Hey guys. For some people who says things like , Mike isn't being genuine anymore, or he only post good stuff or why is Mike not giving a proper review, only like UUHHMAZING or UHHMAMI or things like that. Let me tell you why. Mike Chen has preivously said that if he doesn't like the food he eats or the place he goes to, he will not post it. The reason is that he knows that businesses even small business work so hard and doing their best to get going, so he does not want ruin their business with his video. Although, things can't be the same when he reviews fast food, that is a different story. For people who ask me when did he said that. Well he said it in the 4 years ago video called :STEAMING Dim Sum + BEST & WORST Foods I've Ever Had". In that video, In minute 15:36 he talked about why he doesn't upload or showcase the food he dislikes
You can tell when he doesn't like something, because he says it's "ok" or "just ok" and then moves on. But I've heard him say he was disappointed in certain items and/or restaurants before, although he always manages to put a positive spin on everything. That's exactly what KarissaEats does too, so he's not the only influencer to do that. And honestly, I don't necessarily want to hear reviewers complain about bad food or bad restaurants anyway. 😃 Thank you, btw, for pointing that out, especially to the newer subs. I recall him saying as much before too, although I couldn't tell you if it was that video or another one. I've been watching Mikey for at least 7 years after seeing one of his airline reviews. I was hooked. 🙂
@@kareninalabama No problem its just in some of videos lately i saw a few complaints where people start to question his ability to judge food, as what he think is nice is not nice for the others. That's why I make that statement.

I’ve tried that instant Haidilao really salty. Given that there’s so many hot pot shop in Taiwan and food delivery, no need. Just have the real thing delivered.
You've just given me reason to check out Taipei in my lifetime for this alone. This bachelor on a budget highly approves! Hoping that those soup dumplings are better than the ones at Trader Joe's--that is about the only thing of theirs (TJ's) I don't like. Those 7-11's all looked fun and cool and if the food is as great as it looks and sounds, I wish I could go there right now!
Trust me. If you have not been to Taiwan or Japan, It will definitely exceed your expectations. Also, all food outside the convenient stores are excellent and low at cost too.
Not Mike being surprised by something you can also get anywhere else besides Taiwan😆 😂 🤣 The Oreo Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola flavored Oreos you can get in the US.
Hey Mike!! It's all about the Lay's. But do they taste like the flavor that they are saying?? 🤔 I do like the themed aspect.. I like how you travel and find all these exquisite spots. Enjoy!! 🐞😋🥳🫢
If you ever decide to come back and visit vancouver island canada you need to go to the beacon hill drive through they have amazing soft serve and onion rings and there lunch is great as well
There are workers or even homeless people will go to 7-11 to get food/snacks or coffee and then get some rest. And all 7-11s are air-conditioned so people will stay thereto escape the heat especially during summer.
I honestly didn't watch a second of this video but I listened to the whole thing while I cooked my food cuz your voice is so relaxing and I love the way you describe food
Mike! I assume you don't have this problem everywhere but how do you get around places where you don't speak the language and there is a language barrier? Do you hire translators? Rely on translate apps on your phone or wing it?? I'm so scared to travel because I won't be able to speak to people or order anything.
The flavored stuff really took off in the last 5 years. I've had a cheese burger pringles that tastes exactly like a cheeseburger. The same goes for the pizza, steak and roasted chicken. It's both amazing and a little disturbing (due to the cognitive dissonance of eating a chip and tasting a burger).

i love your Convenience Stores videos! please do more of it!
Love the 7-11 videos
yess they are my fav
Meanwhile in the USA the only thing 7-11 sells is an overcooked hotdog or burger.
They said they would bring some Japanese things, but so far just Mexican stuff and tacos. I live in Texas. Sucks man.

Hey Mike, welcome to Taipei! Just glad you made Taipei as part of your content to spread the good word! Thanks!
I am so happy I am watching this eating dumplings and Thai curry soup ! 🍜 🥟🥟🥟
I'm eating drunken noodles from Costco.😅

I always enjoy watching Mikey.
I love your videos so much, they just calm me down after a hard day of work, thank you for doing this! :)
Oreo x cola is the colab we didn't know we needed! I'm addicted to the Oreo cola!
It’s available in the us too. Or it was like a month ago.

@mansionman6162 I'm in Illinois.

Okay for the Scene 7-Elevens🎉😮😂
The man passed out behind you at the Maserati 7-11!!
Why can't we have this in Canada every time I see his videos I think why can't we have this here in Canada or the US
Because the majority of the people here would dine an dash or just raid all the inventory like at that ramen shop
I guess Restrictions that and we live in a terrible society
You gotta point some things we Canada or the US can't get it's sad @@Karin5461
I guess we're not cool enough 😕
Is there any food this guy doesn’t find incredible?
I know right

We have the Coke/Oreo collab here in Australia. I love them! I hope they stay around for a while. Haven't seen any merch here though.
We have it in the states to, it’s all over the world
Thanks for going back to the room. The kids and door chime was driving me crazy. 😂
Some good 7 11 I need to run 🏃 to every 1❤
Lol, Oreo Coke and Coke Oreos have been in the US for awhile now. 😂
at 7:10 guy is passed TFO lol sleepin his ass off TFF
I’m blown away ❤
7-11 needs to get better in the states.
Did anyone else catch that starting when Mike sits down in the first 7-Eleven at 5:01 until he leaves there is a guy sleeping at the table behind him.
I'm disappointed I didn't see any Gudetama when you visited the Sanrio 7/11. :(
Lovely fantasy food that doesn't exist in nature on in our kitchen
Low key genius with the non straight ice cream tip. Easier to eat. 😂
I honestly didn't watch a second of this video but I listened to the whole thing while I cooked my food cuz your voice is so relaxing and I love the way you describe food
The Coca-Cola flavored Oreos is the US have the Coke stamped cookie as bright red in color. Shame they didn’t replicate that too.

Tea eggs should be coke eggs at the Coke store.😂
The sanrio and snoopy ones are so cute 🥰
Muckey Chen: "Note to Coke no body likes your zero sugar crap."
The ramen store couldn’t exist here in Australia. It would be robbed in the first night
America either for that matter.
Always good pork bun in 7Eleven

Make your own ramen in LA is about 16 bucks for a bowl lol at least from what I saw on youtube
Oreo coke is literally just Vanilla Coke,
That is cool have that they have ramen 🍜 that’s open 24 hours a day and prices are not bad
The best videos you do are the convenience store ones.
As an American my corrupt mind cannot understand these 711s compared to the ones is Seattle.
I love how how he says "'Califlower”---Cauliflower!
How ia the Disney theme one not in the US, especially Orlando area
@Strictly Dumpling can you recommend a good hotel in okinawa ?
@17.21, your wedding ring is coming off.
I know right. I was sure it was going to come off too. It seemed to get lower the further through the video it got.
Bring back scary story time, please.

Oreo coke sounds revolting

You have to be the only person who thinks the coke oreo is good 😂😂
I LOVE IT
I'm slightly concerned about the amount of sodium Mikey consumes. 🤣🤣

These stores will probably change once the Canadian company buys the 7-11 company.
The most likely won’t considering 7-11 is and has been Japanese owned since 2005
And Canada isn’t buying the 7-11 in a while only the ones in Canada

I'm pretty sure when you put the coke oreo close to the oreo coke, the coke will start giving off a feed back sound.
