    Sad to see so much hate on this video! People should be encouraging each other to eat healthier- even small steps make a difference!

    you completely missed the point by leaving out key ingredients- you cant substitute canned products for the real thing -

      I am doing this now, couldn't get the almond butter in time so used peanut butter instead - I hope that'll do - any advice?

      Great Video! Excuse me for the intrusion, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Taparton Complete Cleanse Takeover (do a google search)? It is an awesome exclusive product for discovering a really effective health cleanse minus the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin at last got amazing success with it.

    The cleanse really works. Must have good blender or you must chop. If all items are purchased - its closer to $33 a day. My wife and I had a grocery bill of $200. This includes organics and ingredients for the snack shake which is extra. Will change your life and should be considered when starting a "diet" as it removes your cravings for sweets as you actually crave the smoothies. Try and complete atleast once a year.

    Hi Katie! Yes- it is an Oster 20oz. Personal Blender. It's only about $20 and you can find it at Target. It comes with one bottle, but I bought a second one. Hope you buy it and give the cleanse a try!

    The almonds (butter) also walnuts are in the diet because it's extremely high in antioxidants.
    The green tea is advised because it is high in antioxidants as well .
    However Earl Grey tea is higher and Hibiscus tea higher yet.
    {All of the common cooking herbs are of the highest antioxidant foods ; Oregano,Basil,Parsley,Sage etc.}

    Coconut milk instead of oil.... pineaple juice (pure sugar) instead of whole pineapple? lol. In my case I didn't have almond butter because here it is $13 for a small jar. I just used Coconut Oil instead. You need the fats for nutrient absorption, that is why they all contain fat, be it almond butter, coconut oil or avocado. I also added a ton more spinach and kale, the amount in these were just to low and they are more berry smoothies instead of green.

    I didn't put the Stevia in the green tea, but I did add it to the lunch shake, which made it taste so much better. Use the liquid Stevia, if you can find it (Trader Joes has it), and add only a few drops at a time, as it is highly concentrated.

    I'm sorry but I can't believe how stupid this review is.... You thought you'd help your body this way? With canned pineapple? And bottled lemon juice? Why.. cause it looks like a real lemon? What is a review of something worth, when you are reviewing something else?? I really don't get it.

    Hi there :) yes you should give it a try! Everyone is different, but I felt pretty good throughout it- never felt nauseous or sick. It's all "real foods" so I think that makes a big difference compared to other cleanses. I did get full surprisingly quick at first, but as my body got used to the shakes... I could handle more. (My biggest side effect was a bit of a headache throughout Day 1.) give it a try and let me know how you are making out!! Good luck!

    Do you critics ever get nose bleeds from the altitude where you sit? How rude and could you be more critical??? I am certain that you can. Shame on you hateful people. If you don't agree move on and do your cleanse your way. Quite frankly who has $40 to spend on 9 meals? I don't so I would have to cut corners too but, at least moving in a positive direction.

    Hi Erika,
    I am wanting to try this cleanse and wanted to know if the bath part is necessary? Does it have any real benefits, or is it just for relaxation? My apartment only has a shower, so I wont be able to do that aspect of the cleanse. Thanks

    I'm on my second day today, waiting fir dinner. after day one, I lost almost 3lbs andmy belly reduced since I had easter dinner. I really don't like the lunch smoothie, too greeny and taste awful. dinner is just fine. but hey! tomorrow is my last day.

    Hi Katie, you video really helped, I'm wondering what are the snacks we supposed to have in between the meals or what is considered your favorite drink. For me it is coffee once a day, lol!

    • @claudiad7671
      @claudiad7671 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The "favorite drink" is one of the shakes like breakfast shake, lunch shake or dinner shake :)

    • @ErikaWachter
      @ErikaWachter 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Tonya, I hope the cleanse went well for you. As Claudia mentioned, the snack is one of the three shakes (breakfast, lunch or dinner.) You get to have one more- making it four total. Even though it's hard, try not to drink the coffee :) I'm sure another cup of green tea would be alright.

    I'm going to give it a try. How often would you recommend doing this cleanse? Once a month?

    • @ErikaWachter
      @ErikaWachter 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! I would recommend doing it once every couple of months. After I did the cleanse, my eating habits really changed- you will be surprised at how often you include these foods in your daily life, and lose the taste for the foods that are not good for you. Since you'll be eating less bad food- you will have less toxins in your body. This cleanse reboots your system. So, if you eat bad a few weekends- try it again to reset your body. Good luck!

    I'm on day 2 and needed a little encouragement! It's definitely hard to not eat "real" food. My favorite drink is the lunch drink!

    • @ErikaWachter
      @ErikaWachter 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it is definitely tough but just keep focused because you will be happy with the end results. Wow! Not too many people like the lunch drink the best! That's awesome :) Keep it up- you are halfway done!! Only 4 more drinks to go!

  • @NatalieVanHook
    @NatalieVanHook 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    She was supposed to add 1 cup of pineapple to the second shake, not just juice. Also, Dr. Oz said to leave the skin on the cucumber. Simple directions to follow, so dislike. BTW, second shake tastes like grass.

  • @auntywills4006
    @auntywills4006 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Erika! I think you did what you could with what you had. I actually used peanut butter and it tasted great. I love the breakfast smoothie. It's my fave. I'm not a fan of the lunch smoothie because of the texture but it tastes decent. The dinner smoothie has a spicy kick. I think I'm going to reduce the cayenne amount in half. I saw someone put ice in it to thin it out. I may try that as well. Thanks for the video. Keep doing what you do!

    Great video! I just started today with my husband and yes the lunch is not our favorite. I can't get past the coconut oil taste. And he is not a greens person. We just both keep craving Cheetos!!! LOL!

    I don't think you really tried the Dr. Oz cleanse, I think you tried the Erika cleanse. Lemon juice out of a plastic lemon is not the same as fresh squeezed lemon juice with all its antioxidants and benefits. Coconut flavored almond milk is not the same as coconut oil. Google it. Skipping the almond butter because you think it's just there for flavor? Not too bright. I'm no expert but anyone that knows anything about nutrition knows that almonds are nutritionally fantastic so if you were going to skip the almond butter you should have at least thrown in some whole almonds to make up for it. And canned Dole pineapple juice instead of fresh pineapple? Kind of defeats the whole concept of detox when you use processed foods, sorry. I look forward to you doing another video where you do the actual Dr. Oz cleanse instead of some version you tweaked. I bet you could find a video of him or one of his guests describing his version or they tell the actual reasons behind each ingredient they add to it. It would be a good learning experience for you to find out about it before you pretend to know about it. Thank you for motivating the rest of us to become educated before we try to educate others!

      +mothershelper1981 Seriously, I've been looking into cleansing and all these reviews/people trying certain cleanses aren't even using the right ingredients. Kind of annoying considering they are making videos on it.

      I did everything the right way except the coconut water and oil because I am allergic. I did substitue the coconut water for Birch water and the oil for Avocado Oil. Felt terrific afterwards

    Hey folks, when you don't have a lot of money, you make do with what you have. I'm a single lady, who cannot afford an expensive juicer or blender. I make do with a nutribullet that I bought on sale. I make do with veggies and fruits that are not organic, but the best quality I can afford. I'm a poor person, but I try to eat as healthy as my limited budget will allow. If you can afford the best, more power to you. But don't criticize this lady simply because she's can't. Rich, poor or somewhere in the middle-let's just be nice to each other.

      Oh no! John, I'm sorry to hear that! Did you try the lunch shake yet? It is definitely very strong with the cucumber and celery. I did a little less celery on the 2nd and 3rd days. I hope that went better for you. Your body will thank you for it later- so just try your best! You can do it :)
