I have been watching your video and I love the way you show different ways of finishing things… Professional framing can be so expensive and what you do adds an extra charm that you don’t get otherwise. Also, your video are easy to watch which is very nice… Thank you for what you do!!!
Thank you for all of your tutorials. Just love them and for sharing your beautiful stitching. I am left handed too and had problems using a rotary cutter until I saw someone reverse the blade on the cutter and it works wonderful for me. I also got these rubber dots to put on my rulers that keep it from sliding. It helps a lot with measuring and cutting fabrics since I am new to quilting.
Love your stitched piece. Check to make sure your side lengths match as well as your top and bottom measurements should match each other, that will help avoid the uneven edges. This is why your mini quilt ripples. Also, generally when binding a quilt sides are added first and to and bottom second. But honestly it does add to the rustic charm. Good job!
Your mini quilt is adorable 😍 and I love the way you expose it in the photo frame. I would like to make one suggestion for your security: please when you use your rotary cutter, direct it far from your body to avoid accidents. Thank you for sharing.
You're a great instructor and I totally enjoyed this video. Yes, I was going to say the same thing. You should always cut away from yourself when using the rotary cutter.😊
super ! je cherchais une idée pour personnaliser mes ouvrages ;en regardant ce tutoriel : inspiration 🤔🧐 je vais me remettre a la broderie et faire des insertions de motifs brodés, merci et bonne journée 😘 Frédérique
You should push away from you toward the top of your project. For your safety. I also use a 5lb (dumbbell style) weight to help hold the ruler. They do make a cutting glove if you are afraid of cutting your fingers.
What a sweet little stitch ! Your finishing fabrics are spot on ☺
Thank you! 😊
