I am working on the second part now, Heads are in the machine shop so I am waiting on those and I have a ton of other projects going. I will get this one fixed asap, Thank you for watching!

i usually will take a small line and connect the trans lines so it just pumps back in
I have done that as well.
I took mine apart last summer and got as far as bolting the heads and manifold back on and then life happened. Ive forgotten how to put the front timing cover and brackets back together. Did you take any other videos by chance taking that front section apart?
Unfortunately I do not have the video of taking that front section apart, however I will have a video coming up of me putting it back together. I have so many projects going on I couldn't promise a timeline.
If you slide a thin, sharp tipped, metal something (scribe tool or whatever) between the hose and the tube you can break the bond between the metal and rubber without damaging the hose or the tube.
You can also damage both.

Great tip. Works great sometimes. I tried that on some of these, they are very hard to get to. Much easier just to cut them off and replace them in this particular scenario.
I always just cut the rear hoses and replace. Cheaper and easier than battling them. Dumb design
