This is a very creative move. I can easily see that this would be extremely effective in making sure that proportion and line work is not a big issue. Thanks for sharing this. I have a project coming up that i am going to have to draw the stencil on and i have for real been worried doing it because of line work and proportion issues since i dont have a steady had for real but, this makes me 100% more confident that i can do a good project. Thank you for sharing
Awesome work! A faster route in the future is get yourself a big graphite crayon, and just scribble all over the back of your print out, I then use a cotton ball to blur it making sure there's even coverage, and cut it out leaving yourself a buffer around the edge and tape it on, and then draw over it. You're essentially just making your own transfer sheet without doubling up on the paper.
I was going to suggest the same thing lol. Another route you don't even need to graphite or color the back if you're worried about access smudging or smearing you can even press hard enough when you trace the lines and it will leave a temporary indent in the material to trace and get the proportions and detail that way.

If you're going to be cutting stencils try and build/buy a small turntable and cut a mat to fit it. Then you can turn it as you work to make a lot of your tight cuts easier.
Hello Craig, no it is not the same thing. Acetone is a lot stronger so be careful when using it. We make deglazer a bit different so it has a longer dry time and doesn't eat into material as quickly.
First make sure the paint doesn't dry and then you can either use just water or our Angelus Brush Cleaner. angelusdirect.com/products/angelus-brush-cleaner?_pos=1&_sid=2eff8a58c&_ss=r

The paint is water based, however we see your concern. We do this in a well ventilated area and the artist has the option to use one.
