No, I don't think that's right especially for the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man series. Bruce Campbell and all three films was a side character, as he was always meant to be.
I’m pretty sure Sam Raimi admitted that he was just using his favorite villains and not the popular ones, but I don’t see the problem in that. Sure, Venom probably sold more toys than Vulture would’ve, but if you don’t care about the characters you’re writing, then your writing’s gonna suffer. I never agreed with everyone saying that it had too many villains and plotlines. I think the movie was structured well, and the main problem was just that Sam Raimi didn’t know enough or care enough about Venom to do him justice. Still, I find it odd that Sam Raimi wanted to use the villains he liked the most, but somehow ended up using Spider-Man’s four biggest villains (at least in my opinion) in descending order across his three films.
As a Venom fan, I think that Sony should've let Raimi do his Vulture/Sandman story for Spider-Man 3, saving Black Suit Spider-Man/Venom for a fourth or even fifth movie. That way, the director can do his research and naturally come to respect the character naturally instead of the character being a half-assed adaptation. Then they already have Doctor Connors lined up as The Lizard and they could save him for Spider-Man 6.
At least the video games acted on it. I loved the video game trilogy. (Although agains 3 did end up being a downgrade but only due to the swinging mechanics.)
I remember being heartbroken when I heard the news that Spider-man 4 was canceled. I never had faith in a reboot. I knew Raimi made something so special that it couldn't be replicated or improved upon. And it still hasn't been. Spider-man 2 is still up there with The Dark Knight as one of the greatest superhero movies of all time.
A friend of mine had a small role in Spider-Man 2. It was originally a single scene and one line, but he hit it off with Raimi, and his role was slightly expanded. A few years later, we were talking, and he said "Don't tell anyone, but I was asked to be in Spider-Man 4". Raimi liked to use actors who he liked in small roles in his films, and he remembered my friend from SM2. He told me that he was going to do a full-cast table read of the script in a few weeks, and was excited for it. A couple of months later, I saw him again and asked how everything went. He told me "They're rebooting the series with all new actors, and not doing SM4". That was the first I had heard about the reboot, and also one of the factors that left a bad taste in my mouth about those two reboot films.
Hey that’s still awesome for your friend tho! Did he ever get to meet Tobey or was it just Raimi? And did Raimi ever ask him to come back for another movie? (This is a fascinating story for me I you couldn’t tell 😂)
A lot of time, studio heads are that one friend at Game Night who doesn't know how to play the board game, won't listen to the people who know how to play the board game, and then slaps the entire game board off the table and demands a different game when it becomes clear they are losing- only to repeat the process all over again.
I feel like now that we’ve seen Tobey in no way home I want to see a spider man 4 the way raimi originally intended, and potentially see an older spider man deal with his final and biggest villains yet, although idk how they would top doc ock he’s my favourite villain of all time
Having been recently rewatching Spiderman 3 for the first time in 3 years, I'll be honest I think the film is pretty great, and has arguably some of the best moments in the series. The only real issue is that the film is bloated with lots of plotlines which can often lead to some plotlines disappearing for a while before coming back. But aside from that, when the film works DAMN does it work. It's great to see how Peter, who was being beaten down thoughout movie 2, now has the opposite problem where his soaring success and personal overconfidence is his new hamartia. It leads to such an interesting struggle that affects his relationship with MJ in a complex and compelling way and also his career as Spiderman in a corrupted way.
@@Bulletsandblockbusters It's definitely got a more somber ending than the first two films, but I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. But hey, that's just me.
As much as it kills me Raimi never got to make another Spidey, I'm glad he understood the 4th film wasn't coming together like he wanted and walked away. After Spider-Man 3, I couldn't handle yet MORE Peter and MJ drama. The trilogy almost flirts with making them too unlikeable together as is, if they broke it off in the 4th film so Peter could pursue Felicia, it would have been a bridge too far imo. I like how the third one ends on a bittersweet, quiet moment of healing. Having that come undone in the next one would have been awful.
I'd like to be added onto the list, of those who want to see Sam Raimi make Spiderman 4 with Tobey and Kirsten. I can understand why Mr Raimi didn't like the script; the story had another love interest, much like Gwen from Spiderman 3. Yes, Felicia would've had more screen time than Gwen, but wouldn't it be great to end the franchise with Peter and MJ finally having a stable relationship? We only got a little bit of that with just Peter B. Parker.
Man, if that's the movie then I'm lowkey glad it didn't happen. Tobey's Spider-Man losing to Vulture, accidentally killing him, then Felicia Hardy becomes Vulture to defeat and spare Spider-Man? Also, no J. Jonah Jameson? What? Nah, I'm good. But it would've been nice to see him arrest Shocker, Rhyno, Prowler, and Mysterio.
They could still make Spider-man 4 with an older Toby and Kirsten now parents and Spider-man now retired. But then a Villain(s) bring him back into the suit. Then at the end when the villains are defeated we get a hint that there is a greater villain in the background that needs the whole Spider-verse team to fight them.
I think Spider-Man 3 is the most underrated Spider-Man film. I don’t blame Sam Raimi for the way Spider-Man 3 turing out the way it did it was studio interference from Sony and Avi Arad. I hope one day Sam Raimi will make Spider-Man 4 with Tobey Maguire returning as Spider-Man
Naw fr why haven’t they got him in a movie cs he can spiderman some problems and what about kingpin why haven’t they put him in a movie already they missing some big name villains or like catwoman she could’ve been cool in 3 and that would’ve been interesting cs tobey turned into a bully and catwoman would have changed him they could’ve did so much more but hopefully In marvel phase 6 or 7 they have them
I bet you everything I have to my name that Venom in No Way Home was a "Gotcha!" moment aimed at Avi Arad for shoehorning the character into everything.
I thought I heard rumors that Spider-Man 4 was going to have Carnage in it. Or originally Peter was going to get rid of the black suit at the end of 3 and then in 4 Venom was the villain.
You know I think a lot studios dropped the ball with superhero characters like spider-man and the tim burton Superman film, which we kind got in the flash but we need a film animation or live action, but with spider-man the wrongs can be righted easily now thanks to the multiverse.
Both Raimi and the studio are at fault here in their own ways. The bigger issue is just the obvious lack of planning and I remember even seeing the very first one and thinking that if they are killing off the Green Goblin in the first movie, and they killed Ock in the second, then they are making the same fundamental mistake as the Burton / Schumacher Batman films by making the films focus too much on the spectacle of a new villain for each movie, something that always leads to diminishing returns because you are using the most interesting villains first. To be frank, Venom and Lizard are conceptually better villains than Sandman, Vulture and Harry Osborn, so I can see the wisdom of the studio there; at the same time, they clearly not only meddled, but meddled in the worst way by wanting Raimi to do both his version and theirs at the same time. Though I never liked the "multiple villains" complaint about Spider-Man 3- the 90s cartoon's take on the Venom story had Kingpin, Shocker, Rhino, Smythe and Venom and that was way better than any of these movies; the issue was too many sub-plots and that those plots and villains didn't gel together so well. I actually do think that John Malkovitch could have been great as the Vulture, but the story always sounded weak and despite any protests that might have been set off, having one or two other villains for him to play off of probably would have made more sense. Frankly a story involving both Vulture and Lizard might possibly have worked better. Also, from that script, it sounds like Mary-Jane is an afterthought.
I would have preferred “Lizard and Kraven” , basically adapting Kraven’s Last Hunt where the Lizard is in the role of Vermin, and Spidey must protect his mentor from the Hunter.
@@lyndoncmp5751 Sandman was a better character yes, but that's because Raimi didn't "get" the character of Venom (and fumbled Harry Osborn). From a story perspective though, Sandman added nothing except a rehash and retcon of Uncle Ben's death. Both Harry and Venom are far more relevant to the overall plot than he was, and he's got nothing to do with anything set up in the previous movies the way both Harry and Curt Connors were. Nobody who watched Spider-Man 2 finished the movie and said "Can't wait for the Sandman!"
@@jonathancampbell5231agreed. To me, Sandman was the least interesting of the three villains. His connection to Peter felt very forced. The movie would've benefited if Harry was the only villain in the movie and Peter got the symbiote. Then after the final fight and Harry died, Peter would let go of the symbiote, and it would attach itself to Brock in the post credit scene setting up spiderman 4
I agree it was mistake for Sam Raimi to kill of those villains. But what I like about the MCU is the multiverse so they were able to correct that mistake and bring them back and reuse them in a way that was not cheap and had them return on this epic way. Spider-Man: No Way Home retroactively corrects the errors of the Tobey McGuire and Andrew Garfield movies.
Bringing on Felicia Hardy and then NOT have her be Black Cat but some other character made up just for this movie would have been a straight slap in the face to Spider-Man fans.
Yeah that part ruined it big time. Already was not feeling it with MJ being gone either at the start after everything they went through in spiderman 3 and got back together.
The Spider-Man 4 that we have through the concept art wouldn't have been great just because of the further split between Peter and MJ. Had we gotten Sam's Spider-Man 3 the relationship might have come off as less toxic and maybe they could have figured things out better. I would love it if Sam came back and did something involving Spider-Girl since that story has more in common with how Raimi does Spider-Man stories and it would fit perfectly with Tobey and Kirsten's ages.
Spider-Man 3 is actually a great film. I don't think the vulture would have fit the overall theme of the film which is forgiveness is more powerful than revenge. Yes, it has it's cheesy moments but we get a satisfying conclusion to Tobey Maguire's Spider-man story. Harry and Peter forgive each other, Peter forgives the sandman, and Peter and Mary Jane's relationship is left up in the air. Again, it has its moments of being silly or over the top but is definitely a satisfying conclusion. A fourth film would have run the risk of undoing the feeling that the story had ended for audiences.
It's not a great film. Enough with the hyperbole. It's something that could have been entertaining if it were more restrained with everything they were trying to do, and the elimination of some god-awful characterization. That's about as far as it goes. To think it's as good as one of the first two films is laughable.
They could have been printing money just making these for another decade. There’s so many villains and team ups they could have easily done a few sequels past 3. And everyone would have seen 4 onward easily.
Sam Raimi makes two great Spider-Man films and then Sony interferes with too many villains for #3. Marc Webb makes a good reboot and then Sony interferes with too many villains for the sequel. They lend Marvel Studios the rights, they make two great films and then they make a third with all the villains possible, but yet make it work perfectly with a great plot and storyline. Sony somehow screwed up twice and had Marvel Studios clean up their mess.
I'm with Sam, not exactly sure what I think of the story beats here either It makes no sense to me why Peter would suddenly jump ship in him and Mary Jane's relationship, Spider-Man 3 already tackled their instability as people and now they should be smooth sailing. The Vulture seems like a cool antagonist, I think Vulture could be still compelling in a fourth installment, given his stories' themes of aging and mortality. Kraven too, who's been discussed by Sam relatively recently.
But you just explained why Sam Raimi was so unhappy with the script and not to mention with the final film itself. He loves Spider-Man No Way Home from what I understand, and probably because it gave his characters a better send off than he was able to give them. It's kind of an impressive feat that that movie manages to not only be the MCU Spider-Man 3 but to also be The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and Spider-Man 4 all in the same movie
Wow this is quite interesting and yes if Raimi made this movie and Felicia Hardy was in it I would’ve loved to see it too! Also I love his Vulture pitch! While I also see more than a few flaws in the plan of this project, it’s definitely a movie that I would’ve loved to have seen! Oh well maybe we’ll get something similar with Tom Holland someday or maybe even Raimi coming back to do it years later. Time will tell! Thank you for sharing this with us!
My personal head Cannon is that Spider-Man 4 that Sam Raimi originally envisioned played out in the intervening years after Spider-Man 3 and before No Way Home. It sucks that Raimi Spider-Man never got the send off it deserves. No Way Home doesn't count, that was more a cameo (which means that Webb Spider-Man never got the Sendoff it deserved as well)
Spider-Man: No Way Home definitely counts they both had more than just a cameo. They both had nearly 40 minutes of screen time and were actual supporting characters in the movie that actually participated in the plot. Both of them got to wrap up their own personal storylines and tie up loose ends and resolve certain things while Tom Holland got to wrap up his storyline as well. They both got a proper send off, so I don't know what movie you watched, but it wasn't the same movie as everybody else. What it had been better for them to have gotten a proper send off in their own solo movies, perhaps. But this did a pretty damn good job at giving them the proper send offs that we never thought that they were going to get. So sorry. I'm going to defend that movie's honor and not downplay the roles that they both played in that movie, which were far more significant than you give it credit for. If someone at least have 30 minutes of screen time in a movie and actually plays a significant part in the plot, that's not a cameo. You need to learn the difference between a supporting character and a cameo.
Spider-Man 3 is my all time favourite movie as a child and I think a lot of that is to do with the dark creepiness of Venom who is also my favourite villain, so I’m glad they decided to put venom in even if it ruined the franchise, can’t wait for Tom Hollands spiderman against venom😍
I would still love to see Spiderman 4 with Tobey. To explore what happened with Peter after the events of Spiderman 3. It would also explain the events of No way Home.
Lets put Raimi's face over Dafoes, and Avi's over poor Norman's assistant. That was what Spider-Man 4 was going to be. What gets me, Avi Arad and his habits and ways, shunned by Feige, who ensures that guy is as far away from his productions as possible, is slowly turning into Arad.
There is not a single cancelled film that I would've liked to have seen more than Spider-man 4. After Far From Home I was hoping it would eventually materialize, however I think I feel differently now. I have my own head canon as to what happened with everything and I'd rather it just be left alone. If Raimi were left to his own devices I think he has the potential to do something great. My concern would be with forced cameos and constant sequel/spinoff baiting within the film. The Raimi trilogy, while flawed, dealt a lot with Peter's duty. While I enjoy some of the modern hero flicks I don't feel like they have similar themes at least to the same extent. To me they feel more surface level. The third film is about forgiving someone who murdered a relative and having sympathy for them. Both Peter and Harry go through this. I don't feel like modern cinema would hit these beats and if they did I do not feel they'd reach the same level. I want to thank you for making this video. I've watched a lot of material on the cancelled 4, but yours was the most concise and I did learn some new things.
It’s not impossible, a 4th and even 5th could happen, we got tobey and Andrew back in no way home, tons of old marvel actors came back in Deadpool and Wolverine, it’s not impossible
Yeah I think it aged pretty good, especially compared to the ones that came afterwards. I think ending at Three was the wise decision, 3 wasn’t bad but the writing was far from perfect and a fourth one would’ve probably made the trilogy formulaic at that point. One thing I appreciated about Hollywood back then was the fact they knew when to call it quits when it came to certain projects.
Try Miles Morales, Peni Parker (aka girl in burning building), Sandman, a redeemed Dr. Octavius (survived), Steel Spider, Spider UK and Black Cat join in the battle against MJ who is Venom, Lizard-Man, Scorpion, Vulture.
If you were to make a spiderman trilogy what would be your main antagonists? Spiderman 1 - Kingpin Spiderman 2 - Scorpion Spiderman 3 - Mr Negative and Green Goblin (Green Goblin is the main and final one)
Thanks for including that last bit where Sam Raimi tells Avi Arad that he was not welcomed on set. After I'm found out that in order to protect his interest in the rights to the Fantastic Four, he destroyed the original negatives of Roger Forma as 1994 version. Regardless of what you think of it, that was the act of a true Villain.
Many people say No Way Home was the other Spider-Men’s endgame. Tobey’s story is done, finished. He fell in love and married the girl of his dreams, he revisited and, FINALLY after all these years of trauma, finally got to cure some of the villains he fought. He met and help his other selves from their trauma and past and went back home to his family. The perfect ending for one of my favourite Spider-Man’s story. But seriously though, they still have to finish Andrew’s story. Sony left to many cliff hangers in his previous Spider-Man film
Spiderman 4 only if Rami has full control, and no MCU bullshit! I want “ZERO!” Far from Home references. I just want to see a true continuation of Ramis Spiderman World.
Weird how a lot of people say they didn’t like spider man 3. I loved the movie. Black suit was crazy. Not sure why people just jump on the bandwagon and say that they didn’t like it. You all know you were driving up to Burger King every other day trying to get that PlayStation three from one of those coupons.
Love the plot of SM 4. Peter is friends with the child of his villain, who happens to be his boss/mentor, until the climax when Peter's identity is revealed. Oh, wait, that's the plot of SM 1. Oops!
Even though most we will never see, its great to imagine from what we know what could have been, thanks for giving us these what could have been ones, one of my favs is Bryan singers xmen 3
I remember trolling the message boards back then and me and everybody else were extremely trepidatious about Felicia Hardy being Vultress instead of Black Cat. It sounded like a really bad change and we did shit on it a lot when the rumors dropped. I hope I didn’t contribute to this film’s demise 😅
I just got done watching SM3 again and I still enjoyed it a lot, only problem was Venom. But I'm thankful that SM4 wasn't made where Peter and MJ break up and Vulture's daughter is blackcat and she almost kills Spiderman but spares him, that sounded like absolute garbage. I do think Vulture would've been good for SM4, however I don't think Lizard would've been good, we already had a mad scientist with Doc Ock and he was amazing. Vulture and Kraven I think would've been the way to go with Vulture playing a chaotic character being hunted by Kraven who spider man tries to stop but fails then goes after Kraven who started hunting him next. Granted that is the plot to the new Spider Man game but I still would've liked it as a movie lol.
Ok, let me get this straight. They wanted to make Spider-Man 4 with Vulture as the villain instead of Lizard totally ignoring Curt Connors being in the last two films, Felicia Hardy as the Vulture's daughter instead of Black Cat and Peter cheating on Mary Jane with Felicia even though he spent the entire trilogy telling everyone how much he loves her ever since they were kids, not to mention the fact that he was going to propose to her in the third film? And they were expecting the film to be "kickass" and "on another level"? If that was their idea for Spider-Man 4, then thank got it was never made!
I really dont understand why everyone hates sipderman3 so much, In my opinion it was the best movie of the 3. I really loved the story, the action and above all I think the black suit spiderman looks way better than the normal red and blue suit. Everything in that movie was awesome. I watched it like 20 times and still love the movie very much

@@timechanger6679 My aunts ex worked on doc ock’s arms in spider man 4. Apparently Tobey was claustrophobic in the mask
Bruce Campbell as Mysterio is a form of high art.
A lot of time, studio heads are that one friend at Game Night who doesn't know how to play the board game, won't listen to the people who know how to play the board game, and then slaps the entire game board off the table and demands a different game when it becomes clear they are losing- only to repeat the process all over again.
This was an incredible analysis!
I feel like now that we’ve seen Tobey in no way home I want to see a spider man 4 the way raimi originally intended, and potentially see an older spider man deal with his final and biggest villains yet, although idk how they would top doc ock he’s my favourite villain of all time
Would love it too
Carnage maybe?
"He's my favorite villain of all time".
Spider-Man PS4 entered the chat.
Maybe all the villains vs tobey ?
Won’t Doc Octopus and Norman Osborn be alive again in the 4th Spiderman 4.
You are absolutely smashing out this content and I love it, keep it up this is going to be a huge channel
I appreciate that! Thanks!
Read this and immediately checked the sub count, thought this was a pretty high brow account cause of the quality and views.
I just find there’s a dark cloud over the whole film. I watched it recently too. I found the whole thing depressing.
@@Bulletsandblockbusters It's definitely got a more somber ending than the first two films, but I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. But hey, that's just me.
@@BulletsandblockbustersI love the dark feel of it.
The way Spider-Man 3 and amazing Spider-Man 2 both ended were kinda sad and weren’t the send offs they both deserved
Man I don't blame him for leaving but I still wish it was made. Great vid man.
Thnx! Same here :(
it's avin fault
I still want Sam Raimi's Spiderman 4.
Parker.
#MAKERAIMISPIDERMAN4 #MAKERAIMISPIDERMAN4 #MAKERAIMISPIDERMAN4 #MAKERAIMISPIDERMAN4 #MAKERAIMISPIDERMAN4 #MAKERAIMISPIDERMAN4 #MAKERAIMISPIDERMAN4
This
With all this empowerment female culture nowadays, I bet Sony would had accepted that plot right away
Don't forget Stilt Man!
Not gonna lie, the multiple villain montage is a genius idea. And I wish someone would do that if they haven’t
Raimi confirmed that Felicia would’ve been Black Cat.
Boring spider verse plot, older spiderman is cool tho
I think Spider-Man 3 is the most underrated Spider-Man film. I don’t blame Sam Raimi for the way Spider-Man 3 turing out the way it did it was studio interference from Sony and Avi Arad. I hope one day Sam Raimi will make Spider-Man 4 with Tobey Maguire returning as Spider-Man
🤞🏻
I really want a movie with scorpion as the villain!
Give me the Chameleon since Raimi made Darkman.
Naw fr why haven’t they got him in a movie cs he can spiderman some problems and what about kingpin why haven’t they put him in a movie already they missing some big name villains or like catwoman she could’ve been cool in 3 and that would’ve been interesting cs tobey turned into a bully and catwoman would have changed him they could’ve did so much more but hopefully In marvel phase 6 or 7 they have them
Maybe in Spider-Man 5, there will be Chameleon, Electro, Rhino, Scorpion and Molten Man
I wish the 4th one was made
Sony would’ve ruined it.
We got Spider Man: No Way Home and that was enough I think.
@@Infinite_Ethan03 That is why Sam Raimi walked away.
Venom was the worst thing about Spider-Man 3. It just didn't work. Sandman was fine (apart from the giant cloud of sand).
That Felicia twist would have sucked really bad.
Yeah, I’m not a fan of it tbh. I think The Lizard made the most sense for Spider-Man 4.
Bringing on Felicia Hardy and then NOT have her be Black Cat but some other character made up just for this movie would have been a straight slap in the face to Spider-Man fans.
@@endorbr exactly. It seems like such a weird choice.
@@Ravum She shouldve just been black cat who was working with vulture
I completely agree with you
It's not a great film. Enough with the hyperbole. It's something that could have been entertaining if it were more restrained with everything they were trying to do, and the elimination of some god-awful characterization. That's about as far as it goes. To think it's as good as one of the first two films is laughable.
Film is such a hot mess lol where is the “Greatness” in it? Another Rami fan blinded by nostalgia.
@@KaneRobot Meh, it's a great film and easily my favorite of the trilogy. Spiderman 2, however, was a sentimental bore that took itself too seriously.
@danman6431 imo ots the best in the trilogy and don't get much of the hate I loved sand man and Peter had alot of meme worthy lines
The funny thing is we still got all the villains Vulture, Lizard, Mysterio, Shocker, Electro, Rhino, and Prowler eventually anyway.
Don't forget the venom universe of turning the villians into good guys.
@@christophergarrett7082 Venom is not a bad guy tho.

I really liked it but that doesn’t mean it’s a good movie
I’m a fan that loves Spider-Man 3 with a passion
Anne Hathaway missed the chance to become Black Cat so she became Catwoman.
I'm with Sam, not exactly sure what I think of the story beats here either
It makes no sense to me why Peter would suddenly jump ship in him and Mary Jane's relationship, Spider-Man 3 already tackled their instability as people and now they should be smooth sailing. The Vulture seems like a cool antagonist, I think Vulture could be still compelling in a fourth installment, given his stories' themes of aging and mortality. Kraven too, who's been discussed by Sam relatively recently.
Probably why raimi hated the scripts.
But you just explained why Sam Raimi was so unhappy with the script and not to mention with the final film itself. He loves Spider-Man No Way Home from what I understand, and probably because it gave his characters a better send off than he was able to give them. It's kind of an impressive feat that that movie manages to not only be the MCU Spider-Man 3 but to also be The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and Spider-Man 4 all in the same movie
and episode's like this is why im set with all notification's on.
Spider man 4 was meant to be about the lizard and doctor Connor’s
Another banger! Great video

I loved Spider-Man 3 for what it was and still to this day defend it

Sorry, can't have that Gold digger roaming about. Úrsula is the better choice for Peter.
If Spider-Man 4 does happen, that needs to be the poster.
Dope thumbnail makes me fantasizing
Wow this is quite interesting and yes if Raimi made this movie and Felicia Hardy was in it I would’ve loved to see it too! Also I love his Vulture pitch! While I also see more than a few flaws in the plan of this project, it’s definitely a movie that I would’ve loved to have seen! Oh well maybe we’ll get something similar with Tom Holland someday or maybe even Raimi coming back to do it years later. Time will tell! Thank you for sharing this with us!
They had 10 different mask ready in made and other costumes it’s was pretty cool to see
Interesting! I never truly understood why they couldn't go through with the fourth movie, thanks for delving into it.

No Way Home is trash. Then again MCU has a lot of trash piling up
the way that clip you put at 9:42 fits the context made me burst out laughing🤣🤣🤣🤣
They need to put scorpion in 4 to along with catwoman and kingpin cs how they have kingpin in a video game but not in a movie

Yeah, Spiderman 3 is a great ending.
Very2 long time waiting movie spiderman tobey maguire and kristen dunst directed sam raimi..TQ you all came back
Lets put Raimi's face over Dafoes, and Avi's over poor Norman's assistant. That was what Spider-Man 4 was going to be. What gets me, Avi Arad and his habits and ways, shunned by Feige, who ensures that guy is as far away from his productions as possible, is slowly turning into Arad.
bro, i just friggin love spider-man and sam raimi 🥲
Glad you liked it! Thank you!

Spider-Man three was good
It’s not impossible, a 4th and even 5th could happen, we got tobey and Andrew back in no way home, tons of old marvel actors came back in Deadpool and Wolverine, it’s not impossible

Yea that's a stupid Idea. We want Black Cat not some alternative lol
Agree
i don’t get why people hate on Spiderman 3 it wasn’t even bad it was one of the greatest movie oat in my opinion and completed the trilogy.
Yeah I think it aged pretty good, especially compared to the ones that came afterwards. I think ending at Three was the wise decision, 3 wasn’t bad but the writing was far from perfect and a fourth one would’ve probably made the trilogy formulaic at that point. One thing I appreciated about Hollywood back then was the fact they knew when to call it quits when it came to certain projects.
if Rami did spider-man 4 now. I would hope it was somewhat like Logan. but with a happy ending.
Try Miles Morales, Peni Parker (aka girl in burning building), Sandman, a redeemed Dr. Octavius (survived), Steel Spider, Spider UK and Black Cat join in the battle against MJ who is Venom, Lizard-Man, Scorpion, Vulture.
People seeing Spider-Man 3’s Bully Maguire Dance in 2007: *Cringe
2020 comes along: *This is a masterpiece
Not only did Arad ruin this franchise but he also ruined Garfield's take.
If you were to make a spiderman trilogy what would be your main antagonists?
Spiderman 1 - Kingpin
Spiderman 2 - Scorpion
Spiderman 3 - Mr Negative and Green Goblin (Green Goblin is the main and final one)
If I were to make another trilogy after that it would probably be:
Spiderman 4 - Doc Ock
Spiderman 5 - Kraven
Spiderman 6 - Venom
We need a 2099 live action movie with all the 2099 heroes like Spider-Man and daredevil 2099
Also, autocorrect spelling sux.
Spiderman 3 was still enjoyable that's proof it wasn't a bad movie
Yeah
Weird how a lot of people say they didn’t like spider man 3. I loved the movie. Black suit was crazy. Not sure why people just jump on the bandwagon and say that they didn’t like it. You all know you were driving up to Burger King every other day trying to get that PlayStation three from one of those coupons.
Love the plot of SM 4. Peter is friends with the child of his villain, who happens to be his boss/mentor, until the climax when Peter's identity is revealed. Oh, wait, that's the plot of SM 1. Oops!
Sam Rami's Spiderman and the first two X-men movies literally helped create the modern superhero genre that Marvel later rode on.

Am I the only one who actually enjoyed Spider-Man 3? Everyone always shits on it
I think it's the media that shits on it. Spiderman 3 was AWESOME to me, idk what people are talking about. If you enjoy it, fuck them.
Spiderman is an older man now. In his 40s. He has kids and a wife in MJ. You could do something really amazing with that foundation.
Sam Raimi Said he Never Understood The Character of Venom which always confused me. He’s not very hard to understand bro lol
But at least Toby new how dance 😌
