Why name it 124017?
I don’t remember exactly but think it’s 12 is the scale size 4 is the wheel drive and 017 is the model if I remember correctly.

RC Guy garage makes a nice little holder for the sky gps it a bit easier than the tape you are using and I have sent a few cars flying and its always stayed on

I've got a couple of these and use them to burn tires off and parking lot bashing. Fast, durable, cheap parts. My upgrades are a traxxas receiver, fan on motor, raise rear body mount to compensate for fan. Now can run 3s all day long. I like Traxxas receivers for their gyros.

I am a rookie in RC, just bought a couple of MJX 14210 to race my family in the backyard and WLT 124017 is on the way BUT I was somewhat impatient and ordered two Lipos S3 3300 mAh in ahead but now they don't fit to MJXes. Can anyone measure if it will fit for WLT 124017 ? Battery is 13,5 cm long, 4,3 cm wide and 2 cm high.
Bahahah - I got one of these Monday! Knocked a dogbone out on the first battery too! Fixed in 2 minutes.
Add 4 M3-10 or 12 grub screws to the steering arms (hole is there already) - gets ride height down a bit and helps handling a LOT
My car is overhauled, diff grease added, and metal gears/diff, proper shock oil and she runs SUPERB.
My last RC was a brushless Associated 18T 20 years ago. The wltoys is top notch - main drawback is lack of steering sensitivity adjust. Too sensitive for high speeds.
1-hand speed nub steering + cell phone holder lets you vlog and drive!?!! I tried it and am still a bit dizzzyyy.... lol

Great little buggy for sure. The radio seems nice as well. It's nice that you showed the damage after the crash. On my 124016 the dogbones bend every time I take it out for a gentle bash. WLtoys should go with something stronger. IMHO Thanks for the awesome review as always. 👍👍

Hi Steve.....Well, thats a bummer you could only do a short review. I need something like that to run off road. On a side note. I been running the Riaario AK 17 car on asphalt. Already wore down the 78 tooth nylon spur gear. I thought that was fast until I installed the 68 tooth spur gear. Now it's INSANELY FAST. Thats with a 3 cell 3300 battery. I get an average run time of 25 min............😎

I'm getting 91.733 kph with mine on 3 s lipo battery
Is that the v2 version because i have v2 and it cant run 3s due to it having 45a esc the v1 comes with 60a esc and runs 3s. Wltoys words not mine. That on v1 they we’re having problems with the 60a so they put a 45a. Seems werid to me. They seem to not know what there selling or they just mix it up and u get lucky.

I was wondering what size esc is in the v2 I’ve just got one. Do you know what size the motor is? However my remote is the same as his but has a blue wheel.
I had the same car about to do a review myself but I upgraded mine,, but it definitely will do 40 all day with a bigger battery 3 s esc can handle it

These people break these because they drive them at full throttle and crash. Then they turn around and say it's junk. They will last if you don't do crazy stuff with them

Maybe don't test the breaking power and maximum speed in the same test. Worthless.
Dude your doing a speed run and your standing at the end where you going to stop but there is a big ass barrier obsticle right there and no where to go can you see the problem you had otherwise your review was awesome
