Thats because you are old school, from a different era. Pulling out your phone at a show is normal these days, whether you are from an older generation or a newer one. Its a norm.
Cool from mtw and 99 in Del Rey. we love Sunset! Played the Whisky before. Played the Rainbow upstairs many times. cheers! thanks for the cool Aerosmith.
This is why I love youtube, you can watch all sorts of cool live music here.I just wished Aerosmith or Slash would play some gigs anywhere near where I live.
I’m 13 and I’m a BIG Aerosmith and Steven fan. I’ve been a fan since I was 3. I’ve seen KISS, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, and Poison live and I want to see Aerosmith bad but they haven’t been to my state since 2014 (Tennessee). I’m blessed to have a cell phone at a concert. I put that sucker on record, put it in my chair’s cup holder facing the stage, and then rock out. I witness the concert face to face and I can watch the greatness anytime I want to thanks to phones. I understand being mad about people just standing there holding Their phone, but it’s different when you’re like me and have a passion for rock music and play 6 instruments and you want to watch the concert right then and there and never want it to leave your memory so you record it.
Thank you Aerosmith! I use to live a few houses away from the Whiskey a go go. My 14 year old brother parked cars there and we both got in without ID's so cool. Walked passed it everyday on my way home from school. The old school
Great performance, crowd is a little mellow, but it's LA, they're typically laid back. That keyboardist is excellent vocally & on the keys. He blends with Steven perfectly!!!
WOW!!! First time playing the Wisky A Go Go since 1973, what a stellar F'N performance guys & it was an extra special treat to have Slash join you up there. I can't wait for the tour later this Summer, as far as i can see there is only 1 Canadian date, please throw in some more dates and come on up to the capital here in Ottawa, Canada..... Peace!!!
I'm seeing them live for my first time July 28th Northwest Amphitheater got really good seats thanks for posting this Happy Birthday Steven Tyler 67 years old bs still rocking
I love how Perry takes a second to say something about the bands history with the band. I saw them in Grand Rapids and he said It was the first city to promote them besides Boston
They had very little support from anyone in 1973. Columbia records were spending all their $$$ promoting Bruce Springsteen. 'Toys in the Attic' came out in 1975 and they skyrocketed to fame. A true underdog story, winning in the end. Then losing it all and winning it back again. Biggest come back story in the music business.
Without Brad Whitford? Looks and sounds like a warm-up for Europe. Must've been a cool show, BUT...without Brad? Can't go there. I did, however, see the Hendrix Experience with Brad and D.Zappa and E.Johnson and B.Guy. Killer show. Aerosmith's gonna rock The Gorge, WA. Hell yeah!! .............with Brad :]
Gods of Rock, seen them on Nine Lives tour in Glasgow, Scotland, Tyler amazed that a mosh pit broke out during Dream On, yes we luv em that much, need em back in Scotland
I want that shirt that Tyler has on!! haha I got a feeling this is going to be a rocking tour!!! I love Slash's singer on this tour! Myles Kennedy! This is a cool set at the Whiskey..hard rocking baby!
And spread the word about there frickin tours cause they still rock baby, and so we don't miss out like most almost did when the new cd came out buy it listen and support it bam!
...what! I so missed out. You all played on my 65th birthday. Oh well, it's still a great belated birthday bash of interrelated cosmic rock and roll. So, it's all good! Like the Slash...or a gash.
Love you guys, especially all the pre~Sony years. I like Toys best, but Done With Mirrors, too~~~it seems like that was your last authentic Aerosmith nitty gritty album. peace
My phone would have been in my bag where it belongs and I would have totally watched 100% of the show and enjoyed every second if it.
Thats because you are old school, from a different era. Pulling out your phone at a show is normal these days, whether you are from an older generation or a newer one. Its a norm.
there's nothing like small venues gigs... that's where you can really get the true sense of the band

I remember when rock ruled the airwaves. Then 2000 came and music shit the bed. Haven't listened to the radio in years. Barf!
I love how Perry takes a second to say something about the bands history with the band. I saw them in Grand Rapids and he said It was the first city to promote them besides Boston

How AWESOME Live Nation, thanks for sharing Aerosmith @ Whiskey-A-Go-Go, made my day, loving these guys since 1970's
Amazing performance, shame some of the audience wanted to watch it on their phones and cameras instead of live.
