This truck is a knock off of this Tamiya Bruiser, which first came out in 1985! and still is available in an improved version: www.tamiya.de/...
It is more or less identical and most spare parts should fit. So it’s your decision, if you want to pay around 800 bucks for the original or not…

I saw this model on Banggood, and saw your build series. It's probably the most expensive thing I've seen on BG (with wheels, anyway), so I was curious about the quality. Thanks for putting this series on the P407 together, I may have to pick one up as an FPV beach cruiser.
LOL! Yes, it was a little joke. No, there are way more expensive rigs on BG. This one is relatively cheap. The quality is more or less the same as TAMIYA, but especially the transmission needs a bit of rework and adjustments as you can see in my other videos.

I can get one of these no controller or esc but that's fine I have many extra. I have 28 rc cars but not one crawler. Is $200 ok for this?

Which is best between hgp407or rgt86100 please
I don't have the rgt86100. So I don't know, but I think the rgt86100 is a modern design, while the HG-P407 is based on a vintage 80ies Tamiya design.
