Erewhon cracks me up. Pretty much all the food looks decent but not extremely exceptional, similar to what you'd get at any nice grocery store. You can very much get much better value for your money from other places, including actual high end restaurants. The thing is Erewhon is betting on their regulars believing that more money equals better quality, and everyone else going once for the novelty. Either way they're making *bank* with mid food.
The Clam place was brilliant ab-so-clam-it-lutely deliciousness! But the other place.. nope. For these prices, it should all be cooked to order. Served on real plates and cutlery. Except the sausages, aka wallet-happinees suppositories. Rather by a plane ticket back to Manila Buffet.❤😊😊 Thanks, Mikey! You're the best foodie out here!🥰🥰💕💖🌸

Typical rich people pretentiousness. I grew up in Princeton, NJ and they had restaurants charging NYC prices for food that was not much better than chain restaurants. I have found this to be the case in Naples, Florida and Jacksonhole Wyoming. The rich people see the price and valet parking and think it's fine dining, but the scallops are hard, pasta is overcooked, and steaks not cooked to temp. And it begs the question, why would any great cooks live in those locations, its too expensive for a cooks wage to live there unless they grew up there? Hence poorly executed but high priced food with small portions.
Even if I had the money, I wouldn't give Erewhon my business if their food is that inconsistent for what you pay. I'd pay what, about $2/link at the most for sausages that big and that, well, underwhelming.
I’m all about capitalism but charging $7 for a breakfast sausage should land you in jail for treason. Nobody should be promoting this store, it’s counter productive for the rest of the country.
