I've watched 20+ minute tutorials on design space and still finished none the wiser, this video just showed me all I need to know in less than 5 minutes 👏👍
Thank you soooo much for this video. I'm just starting out and this was the most helpful video I've watched for stencil work thank you thank you thank you
This helped me a ton, I was trying to figure out for the longest why I couldn't cut the uploaded image without printing it first 🤦🏽♀️Thanks, your a dope🔥artist....
I just launched my new website where i'm selling Stencils, Shoes, Decals and more! Go check it out! www.sneakersniper.shop ! All sales help support the channel!
No matter how many times I watch your videos no matter how many times I see it you still make it seem so simple..... How tall are your stencils for Louis Vuitton when you do for Nike or are they different for all the shoes
Hi Jordan Vincent! First of all, congratulations for your great work and all the tips you give us 👌 I customise shoes too and I have a problem. When i pull off my stencil from the customised shoe I often have sticky zones let by the vynile. It's very hard to clean even with acetone and it takes me a lot of time and precision. I tried with different brands of vynile but in vain. I may heat my shoe too close or too hot to dry paint 🤔 Have you ever had this problem and can you help me please? Thanxxx from France 😉🇫🇷
you just answered your own question to your mistake of the shoe being too hot, you don't want to put the heat gun on high put it on low, and not so close to the paint, you got it King
Thank you for this video. The link for the stencil vinyl is a Cricut premium permanent vinyl. Is that what you used in the video? I bought a Cricut stencil vinyl but the back doesn’t stick to the sneaker at all. Did I do something wrong😅
could you also use the outline you just peeled off and have it stick using a heat gun as well if you trying to transfer that outline onto a say for instance?
Hey Jordan Thanks for the video which is really helpful for somebody starting out. The question I hope you can help with relates to cutting machines and whether the Cricut Joy is a suitable option (in your opinion). I do cycling shoe repairs and repaints and have started to do some simple customisations. I'm looking at a vinyl cutter for stencils to help repaint the shoe logos as well as additional images or text such as their business logo. As its just a hobby I'm limited by budget but also hardware with my laptop provided by my employer where I cannot load external software. This limits me to a design space via an app. I'm also conscious that the cutting machines on the market have a wide range of applications where as I only want to do vinyl cutting for stickers and stencils. All of that leads me to the Cricut Joy and whether this, while small and reduced features, will serve the purpose for stencils and stickers Cheers
Question might be stupid .. but if you don’t have a laptop does the cricut app work on a phone or you need a laptop source to be able to download your image ?
I needed to see this video!. Are you able to color in the blk/white image on Cricut design or does it have to stay as is? (I do have a cricut, hot press, and cricut design app- haven't used either yet. I'm a beginner)
Hey man can you help me? I'm trying to cut a louis vuitton stencil out from my cricut joy. And it wont let me, saying this isn't compatible or someshit. I'm ready to freak. How were you able to just take a picture from google and get it to cut?
So glad you made this vid....I actually make wood signs, or put a stenciled design on different things Ive painted and have have used ALL the alternative ways from printing the image or fancy words & lettering out and scribbling on the back like you showed here, to using graphite/carbon paper between my image and item, to using stickers, which works great for letters and solid designs...paint the item a light or dark color, or no color at all then apply your stickers, then paint over the whole thing with a darker or lighter color than the first color and then peeling up the stickers and sanding around the words to blend them in a bit....to just buying the flipping stencils, lol! But, stencils can be expensive, ESP if you keep up with what is new and trending (which you want to do if you are selling items), so you end up with a drawer FULLL of stencils you used ONE season that you paid at least $8-10 for and you prob wont use again. I finally gave up putting off getting a Cricut after I seen someone selling one on FB for $50 less, still in the box bc they ended up staying with their older model bc the newer one no longer had some options he needed for his business. No one really talks about making stencils though! I dont like the look of a lot of the wood signs with the Vinyl words on the wood bc it LOOKS like a sticker on wood, lol! I dont know, to me it just looks MUCH better painted. Thanks for showing that it CAN be done and esp the heat gun trick!
I am finishing up my 3rd pair of kicks,I finally prepped and used Angelus paints on this custom so it will be "wearable" art, they are turning out bad ass
Can you help me? I want to transfer a landscape scene into canvass for oil painting later with the kids. I dont have the patience to freehand draw on each individual canvass the image we are all going to paint. Is there a way I can quickly put the vector lines or simply an outline image onto the canvass as quickly as possible?
Thanks for the video So I just started cricut stencils. The first time I used it I had issues w the the stencil pulling the paint off and the paint and stencil not separating. I was doing fairly small letters. Should remove the stencil right away or should I let the paint dry? Would love your thoughts. Thanks
When I use the maskingtape method, I blowdry the paint between coats, do you guys do that too? I am asking because my tape seems to lift off a bit so the paint tends to escape underneath the tape. Do you have any experience with that and maybe a solution?
OK so like I totally love your on video and your customs.., I do have one question, how do you get by with reselling your customs if they have trademark logos on them?...
As long as he isnt selling it as a "nike " or "in n out" product he is allowed to. Oncs u purchase a shoe from nike u can do w.e. u please to it as long as u dont sell it described as a "nike" designed item

You’re the best teacher! I’ve had my cricut for two years and haven’t used it correctly.
Whoa! Thanks so much! I’ve always wondered how all who paint shoes just magically knew how to draw characters. This is awesome. You’re dope
Super helpful and simple but detailed enough for a beginner to understand the process and steps ! Very much appreciated.
I actually just recently bought one to make custom shirts and everything I can. This was a great tutorial and very very helpful video!
Did my first two pair of shoes with angelus now I’m stepping it up buying my cricut today! Thanks for the info 🙏🏽💯

I just want to know, do I use vinyl or sticker
Vinyl
Just wondering, how come transfer paper is necessary. Why can’t the vinyl be peeled off it’s back and put straight onto the wallet?
Some people use transfer tape some people don't 👍🏼
Paint keeps leaking through my vinyl stencils. How can I prevent this

Trying to make a UConn pair for myself to celebrate the national championship but couldn’t figure out how to do the logo until this video. Thank you!!
OMG I'm looking for this for a long time! finally!!THX A LOT!!!!!
Appreciate the video this was the most helpful video as far as finding out about stencils
Whats the difference between the explore air 2 and your explore 1 as i am looking into making my own stencils also
Thanks man 😁😁
It’s just twice as fast as the first one
This is super helpful. Thanks!! I was kinda lost before this :)

Could you leave where you get the lv transfer on google in the description?🤍
You are an amazing teacher! Right now, I have another medium I work in that this is going to be a life saver. Many thanks!
Ive been looking for a video like this thankyou
do you need to use a heat gun on an air force 1 to make the stencil stick better?
Very good! 😊
Thank you for this video. The link for the stencil vinyl is a Cricut premium permanent vinyl. Is that what you used in the video? I bought a Cricut stencil vinyl but the back doesn’t stick to the sneaker at all. Did I do something wrong😅
Can you please make a video on how you do you're louis Vuitton stencils
Great tutorial. Are you using HTV or permanent vinyl like for windows and things?
Where my post notifications gang at?
could you also use the outline you just peeled off and have it stick using a heat gun as well if you trying to transfer that outline onto a say for instance?

very helpful i used the tracing paper method and made my own stencils thanks!!! simple and quick 💯
That was mega helpful! I just bought an airbrush and this was a lot of help.
Question might be stupid .. but if you don’t have a laptop does the cricut app work on a phone or you need a laptop source to be able to download your image ?
I just ordered one from michaelsand it says you can do it from your phone
can i use a cricut create? please let me know (great vid)
can you do a video where you show you airbrush technique and a unedited custom please
Thanks for letting us know!!! I will use this information 🔥
Can I sell custom wallets and stuff If they have a Nike logo, or sell custom Nike shoes with Louis Vuitton stuff on them
You’re not supposed to because you could get in legal trouble, but people still do it
You can not sell registered logos but you can tweaked them and then it considered an a original artwork. Maybe try drips or obscure for originality
I needed to see this video!. Are you able to color in the blk/white image on Cricut design or does it have to stay as is? (I do have a cricut, hot press, and cricut design app- haven't used either yet. I'm a beginner)
Thanks so much for this tutorial! I'm currently working on a project and am having trouble with vinyl residue on my leather...any tips? Thanks!
Would you recommend the cricut explorer air 2 or the silhouette cameo? How do you trace in the cricut design space
I keep my dial to custom and choose vinyl in the program. Are you just using acrylic paints?
Quick question, what would I have to do different in the first step if I wanted to make a reusable stencil
I love this guy 🙏🏽✨ Bless
Thank you so much. Very helpful and informative. You are giving different options. Great job 👍👍👍

How do people make the iron on for shoes ? Do they cut all different colours and out them together ? Or is it print and cut ?
Great video 💪🏼.. What paper for stencils do you use? Thanks
I literally love all your videos ❤️😩 soo helpful 🙏🏽 thank you for that
So do you use the stencil vinyl or regular vinyl I should have seen this before starting so now I have to clean and restart
Umm is the portable any good for this or do you only suggest the filler sized cutters? 🙌

you've explained everything very well. every details. thanks!
Is there any tip you could give to make this a reusable stencil?
Just started customizing my own pair pf shoes for the first time! It ain't easy I got so much more respect for customizers now😂❤
Just finished my first pair! Good luck with yours, don’t be discouraged, I’m sure they’ll be great!
Literally just completed my first pair of LV AF1's without the drip, customizing is tough stuff but pays off in the long run!
I am finishing up my 3rd pair of kicks,I finally prepped and used Angelus paints on this custom so it will be "wearable" art, they are turning out bad ass
this video EXPLAINS EVERYTHING I need to know....THANK YOU!!!!!

If i bought a circuit Joy Xtra would that work. It's a bit cheaper and i'm trying to save as much as possible.
Does the cricut joy also cut vinyls for making custom sneakers?
I have a silhouette portrait 2 and it’s a smaller cutting machine but it was $140 it cuts 8x12 sheets
yeah i was deciding between a silhouette and a cricut
Jordan Vincent both work great I was just on a budget so I got the silhouette
yess I’m so glad you did this!!
Can you make one on how you make/design the Gucci / LV logos for Nike Air Force
Would a silhouette cameo 2 work for a vinyl cutter
Very helpful!! I love this ❤️❤️🥰
What kind of vinyl you used ???
I'm just starting out, so thank you for being soooo informative! Subscribed!
Can you use your phone for the vinyl cutter or it has to be a computer?
Hey Does it make a difference if I get permanent or replaceable adhesive? The one you have linked is permanent. Won’t that leave residue on a shoe?
can you make one for a more complicated stencil like the LV or DIOR ones.
the problem that i always have when cutting my stencils is that i can never find a high resolution image do you have any tips
Wow! That's cool! You make it look so easy!
How long did you wait for paint to dry so you can remove stencils?🤗
Just a quick question which vinyl stencil to use when customizing either permanent or removable.
Thanks for the video So I just started cricut stencils. The first time I used it I had issues w the the stencil pulling the paint off and the paint and stencil not separating. I was doing fairly small letters. Should remove the stencil right away or should I let the paint dry? Would love your thoughts. Thanks
You have to let the paint dry first
For stencils, what's the difference between cut and just print and cut? for stencils is it mandatory to put print and cut so it can come out better??
Thank you for Sharing is Caring Great Video ))
Appreciate Good Work!
When I heated my stencil vinyl it shriveled up, what am I doing wrong?
i think you’re holding it too close to the stencil which makes it too hot otherwise i have no idea
Too long heating it up

Where the transfer tape come from??? Does it come with the vinyl or its sum separate???

What kind of vinyl are you using? The one I have has a clear transfer tape attached already and no white background on the vinyl.
Now i can customize my new Jordans :D i got them today
This was awesome thanks bro
What kinda computer do I need for the cutter. Will a laptop work?
For my jeans i use simple tattoo stencil paper with ink and its work well. I will try that on shoes 😃
So does this require me to have a computer or would I be able to connect my phone to the cutter via Bluetooth or something
So I can get a sheet and print out reflectors too right??
Yo I have one of these and I do this and also fun fact they actually have irons that u can buy to put them on and I have the hole set of cricut
What if you want to place a stencil on top of an area that’s already been painted?? Would the heat gun affect the paint?
Just use for small periods of time heat can not o ly damage paint but also shoes purses etc
Do you need a pc to be able to do this? I seen they have an app but idk if it's limited to what you can do
When I use the maskingtape method, I blowdry the paint between coats, do you guys do that too? I am asking because my tape seems to lift off a bit so the paint tends to escape underneath the tape. Do you have any experience with that and maybe a solution?
