Nice Rustler, we are behind in the UK and they are only just showing the Stampede version of this. Traxxas do keep the spares in good supply, unlike Arrma there spares are slow to come as they still have not got bodies in stock here for the Gorgon. I like have the beefed up a few parts and bearings. I have looked at pictures and the new brushless motor looks more like a brushed one in design. I do like the new tyres they are doing now.
Nice purchase this should be a ripper ..... have to agree bullet proof reliability is expensive but they deliver only electronic upgrades is the steering servo which is not uncommon in other trucks so nothing to really complain about at all, they can get a little feisty at times though lol 👊
This new line looks awesome. I'm hoping they put out a BL-2S Rally. I run the the heavy duty kit in my Rustler 4x4 and the parts are much beefier than stock.

Traxxas as a company is like Gibson with guitars. They’re kinda psycho about their branding, and try to kill the small guy. That being said I do like their trucks and buggies. One great thing about Traxxas is their parts are readily available at any hobby shop and they can be used on many different RC’s. Another good thing about them is they’re tough as nails. I’d love to have a few of the trx4’s like the k5, tge square body and the sunset bronco, but to me they’re too pricey for what they are.
The rustler is a great basher for sure.
did you cut the antenna down ? and remount under body ?

They are def jerks. Let the aftermarket flow. Not copy cats but upgrades and little guys!
