Agree, just not together as I saw in a recent video outside of this channel. She used both vinegar and baking soda to wash the orange before zesting. That doesn't work because vinegar is acidic and baking soda alkali, which neutralizes each other making them ineffective. May as well use only water. I prefer baking soda myself when it comes to washing my fruit before zesting. Might be just my imagination, but I sometimes wonder if the pungent vinegar wouldn't somehow compromise the flavor of the zest.
Great tips, thank you! I like the “ASMR” which usually drives me crazy and I have to mute it. But listening to the boards sliding across the counter and other kitchen noises on your channel is relaxing. I was making an apple pie for company a few years back and our guest was sitting nearby. He commented that the sound of the apples being peeled and sliced was almost putting him to sleep 😊. Watching you I finally understand what he was talking about. 🥰

You are a magician! So many neat tricks and short cuts in the kitchen! You are such a delight to watch and learn from. By the way, I love your hands and you have lovely expressive eyes too❤. Husbands out there should be jealous 😂!
I love that method for making my own cupcake papers/foils. The ones available in the stores here are not big enough for my muffin pans. Wonderful idea.
Using citric acid (lemon juice) or apple cider vinegar turns calcium crusts into calcium citrate, which is an easily removed small and soft crystalline scale. The same reason for drinking lemon juice or ACV for kidney calcium stones - helps dissolve and remove them from the body.
I love using vinegar to clean where I can. Actually, that first example of that mineral scale is nothing compared to what everything in the kitchen and bath looks like as we have very hard well water. What works better on the calcium and lime is Apple cider vinegar, especially when you can figure out a way to allow it to sit for 15-30 minutes. Borax is also a wonderful cleaner for all kinds of things. CAUTION: Do NOT mix Borax with vinegar! Nothing bad will happen to you, but it will set up like concrete within about 30 seconds of being fully mixed. I know, I tried to make a paste without considering the chemistry. Boy, was a surprised!!
I used to clean the scale off our shower stall doors by hanging paper towels soaked in vinegar on them for a little while. Labor intensive but better than using dangerous chemicals.
When I use my grill, I have 2 or 3 wet paper towels laid aside. As soon as I get my food out, I turn off the grill, lay down the wet towels on the grill ribs, and close the top. After we eat, I open the grill, take off the grates and they wash clean very easy.
Place a piece of kitchen towel over the cut portion of your Bell pepper (Capsicum) and wrap in cling wrap and it will last a lot longer in the refrigerator.

Vinegar is the best fabric softener. It leaves clothes feeling soft and fluffy, leaves no residue and NO CHEMICAL PERFUME SMELL. Your clothes will just smell like clean fabric.
@@WebspoonWorld You're welcome! The smell of fabric "softener" is so obnoxious to me. I was so glad to find a natural alternative that really does work better. :)

I find that for very hard lime scale (because our water comes from a well) Apple cider vinegar is best. Lime and Calcium end up on more than just dishes, but also on the sink and shower doors and just about everything that touches water. I apply pure apple cider vinegar to surfaces that it will remain on (horizontal surfaces) and let it sit. I don't know what the difference is, but after a half hour with the apple cider vinegar, all of the scale comes off. I've always had to repeat with white vinegar. And if that doesn't work, fume-free oven cleaner does.
I love so many of your ideas! I often wish that I remembered where I saw one of the techniques but there are so many.If you could think of a way to organize some kind of index, maybe on a website you would be way aheax of the rest of similar videos with a money maker on your hands But also something very helpful to a lot of people. Soak the pan: Fill the pan with warm water and add a small amount of dish detergent. Let it soak for a few hours or even overnight to soften the burnt milk residue. Use vinegar: If soaking doesn't remove all the dirt, try adding a small amount of vinegar to the water and run the pan through the process again. The vinegar will help dissolve the sediment of the burned milk. Clean: After soaking or soaking with vinegar, use a soft sponge or dish brush to gently remove the dirt. Do not use abrasives or sponges as they can damage the non-stick coating. Apply a paste of baking soda and water: Mix baking soda and a small amount of water to form a paste. Apply this paste to the dirt and let it stand for a few minutes, then gently scrub the pan. Try specialty cleaners: Specialty non-stick pan cleaners are also available in the market. You can try using them as per the instructions on the package. Rinse the pan: After thorough cleaning, rinse the pan in hot, soapy water to remove any residue of detergent or other cleaning agents.
