I absolutely love these videos. I'm in CA in redding so Shasta is my home lake and it's super low right now and fishing for me is very sporadic but my biggest spotted bass I caught burning and pausing a deep crank designed by you guys and boy was it a fight when he hit that thing on the pause
Thats funny you mentioned the spotted bass on shasta suspending in deeper water. Was out on shasta yesterday morning throwing topwater. The smaller fish were shallow but my bigger fish came from out over 40ft of water.
when you make a deep cranking video could you show on us on your electronics where you would throw a deep crank, and where you wouldn't. I think it would help me to understand how to apply the information to my home lake.
Thanks for what y’all do. Been watching for a couple years. Could you maybe do an episode specifically on central and south Florida lakes. Sometimes they are such a struggle. Low water, dirty water, hurricanes, etc… with an average 8-10 ft lakes…. 3 ft drop makes it impossible seemingly. Thanks for whatever you could do.
Hello. New fisherman here and I love your videos. I don't see the links to the other videos on the series. Am I missing those or are they not posted? If they aren't can you please do so or direct me where to find those? Thanks.
Hi guys! I have a question and I thought it could be an interesting topic for an explanation in a video. Being from Spain, I fish only for northern strain largemouth, wich have adapted really well to southern Europe waters, and as you know don't get as big as Florida bass. Well my question is about these bass behavior in comparison to Florida strain, how can we adjust your fishing tips and techniques to each subspecie. Thanks for your videos, as you can see you help bass fishermen from all around the world. Tight lines!
@@model101jr5 I'm kind of far, but now they are also in central and southern Spain, but a lot of people don't really like them because they are destroying other gamefish population... There are great bass lakes here too, they usually don't grow over 8-9 pounds, and a lot of people doing competitions and events with +25 pound bags. Also many giant pike and barbel fisheries.
I’m out here in northern colorado and I don’t know what my deal is but I just can’t get on any sort of pattern in the summer. I fish almost every day for a few hours at least and I’d say I get skunked 50 percent of the time. I’ve watched pretty much every one of your videos so I have a decent idea what to do and consider myself a decent bass fishermen but this time of year is just hard fishing out here. Not sure if it’s because our seasons have such extremes or possibly because I’m fishing from shore not sure but has me itching to get to fall and spring those are the times of year out here where you can slay em
For me it's spinnerbait time slow roll deep points. I'll throw a crankbait if I know it's mostly rocky and larger rocks at depth. Fished Dale hollow and end up using large jigs deep at a guess 45-60 deep. Did ok not huge but nice 2.5-4lbs. Way more 2.5 than any did catch a stripper on a bucktail.
Great stuff my question would be for a natural lake lake lake Erie in the grass still hasn’t made it to the service what would be the best technique for when the sun is high and bright? Thanks for your time
My lake is very dirty like 6-12 inches of visibility and their is no grass. Theirs some Tully’s and a lot of brush shallow. Should I look offshore or stay shallow because of the water clarity
I live in Nor California, closest fishery is a lowland type reservoir. You can only bank fish, and no type of natural cover, grass mats, shade etc. Bass are super tough. It is mainly a rocky type reservoir. I have found only pinkish colored speed or shaky worms work (morning dawn) I have not seen a top water bite ever at the location. Crappie are main bait fish. Any tips for crank or glide baits for a place like this?
Hey guys I question for you is have you done a video on fishing natural lakes in the past that I might be able to Fine? If not would it be possible to put one on your busy schedule but I might get some tips on this type of water. Keep up the great work
Can you do a video on your typical town lake or pond? These are typically featureless, there are no shades or structures other than fountains and the deepest spot may be 10-15 ft. And the water is typically stained in the summer time. Visibility may be like a foot or two at most. I am stumped as to how to fish them. I know there are fish there because I've caught them before but come summer, they disappear and I can't find them. I tried a whole bunch of different stuff but only finding dinks close to the bank and big ones are nowhere to be found (tried the deep spots too)
Not all highland reservoirs get drawn down in the summer. The reservoir I fish let’s water out and will pull back for lower reservoir to keep lake at full pool
i hear so many people talk about notifications all the time, if you click on the 3 lines in the upper left hand corner. next to the "youtube" logo it pulls down a list of all your subscriptions. and the ones wtih blue dots have new videos (shrugs) i dont know how people miss videos but hit that bell to make it easier i guess

Tim your the man bro! Question, I've never caught a big bass 7lbs + deeper than 15ft, is that your experience? I've caught a lot of bass up to 30' just not real big 4lbs max, doesn't get much deeper than that in Louisiana, but was just wondering your thoughts heard Andrew Upshaw mention same thing in a recent video, he thinks it's attributed to those larger bass needing more oxygen? Just wondering your thoughts? Thanks in advance for a reply
How shallow is too shallow in the summer? My lake (in Nashville) doesn't have a ton of grass but the patches that are there are in 1-3 feet of water. Will bass still stay in that grass during the middle of the day?
Need some help. I live In California and a few weeks ago I snuck into my favorite spot. I caught 10 fish that day and had some good days like that too. Recently the past 3 times I have been lucky to even get a bite. The spot I fish is a man made rock pit. Its pretty clear water and it does get deep pretty fast compared to other lakes I have fished. The water has only dropped around 5 feet or so since I have been doing very well. Any suggestions??
I have a question I fish lake fontana a lot and it deep and has a lot of spoted bass and monster spoted bass I fish a rapala husky jerk and shad rap in water temps in the 80s should I switch what should I switch to to catch the bigger spots under the small ones
