Bruh you paint the bike not dismantle the entire machine like bruh what's make you think it will explode It's just the outer layer body not the machine
Lots of great information. I'm a motorcycle painter. I use a heat gun or a rubber wheel eraser for harder to remove the decals. It will leave the panel smooth so I don't need to spray any primmer surfaces. Saves a lots of time.
Thanks dude! I'm a DIY biker and always love spraying stuff and seeing clips of yours. I'm selling some paints and 2k clear coat rattle cans and I always recommend my customers to your channel for spraying techniques. And now you did a clip for motorcycles! Thanks and subscribed! Will recommend more of them to you! Thanks again!
Nice Iron Man color scheme. If I had a sports bike I would have it painted white w/ some black and an orange fuel tank. That’ll make it look like a spaceship. Pair it with an all white track suit, white backpack and an all white full face helmet with a rose gold chrome visor, and you’re now an astronaut!
Absolutely one of the best how to- videos I have ever seen. I really appreciate those small tricks you showed to us and clear explanation about steps how to proceed! Greetings from Finland!
You probably dont give a shit but does any of you know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my account password. I love any tricks you can give me
This is cool, I'm so jealous of you people for having the space to do this. Unfortunately, I don't and the cost of renting a booth to do this makes it more expensive than just paying somebody to do the painting for me.
No, you just need a good space with no dust... I've seen people rig up a box with a fan in the back and a filter over it, pointing the fan out of the window in your house to exhaust the fumes
also when spraying metal flake you should have noted that it is proper to take the little plastic filter out of the cup between the cup and bath if it has one.
Nice work, but I have a question. you are meticulous about prepping the plastic for paint; roughing, priming, etc. but you apply the black directly to the other paint. Why does that work?
how long do you wait inbetween pimer and base coat? or in between primer coats he may have covered this in a different video but i cant find it, thanks! great vid btw.
How much reducer do you typically use in your clear? My first time spraying clear was a nightmare because I couldn’t find any info about mixing reducer in the clear..found out the hard way
hey mate, where can I get that pouring cap that is on the adhesion promoter can? Is that the correct name? I am doing such a big mess every time I use thinners, hardeners, etc
hi i wanna try and paint my own motorcycle.do i have to use a special plastic primer for my fairings or the same primer that i use for the frame?(metal)it will be my first time spray painting
When painting over the silver base with the red, did you remove the masking tape right after painting, or did you wait an hour until removing? Concerned about the lines not being sharp.
I see you sand down the clear coat in between steps. Does this work if your clearcoat has lots of dirt in it.which I have on the first layer of clear. Can I sand down the clear and only redo the clearcoat or do I need to start from primer again? Paint has cured about a week.
rapaz adorei esse vídeo, assisti até o final, mas você não mostrou as carenagens pintadas na moto. onde está a moto com as carenagens montadas, não achei. mas tá muito linda a pintura, sou seu fã
Wow that black really made the pieces pop. Looking forward to seeing the assembled bike. Is the bike yours? I've switched from 3M to FBS Gold masking tape and bleed through are pretty much gone. Clear as a blocking color can really save your ass with candy colors. Thanks for the video.
Ralph Magnus did you get regular bleed through with 3m? I used the vinyl fine line last week and had fuzzy lines everywhere! I couldn't have pressed the edges any harder without damaging the first base colour
Yes not all the time but enough I was willing to try something different. FSB Gold was recommended to me I tried it and results are very good. Give it a try I bet you too will like it. The paint industry is always coming up with improvements so some experimentation is worth the effort. Love your channel keep rocking it!
Quick question Dave, on the high-build primer when youre done sanding it, do you go back over the pieces with wax and grease remover or just simply wipe them down with a clean rag?
How to paint an old Acerbis fuel tank of a KTM (1991)? It is starting to get yellow. And other old motorcycle parts? Most of the older motorcycle plastic is impossible to paint. Do you have a video of that?
How long do u leave it before removing the masking tape, should it be left over night or would that then cause your lines to mess up?,great videos, love ur work
Sometimes when I paint the plastic panels on 1 of my bikes (eg fenders, battery cover) I get a ripple/cracked earth sort of patches in a few spots. Could this be the plastic? Or residue from wax & grease remover?
Sir why my paint get crack when i put topcoat on it?.. it's about the topcoat or the paint i use? I hope some one help me with this problem. And what is the best paint and topcoat for motorcycle flairings and mags.?
I'm painting Yamaha R6, doing white pearl, than I need to land original stickers, than clear coat.. how much time I have to land stickers before I need to spray clear coat, as I have understood after some time clear will not bond to base coat if it hardens too much, is that true?

@@skyblers4143 it was a joke lol
@@edinpandzic5838did you end up painting it?
@@anthonygarcia3922 I did not...

So on plastic pannels or clean paint like a new fender or tank that has the right base colour already would you just scuff and then paint away?
Thanks dude! I'm a DIY biker and always love spraying stuff and seeing clips of yours. I'm selling some paints and 2k clear coat rattle cans and I always recommend my customers to your channel for spraying techniques. And now you did a clip for motorcycles! Thanks and subscribed! Benny Huang I need paint. Are you in the states?
Damian Arden nope sorry. I'm in Singapore ;)
Benny Huang hlow what name of paint?
Benny Huang
Singapore ? Hilarious
This is no doubt your best quality video so far, It's great man, keep up the good work! and also, nice bike!

@Emmitt Keaton Instablaster =)
At the 8:00 mark, I was really liking that sweet Iron Man effect. Had it been my bike, that would have been the finishing point. NICE overall effect.
U made me really interested and inspired to do autobody and paint work
Girl ?
This is cool, I'm so jealous of you people for having the space to do this. Unfortunately, I don't and the cost of renting a booth to do this makes it more expensive than just paying somebody to do the painting for me.
I'm really liking the way you edited this video! keep up the great work!
This looks like a lot of fun. Is it absolutely necessary to have a specialized room?
No, you just need a good space with no dust... I've seen people rig up a box with a fan in the back and a filter over it, pointing the fan out of the window in your house to exhaust the fumes
Looks great, can't wait to see the color changing paint.
I’m waiting to do just this. My budget for the air compressor is around £250. What options do I have? I don’t want an extremely loud air compressor.
Really helpful! I wonder if we want to apply stickers/decals, do we need to apply sticker first, or the clear coat first?
looking forwards to the exhaust heat changing paint. should badass!
also when spraying metal flake you should have noted that it is proper to take the little plastic filter out of the cup between the cup and bath if it has one.
Oh wow that speed is gonna like sick as. I'd love paint like that on my street triple
Mannnnn, That Was Sum Nice Dope Work Of Art, Gr8 Job
Those colors makes me think of some cool wasp transformer.
I thought T⭕️NY $TARK$ was going to walk in and ask about his suit parts being painted , looks fantastic 🤔
I was going to tell you that you do great work...but I think you already know that ! awesome videos. THANX!✌✌!!
I like the new sprayed table
This video is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much.
Very helpful video! One question... When the sanding between layers of painr or clear coat is needed?
Sorry for my bad English
Beautiful job
Wow. Fantastic video. Maximum effort and results that are worth it.

Great video! Confirms I'm on the right track painting my bike. Thanks for including the breakdown of your spray gun and paint setup.
How did painting your bike go?
@@therookie710 turned out great!.. Unfortunately, TH-cam won't let me post a picture here. 😝
Looked like Ironman before the black.

You sir are super talented
Have you tried using a heat gun on the stickers so you don't have to deal with uneven sanding?
hey mate, where can I get that pouring cap that is on the adhesion promoter can? Is that the correct name? I am doing such a big mess every time I use thinners, hardeners, etc
you have talent!
hi i wanna try and paint my own motorcycle.do i have to use a special plastic primer for my fairings or the same primer that i use for the frame?(metal)it will be my first time spray painting
So you basically added flake ti the clear and used it as a base coat?
When painting over the silver base with the red, did you remove the masking tape right after painting, or did you wait an hour until removing? Concerned about the lines not being sharp.
So are your base coats acrylic with 2k clear over the top? If so is there a danger of delamination? Thanks for sharing too. Good stuff
Scott Thomas the base coats are 1k but suitable for 2k clear.
I see you sand down the clear coat in between steps. Does this work if your clearcoat has lots of dirt in it.which I have on the first layer of clear. Can I sand down the clear and only redo the clearcoat or do I need to start from primer again? Paint has cured about a week.
Awesome job sir. I would like to ask, what kind of tape did you use?
How about using gold base coat and gold flakes, what would the results be like? And would a normal 1k primer work on plastic instead of 2k epoxy?
great video and amazing results like usually!

Well you just make it look and sounds so easy, good job!
Advice on spraying matt plastic parts?
how long do i wait for the paint to dry enough to stick tape on it...am afraid the tape might peal the paint off upon removal
Quick question Dave, on the high-build primer when youre done sanding it, do you go back over the pieces with wax and grease remover or just simply wipe them down with a clean rag?
Eion McCullough wax and grease remover and tack rag.
how do you clean up those rough seems after you peel the tape? does the clear just bridge the gap and make it look good?
bro u hav patience /// awesome works// know i knw somethings abt spray paint // ty loved d vid
Parabéns pelo excelente trabalho gostaria muito de aprender estas técnicas e praticar aqui no Brasil.

wow, ita nice combination of colours, thanks bro.
keep the good work up really good i like your video thx bud
Does the paper attached the tape have to be a certain kind to prevent bleed through like wax paper or something? Thanks!
You should have sanded the black coat so the edges dont see but im in love with this paintjob anyway!!!
HyralProductions thanks man. I mentioned that I'll sand them again at the end of the video. Should look good on the bike.
Wow. A work of art.
Really good video.
This was awesome.
How do you stop the candy lifting with the tape?

Lee Elliott just till the paint flashes .about 15 min
Why put the black. Gold and red flaky is just awesome.
customspraymods... do you know any company that produces a candy clear in a aerosol?
Sometimes when I paint the plastic panels on 1 of my bikes (eg fenders, battery cover) I get a ripple/cracked earth sort of patches in a few spots.
Could this be the plastic? Or residue from wax & grease remover?
Love your work... Thinking about doing it full time... How do you price your works....? Like this wan you just did?... Don't have to give exact price.
jermaine johnson roughly charge about $100 to $150 per hour
customspraymods oh... Cool. Thank you. So like the hydro sprints ones you did then add the red candy.. That's a different pricing yea?
jermaine johnson yeah charge a bit more for candy
customspraymods thank you.
customspraymods what you mixed the silver flakes with?
Can you recommend a quality matte finish spray can used on motorcycle fairings?
Same. A matte blue please.
What's the point in spraying clear then sanding before the black ?
Awesome job

What mixing ratio do i use for 1k primer if i didnt get any instructions and not on the can
Paint another helmet. also you should do a video about masking. such as when to take it off and how to apply it without damaging fresh paint.
Can you also just use a can of spray paint?
holy crap! That looks amazing dude!
Amazing work! Thanks for sharing
how long do you need to wait before you can tape over fresh paint
Unreal work man, I gotta find the future video where the bike's finished
Which grit do I need to use for sanding my old paint? And before applying the primer
That's a whole lot of work 😳
I need help I want a candy apple and black marble and I was wondering how I could do so and if it's possible with aerosol
Hi what type of tape do you use that will not touch the paint?

can you please tell me the spray, tape, and coating that you used specifically? thanks

What is the firm at the clear coat?
When you use a razor to cut the edges of the tape shapes does it not leave marks that show up like scratches in the paint?
