These tips border on genius, sitting there in front of us all this time and we never saw them! Brilliant!! This shows why you are a master in the kitchen, talented, creative and wise.
OH MY! The mushroom cleaning hack just changed my life!!! I use mushrooms in all kinds of recipes and the one thing I could never get right was how to get them as clean as the ones the chefs use on TV. Now I know. THANK YOU so much. I love these food hack videos. PEACE
Love the use of muffin tin for dough cups and ice blocks; Using the tin in the freezer takes less space than small plastic cups for the cubes; freezing the water bottle on the side, steaming the skin on fish before cooking….all of them are great hacks. Thanks and wishing you great success.
I agree I'm been a home cook for nearly 30yrs AND I'm a qualified chef and didn't know any of these, I guess some hacks are not the way the tutors grade you on.
Just when I think I have seen it all, you surprise us with so many ;tips. Thank you. I am looking forward to your 1 million subscribers. You are a genius in the kitchen.
For a crispy crust on the pizza hack, I throw a piece of parchment paper in the pan (large enough to cover the bottom) and then heat - keeps the cheese from oozing into the pan, but still gets melty. If it's really dry, you can spritz with water.
😊Had an Italian foreign exchange several years ago, back in Italy his mom was a baker she taught him how to use parchment paper when making pizza, he in turn taught us. Since then I am never without parchment paper while baking.
Love your life hacks. Can you do one on how you keep your oven so shiny clean and your knives so wonderfully sharp please? Thanks. Ps, I think my favourite episode was where you were coping with no electricity - and still made yummy food instead of ending up a teary mess I like I would have. Hope you and your loved ones are surviving the war okay. 😍😍
Place a baking sheet or aluminum foil on the bottom rack to catch any spills or drips. Wipe up spills immediately to prevent them from hardening and becoming more difficult to clean. Regularly clean the oven using a non-abrasive cleaner and a sponge or cloth. Use oven-safe mats or liners to protect the oven floor from food debris and grease. Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning the oven door and removing and cleaning the oven racks.
Air fryer to reheat pizza, works great! You can run a small amount of water over bottom crust to remoisten & soften but still a bit crunchy on top crust. Quick & easy. Love this channel ❤
Love your channel. The hacks are great. So.e I already know but so many more that I don't. Please keep your fantastic hacks coming. You ate a pure genius!! Stay safe xx
Yep, @dianefiske-foy4717 , I saw that lettuce-coring hack in the 1960s or maybe late ‘50s. Couple of French chefs demonstrated it on their cooking sh@ow. (I can’t remember their names). They suggested you would only need to slam the lettuce on the counter one time, if you accompanied it with a proper martial arts yell.
I always love your hacks! * the foam trick for drinks like coke, I do not like, I do not think that is hygenic.. I always poar in to the middle, then also less foam. *The water bottle hack is very good, I also use frozen bottles of water to replace cooling pads for using in the coolerbox, and after they melt I can drink them, * And for my white wine I freeze left over white wine, for next wine as ice cubes which does not gets water taste. * Leftover Red wine I freeze for use in sauce or meat gravy. * the pizza: put a little water on the bottom and warm it in the oven * For SMOKED salmon: the salmon usually is very difficult to take the slices off. Just put the package upside down, and start from the bottom.. the slices come off easily. * The lemon trick I also do it with leftover strawberry's, blackberry's, raspberry's, etc. to put in my drinks.. Looks and tastes great! *I like the milk froth trick, saves an expensive froth maker! * I have an extra tip, after you fried french fries, just twist them in a salad twister, (centrifuge) you'll be amazed how much fat you beat off! Spoonfuls of fat! So you can eat less fat and healthier fries! Keep giving us your tips and tricks! I love them!!
I usually eat left over pizza cold straight out of the refrigerator. Yeah, i'm weird. I know. lol. In all seriousness though, these life hack videos are great. Alot of them I never would of thought of or have heard of before.
Fantastic tips! I've been doing the frozen water bottle thing for years but I also freeze tea that way. Then I can add tea to the bottle and have iced tea without it being diluted by ice. The muffin tin idea is also great for anything you want to freeze in individual portions. Eggs, mashed sweet potatoes, hash browns, chopped onions, slider patties, crushed ginger, parsley, basil or other herbs, etc. You could add water to some of the herbs you're freezing to keep them fresh. Thanks again, you always provide the impetus for fresh ideas!!
You can freeze biscuit batter the same way you did the pancake batter and cook the cubes in a fry pan too. It's so great to have hot biscuits along with your eggs and bacon in morning without the hassle of rolling them out and cutting them and then baking them in the oven. PEACE
Place a piece of leftover pizza in a skillet, LOOSELY cover with slightly crumpled foil, and heat for a few minutes for a crispy-fresh crust and melty cheese!
Loved the frozen egg tip. Looked so neat when fried and takes less room up in the pan. Creative use of peelers, cake cooling racks and getting level spoons full of flour etc. Good lateral thinking! Yay !
A number of these hacks are useful. Freezing the pancake batter caught my attention. I think I'll experiment with this one to see how it affects the rising of the baking powder. 🤞
What amazing tips! Love the avocado, mango suggestions especially. The American word *hack* means a rough cut or blow, not a great refined culinary term. Love your channel.
I like my pizza crust slightly crispy like hot bread. I put slices upside down on a rack in the baking tray and grill it shortly close to the top element until its dried off. Then I turn upside up and grill about 2min until the cheese melts again.
Thank you for the mushroom idea! There is a myth in the cooking world's collective memory that says washing mushrooms is a bad idea-but this isn't true. Mushrooms are mostly water, so a little more is not going to change their flavor or texture. These fungi also lose moisture when they are exposed to heat, which means any extra water is simply going to cook out. And just imagine how big and fat they would be after every heavy rain LOL
To make crispy potatoes pancakes after I grate potatoes, I squeeze the starch water out using a cheesecloth, just like Chef did with the zucchini. Really great ideas, some more work than it’s worth, but generally lots of useful learning . Reheat pizza in pizza pan in oven to get it crispy again.
when I need to squeeze the juice from large amounts of fruits such as zucchini, when making relish I use a pillow case that way I don`t have to worry about any falling out the side
another great video, keep them coming. To reheat pizza, I put 5-6 drops of water onto a microwavable plate, place the pizza on top then 2-3 drops of water on top of the pizza, place in the microwave for 30-40 seconds. the result is similar to yours essentially you are steam cooking the pizza :-)
THANK you for all your wonderful ideas i have not regretted clicking to your channel i love your recipes and always tune in its nice to finally hear your voice

My grandmother taught me the skin removal from Salmon “trick”, never fail method. I am 73 yo and learned this when I was 6 or 7. Learned a lot from my grandma❣️
Do you want to re-use your plastic peanut butter jars but they're too kukky to wash? Put a couple of spoons of flour in the jar and work around with your fingers. Empty out the flour when it's absorbed all the PB. Wash normally. These jars are GREAT for ALL SORTS of things. Lightweight and airtight. I use mine to freeze stewed fruit when fruit is on special.
The frozen batter cubes was new for me! There will be more pancakes in my future! I live in a tiny place. I use silicon muffin cups and quarter-sheet pans to minimize my bakeware. I'm sure the dough cup technique will work with those, too.
WOW!! Again very amazing prep and cooking hacks to aid in ease of prep or cooking. I like the pancake, lemon and no foam running over your glass. Thank you again WEBSPOON YOU ARE SUPERB♥️🙏🎉👍

Ice chunks and pancake batter freezing! Awesome
freezing in a plastic bag works as well ---- just spread it out so it's easy to break off what you need
