@@michaelfear4801 It finally arrived and it's awesome. The delay meant that I had plenty of time to stock up on parts upgrades, extra tires and the new X6PM controller with a gyro receiver. I get mad wheelspin when I gas it on some of the local surfaces, so the gyro is sweet. Insanely good car for the money; I'm so impressed that I just ordered an extra one.
I am thrilled with my MJX 16207, which is basically the same as this just a little bit shorter. However I do not even dare to wear flip flops or sandles when running it, that front metal bumper will be a world of hurt when it hits you on the toes or feet!
I found that pin on the front after adding some lithium grease to the diff and had to start all over again, I was not happy😂😂 ours run fine on 3S 25C 3300mah lipos but be careful the battery doesnt slide forward onto the steering servo arm and stop your steering. we ended up using velcro to stop the battery sliding.

Hello, your videos are excellent... I also have a 124008 and I have only used it 5 times, no jumps, no crashes and the rear Dogbone has been solid in place and has worn the cup, according to other comments from other owners the Dogbone is somewhat short and several have given that problem, that has happened to you ?... some solution in this regard... I'll thank you.
Yes, I have the same problem where the rear drive cup got worn from accelerations. That's a common problem for ALL wltoys 1/14 to 1/12 buggies. No solution other than replacement. I tried MJX diffs but they don't fit.
@@customtoyrevolution Thank you... Someone told me that putting a few rounds in the differential cup could help, so that it doesn't wear out the mouth of the cup and get out of place.... What do you think about this?
I've not service it. I can still blast it with 3S at 50+mph. The only wear I see is the rear drive cup wearing out. Again, I don't really jump this car.
Thank God! That's what it looked like so that's what I ordered. This car is perfect cept for that metal spur and tiny pinion. Not sure why that chose to go that route. You'd be hard pressed to strip that plastic spur on its cousins if your mesh is good. One of the most enjoyable things about the 124017, 19 are the buttery smooth, QUIET drivetrain. Thanks for solving that for us!
I just did the mod! Thanks for fixing this cars issues. Ditched the unnecessary bearing as well. Haven't clocked it but I'm running her on 3s. Had to make some adjustments to the battery tray. Screwed a chunk of an 3s Arrma chassis to add a stop piece to keep the battery from hitting the steering arm that's connected to the servo horn. Sweet little car that can now hang with it's metal chassis brothers.
50mph speed test at the very beginning at about 1min, the test towards the end is for acceleration which show 45mph /w 1.03g in 3.08 seconds. 55mph is on part3 with mjx tires

velcro or a few drop of hot glue can act as the stop
MANY use foam blocks between the chassis and servo arm to keep battery away.

Just unscrew, they didn't put loctite on the one I purchased. For anyone needed to do localize heating of the screw, used a soldering iron.

no, watch video again where I talk about the bearings. you will need tools to disassemble the center drive assembly

It’s easier to just flip the motor mount & fit a 20t o.6 mod pinion that’s what iv done with mine .
