- Hello my beautiful fam! Welcome back to my kitchen today I’m going to share with you my version of Mexican pizza, hope you enjoy it as much as me and my family! All my utensils are from Walmart 😊

🚨 preheat oven to 350 degrees F, while frying tortillas
Ingredients: 2 tortillas per pizza
Small flour tortillas -store bought or make them the way I do here👉🏽 • How To Make The BEST F...
Refried beans- • How to Make Refried Beans
Mexican style cheese
Taco Meat:
2 lbs ground beef, I used 97% lean 3% fat
1 Roma tomato
1/2 white onion
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp garlic salt
1 tbsp cornstarch
Sauce:
15 oz tomato sauce
3/4 c water
2 tbsp vinegar
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp minced onion or 1/4
1/4 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cayenne
Toppings:
Tomatoes
Black olives
Green onions
Chile serranos
1 serving of love 💕

I made this recipe several times with different toppings and a good idea for everyone is put a little cheese on top of the ground beef before adding the top tortilla this holds the whole thing together and prevents anything from falling out of the inside of the Mexican pizza.

This looks so good! Can't wait to try. To avoid clumping, don't mix cornstarch with the hot liquid. Either mix it with a little bit of cold water, then slowly add to the meat, or substitute with flour. The ratio would be different from cornstarch, to flour, but it will save time in the long run. Just remember, cornstarch likes it cold and flour likes it hot! 😁

Looks good, but I think I would sprinkle a bit of cheese atop the meat layer to help it stick to the top tortilla better

Even though the quality of their Mexican pizza has worsened over time, I'm kinda disappointed that Taco Bell got rid of it on their menu. It was the one item I'd always get when eating their food.

Honestly I’d say 400-500 calories.. it all depends on what ground beef you get and the other biggest calorie thing are the tortillas.

Thank you so much for this recipe Miss Claudia 😍 I never thought of poking holes in the tortillas before frying...I was doing it all kinds of wrong and have been very frustrated . Wish I had found your channel sooner!!
Ideas for the same texture as mexican pizzas.
1. If you prefer the same texture for the shells as TB then just fry the tortillas in some oil. Don’t bake!
2. Instead of throwing the pizza in the oven then put them on a glass plate and put them in a steamer on the stove.
3. Use soybean oil or trans fat canola oil (if you can) it’s what we used in store
