This looks delicious. Back in the day, Tacobell used real beef and beans. Was one of my favorite places to eat when I was in high school. Thanks for the inspo!
@@MindOverMunch I am going to age well but I am talking way back in the day. They didnt have crunchwraps when i ate there. Lol. I am 53. My favorite was a bean and cheese burrito double wrapped with extra cheese and I loved their tacos and taco supreme.
I haven't had one since the 90s, but I would never have considered the sauce was like that, I would be guessed it was just an enchilada type sauce, and I distinctly remember cheese. There was definitely cheese. I am also sure the shell was a regular old fried taco shell, just flat. Maybe it changed over the years, but that's how they were back then.
So good to see you Alyssia. You look fantastic. I sometimes use tortillas or pita breads to make crunchy snacks. I sprinkle with dried/powdered stock/bullion. I prefer chicken or veggie but which ever you like. Or I sprinkle with Himalayan salt and black pepper or Native Australian pepper. Bake in a moderate oven on a wire rack for around 5 mins. Cut up into to the shapes you like let cool and they should go crispy (if not crispy when cool put in oven a bit longer). Store in an airtight jar or container. Add as much or as little stock/bullion as you like. They can be used with dips too instead of corn or potato chips.
My son and I were just talking about making these the other day and then ... POOF! This shows up. Crazy! Like how we were talking about trying to make baked oatmeal and then 3 days later you released a video with new baked oatmeals! It's like you're my spirit sister or something. (Same son wants me to shut up about how Taco Bell won't bring back the Taco Light, but they'll keep bringing other stupid stuff out ...)
Have you tried the Taco Bell Mexican Pizza yet?! What was your experience! 😻🌮🍕
Its my favorite item on the menu 😋
I love it but recently they would just throw it into the box so when I saw your video I was like I can do that
I get the vegetarian one with extra pizza sauce. I love it as a sometimes food!
Just in time for the Mexican Pizza to return! I don't even need to try Taco Bell's, this homemade version is so good 🤤
yasssss! thank you!

yes to cheese! From the research I did there is not currently cheese in the middle, only on top... I think they should add it though 😝

Alyssia, your pizza taco looks absolutely beautiful, and so are you, my friend. Have you ever made pumpkin brownies? Just curious.

Not available here (Ontario) and Taco Bell still hasn't re-opened since their Covid-19 closure. This looks doable but what is enchilada sauce?
you can buy it canned! It's made of various chiles and spices with tomatoes, garlic, onions, etc. :)
@@MindOverMunch Hmm haven't seen it, I'll go a tad further afield, hit the next town or two maybe, thanks
I think they use extra thin tortillas.
Yuuum thank you for the recipe
Most welcome 😊
Looks amazing and actually like Taco Bell's Mexican pizza pictured on the menu...unlike Taco Bell's actual Mexican pizza they cram into your bag! lol
LOL!!
You need to add water to the meat to make it like toco bell with out drying out the meat.
Okay... thanks for kicking out the need for fast food!
