I'm curious. Prior to learning you had the ability to SC, you were using EA and other CCS networks? I assume that you have the CCS retrofit already done? It was my understanding that tesla disables ALL high voltage charging, including CCS via adapters. I confirmed this with my Lectron/Setec adapter which won't charge my model X and longer after the most recent software update(it used to work prior to the update).
maybe Tesla waits couple of months to see if the salvage car is operational, then after seeing that it is on the road charging on regulars basis on level 2 ...they give a green light for supercharging.....
If only there was rhyme or reason to blacklisted SCing being enabled Is there a thread to read up on DIY SC enabling 3rd party anyone has seen? Read there exists ways but have not found them as of yet.
Hi brother, I am really love the way you do all the salvage Tesla you own from Copart. As now I was won 2 tesla M3 , but unfortunately another one is no key as the car I bought will ship to my Country , Cambodia. So, any solution to help me for register the new key , thanks 🙏
Thats weird. I got my Tesla delivered from Coopart to Ukraine and stupid me, I called Tesla and told them myself that i did that and that it was a salvage title. Couple of days later I get an update and my DC charging ability fully shuts down. Our mechanics just reanabled it by editing the cars config file. Right now im in Europe and i can plug it in the supercharger using a CCS adapter but im afraid its going to ban me from DC charging again.
Do you know of anyone else able to supercharge like you that did not have any inspections done and just suddenly is able to supercharge in the same time span.
Hey there! Tesla knew the car was salvaged almost a year prior. I confirmed that with my local service advisor. This has been happening for years where Tesla will randomly enable supercharging on salvaged vehicles. I have no idea why they do this, but my guess is to collect data. It usually stays on for 1-3 weeks.
@@WinstonsGarage How would Tesla know it was salvaged? just because it was total doesn't count, when it's rebuilt and registered then DMV send the data to tesla.
Keeping cars from the crusher! 🙌🏼

You accidentally flashed your VIN when you were showing us that your Model 3 is CCS enabled

Thanks for the video. Gives us hope about salvage title vehicles

Your charging speeds are way faster based upon SoC than what they should be. I hit you up on X. 123kw at 57% yea that's not normal.
will you ever colab with WhamBaamTeslacam at all in the future?
👀
are you still able to supercharge?

I have the model 3 and has a salvage title and it says supercharge is not enabled what should I do about that anyone please help me with that thanks
Was it always supercharging?
can you supercharge even now after the spring update?

Yeah. A lot of my friends in the salvage rebuilt community have had this randomly happen.
@@WinstonsGarageSo what do I need to do to try this?
@@WinstonsGarage it's not random, Tesla does not yet know the car was salvaged, but once they find out they will disable it.
That worked because Tesla didn't yet know your car is salvaged.
