This will be fun to watch. I'm exactly the same...can't sew unless everything else is under control or I feel guilty. I feel the same about reading and have recently scheduled an hour a day to read so maybe an hour of sewing would work for me too. It's a good time of year to try it!
Cute pumpkin print! Pants! Yikes! Watch for too baggy on elastic waist. The best tip I got was to take pants that fit me that are similar and compare leg pieces. I placed my pair I purchased on top of pair planned. It helped me.
I always feel guilty going to sew if I don't have all my housework done. My husband said pay yourself first and go sew and then you might feel more motivated to do the housework.
