Was dealing with the same problem in my first rides. Figured I should position my feet on my toes and point my knee downward, instead of 90° angle. That solved it and improved my grip.
Yeah I did this too, but on anything over a few minutes, it rolled my balls underneath me 😂😱👌 Maybe I needed to work out in the gym a bit more so that I could hol dmyself in that position longer.
How was your experience having this as your first bike? Any regrets? Would you recommend to someone else as a first bike? What are the challenges or things you had to get used to?
Hey ! I'm thinking bout getting it as my first bike (legally on my name) . My dad has a 32 bhp bobber which niw feels powerless . Being an Indian this bike is an exotic here, I just wanna know is it trustable enough coz my dad would kill me if this will cost a fortune . Thanks for the review! And does the 2015 model have abs?
If budget is a consideration, I would choose a Japanese bike for your first bike. Something malfunctions/breaks on your Ducati, you pay a premium and if it's an engine related thing, that's very expensive. Some Monsters have gremlins that are very very hard to locate. Perfect first bike? In budget order: Yamaha XV250, Kawasaki Ninja 300, Yamaha MT07, Ninja/Z 400
Hey, what a nice review. How tall you are? The only thing with Monsters for me is the ergo and crumped seating position. I have 6 foot 1 and long inseam and I am just too tall for older 620 model. Is 769 better for this height?
This review scared me a little bit but I actually LOVE the seat and the riding position. It's very "passionate." You are shoved against that tank in a very sensual way. With the heat and vibration and Italian growl, it is such an experience.
So imma start on this bike in 35KW mode and once i am 24 ill get it of to original state. Whats your oppinion on it? Also i am worried about the maintainance cost is it really that much compared to a yamaha mt07 or likewise.
Hey Felix. My opinion is in the video. 😃😃😃 But yeah, great bike and probably is not a bad one to learn on. I wouldn't get one to commute. Maintenance on any newer bike these days is very similar (here in Australia anyway). Good luck with it!!!
I don't understand why do you need to change an exhaust system if it's so loud for me. I'm worried when I start up an engine to do not distrusted my lovely neighbourhoods every morning. Despite the fact that it calls a MONSTER
ABS is really safe angel for dumb first season bikers, because when I saw Cops in front of me at 155km/h I just push brakes hard as I can, so this system dons't let me make roll over in the place.
Yes that may fix the problem....but at the same time, look at that angle...not sure if any seat shape that would work on this bike would eliminate the problem.
Easily fixed with a Sargent seat. I still have my 2012 and it still gets looks! And it is very comfortable for a sport bike
Love how super chill u are in explaining how u feel about the ducati. Thumbs up
lol thx

I have this as my first bike. Put 7k km on it in the past 5 months. I got used to gripping the tank to stop rolling forward. Also tank grips help

Hey am about to purchase one from 2011 , how long you had this bike ? Overall were you happy with it ? Reliability wise ?
Please
Reliability, no worries. That seat? For me? No

Yes, I'm pretty sure anything past 2010 has ABS.

I would say better, but probably still not good, if that makes sense.
I’m 178cm…5’10

Whereas, my balls are shoved underneath me and it's "excursiating" 😂
@@VroomBroomZoom your balls will be vibrating because the intention is to give u a se*ual experience.
Very useful review! Since I’m trying to decide between an older Monster 620 and a 696, it was great they you compared the 2.
Glad you got something out of it! Which one are you thinking?
Do you still have your 796abs ? Pls let me know
I do not 🙁
Hi. I'm planning to buy 696 monster 2010 model. In terms of maintenance, what can you say to me? Do I've to incur a lot of running maintenance? Thanks
Regarding the seating position, how tall are you ??
Do you comfortable get both feet on the ground when stopped at lights etc ??
Yeah, no problems for me at 178cm. Flat footed it, but only just.
many other seats are available for these
I am aware, but, I didn’t want to spend another $1000.

What year is this model if I may ask. I recomend you to try ducati's cafe racer seat. If it fits right on then problem solved!
2010....bike long gone, but thanks for the advice. 👍
Vroom Broom Zoom , what are u riding now?
@@toddmphoto right now you mean? Well lets see...MAN B&W 6S 60 MC-E TIER II
I pick mine up tomorrow!😁 Was looking at those Acrapovic cans, they're around the £1000 mark over here 😵
You lucky bastard! 😊😊😊 Enjoy every minute. The fake exhaust works fine!

It makes me feel like a man......an angry man.
I bought a red Ducati Monster 796 last week. This week I purchased a cup to help my balls. With great success.
😂😂😂😂
I’m planning to buy a bag of paper cup as well
i just have problems when using tight pants.
Yes that definitely adds to the issue

i like the video info but mannnn cut that damn music !!
Yeah, earlier days of making my this crap
Just get a Corbin seat!

Leave the seat alone. Just cut back on the doughnuts
😂😂😂👌👌👌
