7:55 While I highly doubt it was intentional, removing the mask in this scene is a really smart move. I believe wearing a latex mask underwater (or under heavy rain) would cause you to waterboard yourself.
I think you mean spandex. Freudian slip. Great point about the mask, though. I guess Spider-Man's weakness is water. If the Overseer had a mask that covered his face, his weakness would make sense.
A movie doesn't have to explain everything. The audience is smart enough to know what's happening without it holding your hand. It is implied that the serum enhanced his senses.
Ultra Force I realize, but in that case, are we supposed to assume Parker in't smart, because he doesn't realize that Osbourne has senses that are not human, whilst we (regular humans/non-superheroes) do realize this?
I must say though that Williem Dafoe played his part SO well in this movie I just loved watching him. His villainous laugh, his two-facedness and even his insane monologue scenes were so entertaining. Not as good as Heath Ledger's performance but definitely somewhere up there - far better than any other Spiderman villain i've seen.

You forgot 2 at 7:42. 1. "I was just in the neighborhood" cliche 2. Spider-man and Peter Parker say the exact same cliche thing to Mary Jane in a span of 2 minutes in the same voice and she still didn't realize who he was.
Actually, no special effects were used to make that scene where Mary Jane slips and Peter catches everything. That was all Tobey. The only thing that was used was a little bit of glue on Tobey's hand to stick the tray on. *Sin counter ding*
Here is a fun fact! Spider-Man's 6th sense, the Spider Sense, is able to trick Peter. It will only warn him for danger only if Peter thinks he's in danger. Otherwise, it won't work. A great example is the scene where Green Goblin attacks The Daily Bugle for information. Peter didn't get the signal since he didn't consider himself in danger.
Its not only if he thinks he is in danger for example if you were to run up behind him with a knife he would most likely dodge and kick you in the face
Ömer Yavuz actually its quite the opposite if you run up behind him he wouldnt think he was in danger but his spider sense would tell him to move out the way
that's interesting but...how would you explain his spider-sense functioning in Spiderman2 when DocOc threw a car at him from behind, at the cafe? He was casually having coffee with MJ and thre was no sign of danger, it was just like The Green Goblin waltzing into the Bugle. And to add on that, it was when he was sick of being Spidey, so that should've made it harder for any of his SPidey powers to work....no?
Great question! I can't say that I know the answer to that but however I can imagine why that happened. He was talking to Mary Jane about their relationship and most of us already know that a talk about the relationship can make a person anxious, mad, nervous, etc. That is enough feelings for Peter to sense the Spider-Sense. This is obviously my theory.
you forgotted one little sin: In the beginning of the movie, when peter talks with norman, you can see a red-haired girl walking in circles in the background

2:37 I mean considering that, that was all Tobey Maguire and no special effects it shouldn't be sin
Still a sin
+Nic Saunders because why?
King Gio because it also looks fake.
That's a sin against actual physics then, not movie physics.
Espurr Roba dude that is the dumbest thing I ever heard (no offense)
"Marry Jane is in some kind of danger" cliche´ :D
The building is burning cliche' :D
New Yorkers band together in a crisis cliche' :D
“100th like” cliche :D
Why should I *marry* "Jane" and why is that even a cliche?
Because THATS gonna be used anywhere else other than Spider-Man movies.
Anyone else notice that at the end of the video where it shows the sin tally, the picture of Spider-Man that it shows has Doctor Octopus's reflection in Spider-Man's eyes, even though this video is sinning the first movie, not the second one.
Lol, I was just about to say something about that to.

ShadowManEnigma me too
I actually for some reason thought that they would have changed that by now

Look at his eyes.
+Dan Skelton Damn. Good eyes mate

Noticed that too lol
lucas tatlock but they've been sinned before by people in the comments section so guess what I'm adding one more sin, ding.
+Dan Skelton "Laws of Motion" LMFAO I would love to hear Mr. "There's no gravity in space" explain any kind of physical laws to us.
The image at the end is from Spider-Man 2, not the first movie.
Indeed, and I noticed because I saw doc oc in his lens
NOOO?!

2:45 that scene is real FYI. no movie wizardry was involved in that scene.
+Oscar Kirk no, they used tape/glue on peters hand.
No guys, he's right, they actually did that scene as many times as they had to before he caught everything. Look it up!
ya they mention it in the audio commentary of the dvd
7:55 While I highly doubt it was intentional, removing the mask in this scene is a really smart move. I believe wearing a latex mask underwater (or under heavy rain) would cause you to waterboard yourself.
I think you mean spandex. Freudian slip. Great point about the mask, though. I guess Spider-Man's weakness is water. If the Overseer had a mask that covered his face, his weakness would make sense.
What about the fact that the drop of blood was huge, but even large drops of blood are damn near impossible to hear.
The serum probably enhanced his senses.
OTDinosaur Scrubs Ah, true
They could've explained
A movie doesn't have to explain everything. The audience is smart enough to know what's happening without it holding your hand. It is implied that the serum enhanced his senses.
Ultra Force I realize, but in that case, are we supposed to assume Parker in't smart, because he doesn't realize that Osbourne has senses that are not human, whilst we (regular humans/non-superheroes) do realize this?
+OTDinosaur Scrubs Exactly what I thought.
8:45 i would have gave 100 sins for peter calling him “gobby”
Screw you!! "Gobby" is one of the things that people - My Good self most of all - appreciate about Spidey!!
@@Alysa-Aiday I'd take OUT several sins for Gobby
NickieB true
@@nickieb2636 agreed he’s supposed to be snarky
It sounds like a very British insult. You puffed me fuzzlebits, ya gobby.
Yeh he was great
Q: Why is Spider-Man such a good baseball player?
A: He knows how to catch flies.
#25 Toby McGuire really did catch all that food on the tray, no cgi or anything...just about 20 takes for them to get it right :)
Lol it wasn't 20 takes, It was much more. They said it took 156 takes to get that right.

Oh I feel he missed the "Villain kills himself at the end so the good guy can stay good cliche".
Sin off for getting macho Man Randy Savage in the movie
Yesss
2:39 actually that bit is real, it has been discussed in a lot of interviews that tobey made several takes until the objects in the tray all landed perfectly, the only trick here is that the tray was glued to tobey's hand.
3:35... guess the guy at 3:02 is invisible for cinemasins guy.
Also, we can clearly see a sticker under the apple.
And considering Peter's powers, the tray being glued to his hand probably happened in-universe too.
Sin on Cinemasins for using a picture of Spider-Man 2 at the end *ding*
"Peter remembers this wrong"... because everyones memory after a traumatic experience is 100% accurate...the fact he remembered it wrong is realistic.
Plus, it's meant to be for dramatic effect, not an accurate representation.
theoriginalshew i would argue that a traumatic event could help you remember thing easier, but ive got my logic from Scarecrow in Batman Arkham Knight
theoriginalshew r u stupid? In a movie standpoint that doesn't factor in. In real life sure it could happen. But the movie showed a scene that was completely different than what actually happened. So it was wrong. Jesus man the ignorance
Blackie Chan you are a fucking moron. It's not wrong at all. The scene was the exact same with minor differencies.
Getting upset over a sin on this movie channel?
*ding*
Oh damn, this is just absolutely amazing! The DC comics thing was BRILLIANT and I loved the Mission Impossible reference at the end :) Awesome job!
Why is this not surprising coming from you Batman? Hmm?

that one shot when Peter caught all the food that flew off the tray was real! They tryed it like a dozen times and it worked!
that's simply impossible, unless you say where you learned it and proof
I will still say
this movie didn't even physics
+Justin Newby i hope your not kidding cuz that would be awesome.
+Joseph Farnham They glued his hand to the tray or something like that.
+Joseph Farnham Glueing his hand to the tray isn't cheating either because spidey can grip to stuff real good. props for dedication to not use cgi. always loved that scene

You forgot 2 at 7:42.
1. "I was just in the neighborhood" cliche
2. Spider-man and Peter Parker say the exact same cliche thing to Mary Jane in a span of 2 minutes in the same voice and she still didn't realize who he was.
2:44 that was real no special effects Tobey Maguire talked about having to shoot that scene like 24 times

I agree with cinemasins when he said "Woah! This suddenly turned into the best movie ever!" lol
Well that's pretty much what I just said.
Cop: You Let Him Get Away
Peter: I Missed The Part Where That Is My Problem
you forgotted one little sin: In the beginning of the movie, when peter talks with norman, you can see a red-haired girl walking in circles in the background

CinemaSins, you missed the sin of using a movie poster from Spider-man 2 as your Everything wrong with Spider-man in 11 minutes or less thumbnail.
3:36 there was a teacher and it was the one that spilled his lunch on Flash after he landed near the teacher's feet
CinemaSins: YOU'RE GOIN' NOWHERE! I GOT YOU FOR 11 MINUTES!
That moment when this has more sins than The Amazing Spiderman
I think Macguire's horrible work wit his expressions (which made him quite the human beeing with the largest number of memes with his face) should be at least worth 10 sins. Guy is like a freakin' Mr. Bean.
***** Whats worse is that movie is getting a sequel because SOMEHOW people like it!
***** What? Are you kidding me, have you even read Ultimate Spider-Man? Amazing-Spiderman was based of this and it is infinitely better than this piece of shit.
***** Your opinion is noted but not agreed with, at least not by me.

Hey um, so the spider bit nobody else? DAFAQ, that spider is picky as hell.

The fact that no sins were removed for Willem Dafoe's brilliant acting (especially the mirror bit) is outrageous
This was made before they started removing sins from movies, otherwise the Mary Jane wet t-shirt scene would have earned one too.
