  • Interpreting SIBO results is very important. It is very crucial as it helps determine the type of SIBO you have. But what if you have a flatline result? How can you know if it is a true flatline?

I just had a flat line triosmart test and was told it was just a negative test. Wasn’t told there was any significance to the flat line, but I thought it was weird because methane was actually 0.0 the whole test.

I got that result from my AIRE 2 device when I consumed just lactolose 10 ml, there was a small increase 20 mins after drinking it but it had dropped back to the baseline reading half an hour later, didn't see any increase after 90 minutes either, with the device its possible to test over 3 hours of course. Previously after eating various foods I saw high and moderate readings, typically for hydrogen, sometimes also there was methane. I like that this device exists although for me it hasn't been diagnostic of anything specific yet.

Love your content! I know on gastrointestinal health you have an unlimited amount of material. As your channel is evolving, I think it should be soon time to invest on TH-cam staples like a quick splash intro and the "like, subscribe and hit the bell" early on maybe?....I know its kinda showy but the reminder helps people discovering your content when they surf channels. Also squeeze in your Patreon to talk about your research projects early on. Thanks for your content. Top notch stuff!

Thank you Interesting American 😂 Btw, what is your first name so I know how to address you? It feels awkward to call you Interesting American.
Those are good points that I'll try to incorporate. It's funny, I get so into nerd mode that I forget to do any sort of self promotion. I have to put a sticky note under my camera when it's approaching FODMAP Freedom enrollment season, otherwise I forget to mention it 😅 bahahaha
I plan to start mentioning the new Patreon as soon as FODMAP Freedom enrollment has closed. I don't want to confuse people with too many things to do, so I figure that one can wait a month.

How do you treat low Iga and sibo, but negative for celiac.

Could sibo cause minor clubbing of the fingers since it can cause malabsorption?

Can a true flatline (ALL zeroes for H2 and CH4) occur for someone that is negative for H2S? How likely would that be to occur?

Hello! Do you have any resources or knowledge at hand that relates cognition/brain fog to a disrupted microbiome? Any recommendations for supplementation?

My gastrointestinal doctor said I had a positive sibo test for Hydrogen gas when my test peaked at 120 minutes at 29 ppm....

@@gutmicrobiomequeen For sure! It was frustrating for a long time because I kept treating the dysbiosis as if I had SIBO, so now I'm at square 1 trying to heal whatever this is :/
