This info is great but I think I am screwed.. I recently took delivery of a 21 Elantra SEL with the wireless carplay.. The dealership did all the firmware and software updates before turning it over to me and now my engineering mode needs like 8 digits to get into it. I tried a few things with the date and the vin but now it says (2 failed attempts) when I try to login so I am afraid I will brick the head unit if I try again.. Unless anyone out there has figured out what the newest (CN7.USA.D2V.003.200.240318) firmware password is. I am S O L for ever getting this trick to work. I tried to google it and ended up here so I guess no one has figured it out. :/

One of my mirrors was way too loose to use safely, so I'm temporarily replacing both with shorter square mirrors. I appreciate the visualization, and I may get a different shape that also clips to the bars directly x)

they work good on my cruiser. the problem is the bracket broke when i used a heavy tarp to cover my bike. so i bought anothe mirror with aluminum bracket, but i still use this mirror. i like the shape and it give a very good view

Thanks it worked. Main thing is safety when you are pulling, moving the spring and removing the screw driver. Spring can fly like rocket and do serious damage.

I just got one. First big bike. Same colour and year but Mines the s with a little more fairing and two lights. Torque is SO fun. I do agree with the engine gearing, I've started resting my my first lightly on the rear just to engage the rear brake, It does slow down quick without brakes. Just on the ride home from buying it it filled me with confidence (good thing?). I overtook my lift to buy it on the way home and touched 80mph without realising 😍

Thank you VERY MUCH for this video! This worked on my 2022 Kona SEL here in the US. I struggled getting into "Engineering Mode", but I eventually got there and it worked. I was originally in CPU0 and swapped over to CPU1. FYI, when I was struggling to get into Engineering Mode, I read where the car needed to be on "FM" and set to volume "2". I did that and still had struggles, but got in on the 6th or 7th attempt, so I don't know if the "FM & Vol 2" helped or not. But thank you for the video as that is a key feature for my teenage daughter. Almost returned the vehicle bacause of that issue.

Sir… you are an absolute legend and a statue shall be erected in your honour… I’ve been pulling my hair out and banging my head against the wall with the “wireless CarPlay” for 2 years, Hyundai refuses to help on the issue and claims it’s fixed by a “software update” (or by paying $100s for “diagnostics”). Just tried this fix and it works PERFECTLY!! To hell with wireless, I’ll go wired all the way - I can’t tell you how many times wireless has crapped out on me during long drives, leaving me stranded with no GPS. Thank you once again, you are a gentleman and a scholar - cheers from another friend down under 🇦🇺

Goggles4u are very impressive, used them foe 4 years now, have about 10 pairs normally less than £20 with the offers. super light, I love them. And at that price you can experiment.

If you’re here looking for info to remove a VF wagons taillight there are two clips on the outer left (if doing left side taillight) Definately grab a socket set as well for the 3 long plastics nuts you have to remove on the inside of the boot. Those clips are a bugger…(i gave the 2 lower steel pins - theres 3 - a firm hit with a hammer and the assembly came out pretty easy in the end) Thanks for your vid, the old cars Im used to were so much easier to work on… (HD to Hz)…

I owned this exact bike, colour n all. I changed out the exhaust and it gave it a real growl, could be heard coming from a fair way. One twist on the throttle and I was away. Everything about this bike was awesome to me, and I rode it pretty hard n fast. Regret selling her :(

The wobbly parts can be screwed tight. My issue is with my AliExpress hydraulic clutch lever. Though fully tuned, it doesn't compress the hydraulic drum fully, so the gear remains engaged ever so slightly. The brake however is perfect. The feel, the function.
