      @@BrateTebra123 well gt line comes with leather sport seats, touch controlled inner lights, changeable inner leds, 3D Cockpit, a wonderful big navigation screen with android/iOS integrated, eco/normal/sport mods (and on sport mode you hear the engine roaring), adaptive cruise control (you set it it breaks and sets speeds automatically according to the car in front of youon the road you only steer), cruise correction (car automatically aligns to you to the lane if you happen to sleep and it gives warnings), you can set your cockpit the way you want. Blind spot warnings, if you buy the white color it comes as pearl shining white.With all those whistles and bells a BWM1 cost 10-15 thousands more then this auto. Yes for this price it is far better. Believe me the people in other cars break and look this auto on the road while near me. This car is wonderful. I can’t deny a full accessory bmw or Mercedes ofc they are superior but the price you are gonna pay will be much higher. This car has almost build quality of a German car, make a test drive with a gt line you will see.

I’m pretty sure that nobody in designing process has in mind such a minority when it comes to that segment of the cars. This car is the best car in the segment and it killls easily any German competition. That’s why it became the Car of the Year 2020. Title well deserved without any doubt.

    Hello. I have a question about a car purchase. And I thought maybe you guys at autogefühl could answer that question, but I don’t know if this is a good place to ask it, I don’t know if you read the comments here.
    Anyway. I have unfortunately damaged my ears and got tinnitus. I need to buy a new car and the first priority I have are that it should be as quiet as it could be. I’m living in Sweden so we have very rough asphalt here. I think I have to go with maximum 17inch wheels without any sport package but I wonder which model do you think it’s the best I could test drive if I have around 40.000 euros to spend? It doesn’t matter if it’s used or new but I don’t want a super old car. Thank you if you see this and answer my question you are the best car channel on TH-cam.

    • @autogefuehl
      @autogefuehl  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks Anders all I wish you all the best to get better! I heard meditation is supposed to work very well for your issue. So for more quietness I think you have to go one segment above, e.g. a VW Golf. And depending on your commuting way length, maybe even EV will make sense? Buy a used VW e-Golf maybe if the range is enough?

    • @autogefuehl
      @autogefuehl  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Or if you wanna go SUV, go for a Tiguan, that one is also pretty silent for an SUV. Not about the Swedish prices though, for 40 k in Germany you can easily get something quite fancy, taxes in Sweden are higher though

    • @andersekbladh8084
      @andersekbladh8084 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Autogefühl thank you for answering. Yes I will try meditation and wanted to try acupuncture too, thank for the tips.
      An E-Golf would be great but I think it has to short range for me when I travel to work and back.
      I will try a Tiguan and see. I don’t have any specific requirements more than a silent car so if I drive a big sedan or a suv doesn’t matter to me.
      I have tried a V60 d4 with 18 inch rims but that sounded a bit to much for me. Have tried the S60 too but it had R-design with 19 inch so that was a lot of road noise.
      This week I wanted to try a E-klass 220d sedan, and for your recommendation a Tiguan.
      If you have time to answer and can think of more models I need to try I’m very happy for all your help.

    "animal free leather" lets call that plastic and rubber then

    • @autogefuehl
      @autogefuehl  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you very much for your interest in this topic. As a start, please tune in to what the animal leather industry tried to do here with our channel: th-cam.com/video/nP_CvLlaFlI/w-d-xo.html
      In general, depending on the animal skin grade, the animals are specifically raised for this matter. However even if meat would be the reason no.1 in other cases, the hide remains one of the most profitable body parts. That means: If manufacturers put animal leather in a car and you accept it as a customer, you give your money to an industry that earns money by oppressing humans, animals and destroys the environment, you make them more profitable. Also, if you turn the argument around "meat is the waste of the leather industry" you realize how biased the argument is. After all, would you care for which exact body part you would be murdered? Or imagine someone robs you on the street and beats you to death - would it matter to you if it was for your Smartphone or for your purse?
      The animal agriculture industry occupies 2/3 of all farm land on this planet which cannot be used for direct human nutrition then. That is extremely inefficient. The no.1 cause for deforestation is the animal industry. It is also one of the biggest contributor to climate change. The amount of land, resources, energy and water being used is beyond imagination.
      For the alternative, you can either use artificial fabrics which can be made from recyclables (we have already shown a lot of vehicles that use great fabric seats from PET-bottles etc.) or more and more also from plant-based materials (like Pinatex). And even if you would create a seat completely with petroleum without a recycling share, the amount of oil being used for that is nothing in comparing just to once fueling up your car.
      In practical reasons, fabric or microfibre seats are just more useful. You do not sweat in summer and it is not cold in winter. And if you want the slick look or something to wipe clean easier, that is possible with animal free leatherette.
      Using animal skin on seats is a major issue of animal rights, human rights - and after all it is just common sense what is better both for the environment and just more practical and more luxurious for the customer. We cannot change what we have bought in the past (that also counts for ourselves of course!), but with more information and compassion we can change how we decide in the future.
