Enjoy that rig brother. That new setup traxxas has with these improvements is absolutely perfectly matched. Runs much cooler. I found. Enjoy

I’m thinking it’s top speed will be in between what a brushed system can do and the VXL
    Just my opinion

It doesn’t look from what I can see that they’re showing the top speed potential for this like they did for the previous generation Rustler brushless system.
Matter of fact they show the potential top speed on the boxes of all the models with the VXL brushless system (Xmaax, Maxx, Hoss, UDR, etc)
    Interesting

I had my hands on one of these earlier in the week. Sadly the "Heavy Duty" upgrades were nothing more than colored plastic and not aluminum.

The heavy duty arms are indeed a better plastic compound' and are much more beefier. Traxxas never said anything about aluminum arms

Nice video! Interesting the BL 2s is 3300kv, when Velineon is 3500kv. In theory the BL2s should be a bit slower then, unless they changed gearing. I put some BL 3000 kv in a few trucks and while running cool, they were much slower unless run on 3s. I since swapped them out for 4000kv for faster 2s running. Yet the Velineon seemed to be the perfect 3500kv sweet spot of power and torque. I wonder if they reduced the BL2s to 3300kv to make it more durable and run cooler.
I like how they went with clipless bodies and it looks like a beast. I’d get one if I wasn’t already saturated with over 20 RC vehicles including 3 brushless Slashes. I don’t have a Rustler though….hmmmmm…🤔😆

No TSM tells me they are not going to be anywhere near as fast.

Mark Santa Maria stated in his review that it wasn't really any faster than the Titan brushed setup.

      Thanks.
It’s ridiculous than that Traxxas is touting this as the next evolution in brushless systems.
I obviously will not be buying it.
Holiday season is coming. Can’t wait to see what Arrma puts on sale. Two years ago they did the Kraton 6s EXB roller for $319 and we grabbed two. Last year they did the Fire Team for $399 and we grabbed two.
And Traxxas gives us a free light kit…lol WOW Traxxas, just genius🤦‍♂️
