Great for setting up keyboard range, split, zones etc. so as to be able to play, for ex., bass on the lower key range and synth or piano on the upper key range - splitting at middle C.
any idea how to change key note length? I am playing a harmonium which is an organ type instrument the chords are meant to continue playing while holding keys down but the program designer made them die out even when holding the keys down... any way to change it in UVI? thanks
I have Cubase LE Elements 7 PC. Should I use the 64 bit or 32 bit version of UVI? I downloaded the 64 bit version of UVI but its not showing up in my VST drop down screen.

I have the newest version on a 2013 macbook pro with PT 11 and when i record enable a different track it plays fine. but when i record enable the uvi workstation, load a preset, and try to play it, the keys show no movement :( I can play them with the mouse but no MIDI. Any thoughts?
@@investinate8051 which out put setting sir? I overcome the same problem as yours and couldn't find any help yet. Would u mind share the simple steps on how u handle this? (for ex: go to control setting then....?) thankyou!
@@jojo-fj7lw honestly don't remember srry! but make sure you're on the right MIDI channel as your keyboard 'omni' or channel 1. Make sure your track routing is setup up to the LR outputs.
+Juicy Soundz This helps but the fact that we can only draw in the automation is not good. It is much more fun to record automation moves with a controller, now it is quite an inspiration killer. But it sounds good, the UVI sounds.
I see this comment is a year old, so hopefully you didn't give up and got it working, but I find I often just have to reset my interface and Workstation actually works.
Open an instance of super 7 in your daw to get your midi controller working. Above the logo that is uvi super 7 you will see a little blue A next to where it says part 1 click on the A and a drop down menu appears that says Omni A1,A2, A3 etc.. select Omni and your midi controller will work as long as it is recognized by the daw
Seems like you get what you pay for with this product. I received a copy with the application for the Touche controller and installed it. When I first opened it I double clicked on the window that is supposed to load, apparently, some sounds. Didn't happen but there were two error messages indicating that whatever the app was looking for couldn't found. If the app doesn't know where it's own data is, why would I (even assuming it was even installed). Second, the app window does not have anywhere near the controls, including a keyboard, that are shown in this video. Third, the program cannot be closed using the Window X control. You have to go into the Task Manager and kill the process. All in all, not worth spending any more time with. Uninstall!

What's the use of assigning sounds to other groups (A2, A3, A4) if you only have one midi keyboard to play with? :)
How do I mark a sound as "favorite"? The manual only mentions saving multis

You can insert as a plug-in on your DAW or use it as a stand alone. More videos and instruction on this series at (www) groove3 dot com
