It has been said that at least once in a lifetime we should be a tourist in our own city. This highlights to me that I need to check out the food in my country New Zealand.
Calgary has alot (hidden) restaurants and some you might think to go to because they are small or in the more rural areas outareas of calgary . Calgary has 1.5 million people believe it or not.

I appreciate you filming this during a 3-hr. period of time and trying to eat as much as you can and still enjoying yourself while filming, not an easy task to do. Also, the descriptions of everything you ate were very helpful to any foodie or chef looking for any new ideas. Anyone watching this, get out and help support your local food festivals when they happen, support your Mom & Pop Ethnic Restaurants and also your local Farmer's Markets and International food stores.
Anyone that comes to Calgary needs to try the VEITNAMESE FOOD !!! Especially the banh mi. We have tons of unique veitnamese dishes like goat soup, hot pot..

@@dealhunter2317 beef quality is way better in Alberta. Maybe high end pho restaurants in Vietnam are better but average pho in Vietnam doesn’t have good quality and quantity of beef

Ive lived here all my life (more or less) and have yet to go to the meat festival. It looks amazing, but my knees just cry at the thought of being on them for several hours. i will have to invest in one of those folding chairs someday we have some amazing food here!
