest part of it... hope later we can see slices and edit slices es well, but it 2022 so...nah...
This was my first try on UVI products and it is not a god start. I just installed it and see no presets. You missed several important steps. File browser panels don't scale at all and despite I am on PC it feels like I am on a MAC :-( (which I do not like). The MIDI settings screen and other pop-up screens do not scale and fonts are super tiny. Active MIDI inputs list is so tiny I can not even read it with the magnifying glsss. The entire process of UVI workstation installation is quite a bit of a TURN-OFF. Since this is FREE product (assuming I did not purchased any libraries yet) it should be much more streamlined and simple in a sense what files go where...). Default paths (on Windows machine) make no sense. REALLY POORLY DEVELOPED INTERFACE

To be honest this begging for a little bit of love. It seems like you abandoned it or deliberately don’t want to update to push people to buy Falcon. Even though you highly promoting sample libraries.
