Always a fan of UVI’s software, Protoculture’s back to check out Emulation II+ which brings together the sounds of the iconic 80s Emulator I, II and III samplers plus the Drumulator and SP12 into one massive 11GB bundle with over 1300 presets of classic 80's bliss.
In this video, Nate looks at the user interface and demonstrates some of the sounds available, along with the option of each meticulously sampled sound being played individually or stacking them up into huge soundscapes.

Falcon is so cool, and so expandable, UVI should build a hardware instrument with Falcon inside......

UVI Falcon is becoming my main "go to" synth these days because their products don't have a sharp, jagged high-pitched edge like, say, PhasePlant. In fact, at those times when I do load up PhasePlant (I'm forced to because its architecture is so deep and varied), I slap a channel strip on it that has a compressor, eq and limiter. BTW, that Emulation II+ is one fine-sounding synth. It has way noisier patches than Arturia's version which, but all that noise is the secret ingredient for character.

Two questions.
1. I see you have the older versions in your soundbanks. Can you still use multis created from the older versions?
2. The multis included with the new version are nice, but can you create and save your own?

yes that was pretty stupid to say, sounds like somebody from the 90's calling everything from the previous decade "cheezy", it's so dumb from today's point of view, or how everybody was trying to dubstep the commercials and the synth demos, few years later people were "barf" about this...
