    Well isn’t that the cutest top ever! Well done! The little wrinkles at the sleeve head should go away after washing and a good steam press. You may have stretched it a bit when serging them together. Excited to see what you make next 😊

      Thank you! 😀 A couple people mentioned stretching with the serger….I am glad to be getting a consensus!

    I like your shirt. Since it doesn't have jack-o-lanterns or witches or black cats, I'd say you can call it an autumn shirt and wear it til Thanksgiving!

    Well dang your shirt turned out beautifully! It looks like it fits you perfectly and is so cute on you with the theme and the colours! I had to laugh at your cat when you were talking about organising your cut and uncut fabrics; it was the way he looked away after you said that was another project as though to say “oh boy that’s going to take her a while,” 😂
    At least that’s how I interpreted him. You did a great job with your vlogtober and always make me smile! I managed to sew a little patchwork envelope pouch from the book Visible Mending. I still need to topstitch it but so far I like how it’s turned out 😊

      Love it! I am fairly certain he understands English, so you probably interpreted right! 😂😂😂

    The top is super cute! If you play with the differential feed on your serger, it will help with some of the rippling or “horns” you see. When I serge medium weight knits, I turn it to 1.5 and it helps a ton. Was super fun to watch your videos this month! 😊

    Great job on the shirt! You can adjust your differential settings on your serger that will help with the ‘horns’ on the sleeve head, but really it isn’t very noticeable.

      Someone else said that too! It must be it! I’ll file that away in my brain for next time! Thank you!!

    Re:Horns - I think it's getting stretched in the serger. But it may go down with a little press. Or a wash and dry. Let us know! I just adjusted my serger settings (I don't remember what I did!) And it seems to be stretching less...

    • @WanderingBobbin
      @WanderingBobbin  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Serger settings! That makes sense….I’ll have to remember that! Thank you!!!

    The little horns and stuff happen to me too. Yours are small and might come out with ironing. I know it's knit, but ironing helps me. Also, it could be the tension. Did you find that the horns came out after washing? That helps me too. Also, that shirt is so cute I want to make one too!

    • @WanderingBobbin
      @WanderingBobbin  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It didn’t come out after washing. I think it is the differential on the serger, going to pay attention to that in the future.

    Did you give your seams a hot steamy press? That has helped me in the past. I do love it and it looks good on you!

    • @WanderingBobbin
      @WanderingBobbin  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi Lisa! I did 🫤 Maybe I’ll wash it and do another good press though.

      @@WanderingBobbin it’s not something I even noticed, you know we are our worst critics!! I wouldn’t even worry!
