Because most Americans have never even step foot outside the country. Between those who have traveled internationally and those who have never traveled internationally I often get VERY VERY VERY different answers. Often times the reason for the unhappiness with America tends to be from the corporate cash grab the country has become as everything is highest price with lowest quality while many other countries just do high quality for a fair price to sum it up.

I'm glad to see that they build a burger the right way with lettuce and tomato on top, unlike some stupid burger places in the US that keep building them upside down.
That's a crazy amount of places. I'm sorry you have to deal with upside down burgers. Every Chili's and Friday's I've ever been to puts everything on the side with the crown, never been to In 'n Out and had a burger with veg other than pickles, and have never heard of Cookout.
The Burger King burger with pineapple was supposed to be on the American menu, I think, in the 70's. But I don't remember if it was McDonalds or Burger King. I think it was the CEO who came up with the idea to have a vegetarian alternative for Catholics who don't want to eat meat on Fridays. They called it the hula burger, since pineapples are Hawaiian. I don't remember if they actually sold it here, or if it was just an idea that was proposed, but obviously it didn't catch on. The ended up doing the fillet o fish sandwiches instead.
@@Windinhisface Does it have ham or bacon? I could see how that could work, but just putting pineapple alone, as a vegetarian thing, I don't think would be good. Is that what it is?
@@Windinhisface I don't think that would be my thing, but I could see how people could like it if it has meat on it. But that idea they wanted to do at McDonalds, was just a pineapple slice with no meat, or anything else, and maybe cheese, if I remember correctly. Yuck.
“Pineapple doesn’t belong on burgers”. Tell that to Queenslanders that will happily have a beef burger from the fish and chip shop with pineapple AND beetroot 😂
I’ve also noticed that Aussies enjoy a fried egg on their burgers. Not unheard of in the US, but definitely not very common. Pineapple goes well on pizza (yes, I said it) so I’m sure it works well on a burger to cut through the heaviness.
They absolutely do! in the movie pulp fiction when Sam Jackson says “that’s a damn tasty burger” he’s eating “big kahuna burger” which was a Hawaiian based burger restaurant. People recreate it add pineapple/teriyaki sauce to the burger it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had to this day😂

The Hato, what you call a pigeon, is a symbol of peace in Japan. Please do not harrass them. The KFC in Japan uses the original recipe, same for Coca-Cola. All fast food in Japan uses real ingredients. For example, the auS McDonald's uses 17 chemicals for french fries, Japan McDonald's uses oil, potatoes and salt, much healthier. LOTTERIA, a burger chain sells 12 to 30 patty burgers. Mostly as a marketing ploy.
In Japan, it’s a legal requirement to make sure what you sell matches the promotion graphic, that’s why the burgers look soooo good

@@marydavis5234 probably because Hawaiian pizza has pineapple, so ergo pineapple burger
@@ThePrevo02 Hawaii has nothing to do with Hawaiian pizza, as Hawaiian pizza was created in Canada, by a Canadian born Greek chef
Hawaiian pizza is also named because there's pineapple in it
Yes it’s called a Hawaiian burger just because there’s pineapple on it & this fruit is seen as “tropical”… so is Hawaii. Simple as that really.
@3:01 When Sunny says "They nailed the look" Fun fact there's a law in Japan that if your food HAS to look like in the advertisement. Look it up. I wish we had this in the US.
quality control
That Mos place looks damn good. The Seafood/Vegetable burger in between rice looks amazing. Definitely not something I'd expect to see ANYWHERE EVER but quite fascinating.
Fun fact, soy is very anabolic and helps for building muscle. Steroids are ever sometimes synthesized from soy.
You're trying to decieve man into becoming soy-boys
I'm dutch and the sausage burger is a dutch sausage called “rookworst”.
rookworst zonder r is ook worst🤪
Crazy.. I've been watching you all these years and just realized i havent subscribed to your channel yet 😂
Pineapple on burgers is delicious. Australia does a tropical whopper every summer with pineapple, bacon and bbq sauce that is fantastic.
That’s sub standard and does not represent Japanese exceptionalism
Love your videos! Keep up tha great work!!
The A.I. makes me lose my hunger when they come on 😢
they really used every opportunity they had to use AI cutaways
The ai cutaways are getting really obnoxious
Thats why my videos are better
This video is about food, not AI
Yeah wish they would stop with them
they might have to get their money's worth first, these AI sites usually sell tokens or subscriptions of sorts and letting that payment go to waste is not super great for the channel. perhaps the ai is free though, im not sure. either way, as long as they are used, the top comments will always mention them, likely in a negative light.
Wow this review is unusually strict and honest considering the exotic foods that you have been eating 😂😂 very fresh take. And deserving for corporate manufactured fast foods
Next up: how BEFRS is Destroying their quality with AI images!!
Totally didn't take advantage of that beatiful Krabby Patty joke you had tee'd up for you.
’m a huge American that lives in Japan. I love the Burger King Japan one pounders, and always make sure to eat each one at least once (they change them up periodically). My favorite was the Ugly One Pounder! It was a masterpiece of cheese, beef, and cheesy bread!! They also give you stickers for eating their monstrosities!! Perfect!
Nope, we cannot agree on the subject of Pineapple :) it has definitely a place in cooking! My favourite dishes from my childhood I still make sometimes is fried pork in a garlic Creme Fraiche sauce topped with Pineapple Chunks, served with rice. It is very very tasty :)
I’ve been to Japan once, and had one of the best McDonald’s experiences I’ve ever had there, the food was perfectly made, only complaint would maybe be the size of drinks, a large as like in between an American small or medium
Yeah and because you were on vacation you weren't in a different mindset... oh you were. Lived there for years and japan isn't magic, stop it with the nonsense.
Only in America everything is big but other countries not same.
I have been to McDonald’s in like over a dozen countries and japans McDonald’s is pretty superior to any of the others I’ve been to. Note I haven’t been to a French McDonald’s and I hear they’re pretty good too. I know good McDonald’s when I eat it.
The drink size is fine, Japanese want avoid have diabetes or weight issues that does drinks cause in US.
I love your humor!
😂 Japans food is 10000% better then anything from America
Babble!
It's amazing that everything in every other country is better than America, yet everyone wants to live here. Weird.
@@CubeEarthTheory I'm an American citizen but never plan on going back to that broken country even if Trump fixes everything . I don't know anybody that wants to live out there tbh lol
@@CubeEarthTheory that’s what all Americans think 😂 I know many that have left
8:35 🤨Where do you hear people calling it “queso cheese?” I live in Texas and EVERYONE around me KNOWS it’s just “Queso!” We know “Queso” means cheese! That must be the states that don’t share a border with Mexico.
Same reason as chai tea
Nope he apparently just doesn’t know much about hispanic cultures based on calling it queso cheese. As I border Canada as Washington.
I've heard people from Florida call it queso cheese.
Plenty of people in the US still do. The obvious the closer you are to Mexico, the lower that chance gets. It’s in some menu descriptions here in Delaware
Mom says ‘bring me queso.’ Me ‘qual queso’ then she explains what kind 😅
I laugh more during your episodes than I do during comedians acts. Kudos to you. 🤣
We've tried all kinds of fast food in Japan and everything in better than what we have in the Philippines where mostly western fastfood thrives. Mister donut in Japan is not to sweet and that mexican curry meat donut is delicious
Except Chicken Inasal.
@@surftwhat is that? im Japanese btw.
@@bigqandlil chicken franchise from philippines. Only well known from that country
@@simpayshenaides okey, thx for breaking it out.
Nope for me, PH is still better
I'm glad to see that they build a burger the right way with lettuce and tomato on top, unlike some stupid burger places in the US that keep building them upside down.
Where are you going that the veg is on the bottom?
@@aj383 I've had to rebuild my burgers at, In N Out, Chili's, Cook Out, TGIFriday's and some local joints, just to name a few.
That's a crazy amount of places. I'm sorry you have to deal with upside down burgers. Every Chili's and Friday's I've ever been to puts everything on the side with the crown, never been to In 'n Out and had a burger with veg other than pickles, and have never heard of Cookout.
@@aj383 Well, I have to admit it's been many years since I've eaten at TGIFriday's so my memory may be wrong.
Maybe it’s better with the crap on the bottom so the burger grease doesn’t kill the bottom bun?
Cool, thanks for showing me a little bit of Japan.
We have a Tsunami burger here on the coast with pineapple on it and it’s delicious 😋
It was Macdonalds
@@Windinhisface Does it have ham or bacon? I could see how that could work, but just putting pineapple alone, as a vegetarian thing, I don't think would be good. Is that what it is?
It’s the real deal with a beef patty and bacon etc at a place called Pelican Brewery
@@Windinhisface I don't think that would be my thing, but I could see how people could like it if it has meat on it. But that idea they wanted to do at McDonalds, was just a pineapple slice with no meat, or anything else, and maybe cheese, if I remember correctly. Yuck.
7:30 Ayame??

“Pineapple doesn’t belong on burgers”. Tell that to Queenslanders that will happily have a beef burger from the fish and chip shop with pineapple AND beetroot 😂
Agreed. Pineapple burgers (often with bacon and called hawaian burgers) are a staple in fast food places here in New Zealand.
I’ve also noticed that Aussies enjoy a fried egg on their burgers. Not unheard of in the US, but definitely not very common. Pineapple goes well on pizza (yes, I said it) so I’m sure it works well on a burger to cut through the heaviness.
@@CraigBeere In NZ we also have beetroot... which is great.
@@Sniperboy5551spain too, burger with fried egg very good
They absolutely do! in the movie pulp fiction when Sam Jackson says “that’s a damn tasty burger” he’s eating “big kahuna burger” which was a Hawaiian based burger restaurant. People recreate it add pineapple/teriyaki sauce to the burger it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had to this day😂
In America the fast food destroy you
Ok hunny
I agree, it’s about the quality of the ingredients. In Japan, A-B quality, in America, grade F circus meat.
Nice Yakov😂
Pineapple on burgers is a staple here in Australia. Usually from fish and chip shops, with the burger having "The Lot" on it.
Bruh, which one of your editors is going ham with the AI generated image inserts, tell them to stop please :/
1:58 it's sad that this Japanese fast food chain actually makes burgers that actually looks like how it's advertised!!!
well, they have advertisment laws that can result in a fraud charge if broken. Point of them is, that You can only do graphical advertisment with a realistic depiction of the product.
That Seven reference was perfect, nice and sneaky

The Hato, what you call a pigeon, is a symbol of peace in Japan. Please do not harrass them.
The KFC in Japan uses the original recipe, same for Coca-Cola. All fast food in Japan uses real ingredients. For example, the auS McDonald's uses 17 chemicals for french fries, Japan McDonald's uses oil, potatoes and salt, much healthier. LOTTERIA, a burger chain sells 12 to 30 patty burgers. Mostly as a marketing ploy.
