Great video review. However, I believe you are mistaken about the non-FS range either being software-locked or lower due to change in battery chemistry from the FS. You should actually be getting greater efficiency and greater range than the FS because the battery packs are the same and the all-terrain tires are less efficient than the all-season tires.
I dont think wrapping will help with heat, because its the steel material that tends to hold heat very well. However if you are serious about avoiding heat, i would recommend going with white wrap to help reflect light, rather than vlack to absorbs light.
Black wrap will definitely make the stainless steel get even hotter in the Sunlight. But it's less likely to instantly burn you when you touch it, because the polymer of the wrap material does not TRANSFER its heat into your skin as quickly as the bare stainless steel does.

No ramp gate. No air compressor outlet. No rearview mirror screen. No driver screen. I loved Cybertruck when I put down the reservation in 2019, but they would have to get it down to $70k before the tax credit before I consider it. It's so stripped down, with a low hitch rating. I have a question if you would answer. How is the seat comfort in the Cybertruck compared to a Model Y? I'm a larger person (aka fat and wide) and my model Y Performance seats are narrow and somewhat uncomfortable for me. Are the Cybertruck seats any wider, more comfortable? Thanks.
Definitely. This seat makes me look small as seats are the bigger in Cybertruck than any other models. Seats are not as squishy as top grain leather would be but they are better than Model Y for sure. I had model Y and I can attest that.
@@MyGadgetsWorld Thanks, thanks as well @GarretL757. The bolstering on my model Y seat digs right into my side in my most comfortable position otherwise. Looking at the R1T and now the Cybertruck now that you can get it for $80k. I didn't notice it in a test drive but happened all the time in normal use for both my wife and I. We have neck cushions we got that sort of work. @@MyGadgetsWorld thank you, very interesting!
So only 10k since then
8:00 you forgot the d-rings in the bed floor
Thanks for mentioning that. It was too hot outside :)
FYI, your yellow title is misspelled on your thumbnail
Ah I am sorry. Thanks for pointing out
@@MyGadgetsWorld you’re welcome!
Simple NEW EPA cycle vs old EPA cycle.
Same real range I work at this place
Crying out loud burning kids now, this thing is as safe as a combine harvester.
It has to be far quieter and smoother with the AT tires.
I had AT tires as well but All season is smooth.
How can anyone afford this truck? How much did you put on the down-payment and what is your monthly payments?
Lol. That is a personal question. However, going to school, getting a good job, doing a good business, inheriting money from family, marrying a rich wife, you can buy this truck or even buy More expensive cars than this. I bet people still buy $80+ luxury cars
@@MyGadgetsWorldhonestly most mid tier pickup trucks are close to 70k now. 80k isn’t much of a stretch.
342w/mi with a 123kwh battery would be 360 mile range. Pretty good.
120kw on the non foundation
Only if it has 123KW battery :)
@@MyGadgetsWorld with a 120kwh and a consumption of 342w/mi it should still get 351mi
Good review. Clean the inside of your car next time before posting..😅
Lol sure next time will do that. I got two daughters so it was still much cleaner 😂
Thanks.
I’m a bigger guy as well, have sat in one a couple times, definitely better for the wider folks, much less bolstering.
Definitely. This seat makes me look small as seats are the bigger in Cybertruck than any other models. Seats are not as squishy as top grain leather would be but they are better than Model Y for sure. I had model Y and I can attest that.
I am 5’10 and 170lbs just for reference. Shaq O Neil got his cybertruck and he is big.
@@MyGadgetsWorld Thanks, thanks as well @GarretL757. The bolstering on my model Y seat digs right into my side in my most comfortable position otherwise. Looking at the R1T and now the Cybertruck now that you can get it for $80k. Another question, on my model y (Performance, so this might be the bad right quality on this thing) another issue with the seats are head bounce. I didn't notice it in a test drive but happened all the time in normal use for both my wife and I. We have neck cushions we got that sort of work. I'm curious of head bounce was an issue for either of you on the Cybertruck? Thanks for the answers! Super helpful. Plan to test drive one but not the same as longer use experiences.
Does it come with ventilated seats?
Yes it does for front seats just like foundation
General question: Do you think the CyberTruck Beast is worth the $100K price and why? I am going to order my CT this coming week and on the fence about getting a CyberBeast.
Not for me. Cybertruck dual motor awd is fast enough.
@@MyGadgetsWorld - Thankyou. I'm thinking more about the towing capacity headroom so to speak.
I have the beast. Its amazing
@@matthewp1682 - Thanks for your response. Out of curiosity, how does it handle compared to a Model Y or Model 3?
@@thomasruwart1722 handles as good if not better than my model s. The 4 wheel steering is an absolute game changer. Not to mention the steerbywire is absolutely the best feature of the truck.
It's weird the rear outlets are not better sealed from water.
Double covered. What more do you want?
@@monaezytwo6513 The outlet cover is not really waterproof sealed nor is the tonneau. I would expect the outlet cover to be better sealed and fully waterproof
@@darylfortney8081 Not really? You do know the outlets can be turned off and the cover and the tonneau cover are more than enough to protect the outlet?
@@monaezytwo6513 not really… the tonneau buttons themselves aren’t even fully protected and we already see people having issues with them following a car wash.
I will bet that a white seat option is coming soon. It’s available on every other Tesla model. The white interior panel decor would look awesome with white seats.
is there not a way to cover that giant glass roof? That has to be hot in the Texas heat.
They have a cover for glass roof included. But outside/exterior can’t be controlled
Where is the link for the lug nut caps?
In the description
There is a link for center caps but there is no link for the lug nut covers
