I just got this vehicle after owning a 2022 X5M Competition. Overall, I like this better. It’s not as fast or sporty but it’s still plenty fast enough and the ride is much more luxurious.
Wow... it's faster 100-200 than the SQ8 you had a while ago here by 0.6 sec... I think the " M60i engine" is the perfect balance regarding price/performance ... in this higher hierarchy SUV.
Interior and exterior looks great! The only negative point I see is the weight with about 2.420 kg, but considering the straight line performance achieving ~ 15 sec. flat from 0-200, this can keep up with a M2 competition of the previous model. I assume this engine more being close to 600 hp considering weight and acceleceration.
Its a family oriented SUV. Youre not gonna track this car, straight line performance is literally 90% of people need because of highways and inner city accelerations.
@@Omgiamsotriggered u still need good breaks and they are average in 30d msport and not suited at all for m60i. A letdown compared to cayenne which comes with 6 piston front, 4 piston back. 4 and 1 only at bmw

The new S68 is used, the XM and X5 Comp uses the exact same engine but with a stronger TUNE with more KW, but the same 750NM. Completely new engine top to bottom, just no sound ;-(
Especially this one, the X5 M50 - X5 M - X5 M COMP with the last model, the middle car was not bought, so they made a new V8 and only one, before they had a N and S V8 but to keep the cost down removed the car nobody bought, and use the same engine with two tunes. Great Idea, Now a Fast Family SUV and a Weekend Track Family SUV. Good thinking I think.

I have problems with cars over 1400 kg. I feel that mass, especially when braking, no matter how much you overpay for brakes, I don't know what kind, but these are buses. I'm hoping for the return of smooth elegant sedans with sexy curves and not these overrated CyberPunk zombie bisexual cars. Hahahaha

The engine now has the cross bank-turbos, that before only the M-modells had. That`s why the typical V8-sound has now completly gone!

Please hold the downshift paddle down for 3 seconds to add 40 horsepower for 10 seconds and see what the 0-100Km/hr time shortens to on re-test.

M50i definitely sounded better.
Agreed. We had a 2021 m50i and now have a 2024 m60i, and the m50i definitely sounded nicer.

I watched couple of M60i and X5 M , and I feel that B58 engine in M40i and some other models sounds way better.

Correct, silverstone only comes in sensafin. The color options for merino on x5 is pretty limited outside of the full M
I believe the breaks are the same as on x5 30d msport, which is not impressive.
remove OPF, resonator, muffler, put in a X pipe in the middle after cats out to dual straight pipes and it will sound like a real V8 not a 320i
why the x6 m60i 0-60mph can go 3.87s in a wet condition. x5 m60i is more slower？
