The info you give in your videos shows your knowledge and it totally pays off. I watched a few of your videos on frog lures and after practicing how you showed I ended up catching a 6lb large mouth in Lilly pads up here in Washington state. Wish I could add the pic but awesome tips, keep ‘em coming bro.
I am one of those that’s always fished ahallow Even from my kayak. Whenever I’ve attempted to fish off shore I have always felt lost This video gave so much good info most veterans are not willing to share
Ty, I love the way to present this material. You are the best in this business. Your videos aren't selling lures directly but are helping people who like to fish improve their skill set. It is real world, practical information that helps us detect patterns. Thanks!
I love your videos, and I don’t know why some people have to spread negativity when you are trying to help people catch fish. Keep up the good work man!
Thanks for this. I’m learning to bass fish using trial and error. There are so many possibilities, I get analysis paralysis. This gives me a framework to follow.
So your theory of bass staying near spawning areas is just like what Buck Perry says about the Contours that lead to Shallowater all the way up to the bank. And if you've never heard of luck Perry you need to look him up
Tyler thanks for sharing 🎣 very confusing to me. Guess i'll have to stay shallow. All this new stuff even cell phones are tuff for being old school in my 70's
Smallmouth bass are one of my favourite species too target! About 2 years ago I had never even caught one and now I’m competing and winning smallmouth tournaments. Wish people gave some more attention too smallmouth then largemouth it’s well deserved.
I have an 88 ranger with a single simple lowrance 9 at the dash. W a deep v haul I doubt I even have it set up correctly. Never get the returns that I see everyone else have. Mainly I use it for the GPS so I don't get lost on the lake, and sure I look at the sonar and stuff but it's Greek. I really enjoy just getting out there looking at an area w my 10 yr old and think, hmm think looks like an ok spot and we just fish
Hey Big Dog! Your videos are so AWEsOME! Just wondering - what if they spawn, go deep in July/Aug, but the lake is also very busy and fished hard? then what would you do? Thanks Big G for all the great content
Wow, that really puts in in perspective! “You really have to think about it the same as if you were fishing down the bank for hours without catching a fish”…. So many times I’ve abandoned offshore fishing because I wasn’t getting bit, but didn’t have confidence in it to stay. Great video!
Just because he has nice stuff doesn’t mean you have to. I have a boat but plenty of people catch big fish out of a kayak or canoe. Does it help having good electronics and the ability to drive to any place on the lake? Sure but you can do well without it. If you want to cry online some guy that fishes tournaments has nice electronics you certainly wont do well with it without them
As I talked about…I didn’t always have super nice units…and I still made due with what I had…you don’t have to have the nicest units to go out and find fish deep, I never let that be an excuse for me

This will definitely be a helpful video for me. Summer has always been tough. Thanks Ty!!!

This video got me to subscribe, time to dig deep in the videos now 🤙🏻
Great info Tyler!
In the Texas lake I fish, deeper means 35-50 feet so rather challenging especially managing the thermocline
Try fishing my lakes. 260-300 feet in many places. That's deep!😂
@@jaybiz84 wholly crap. what state are you fishing in ?
@@caseysaunders2137 I can’t answer for the other guy but diamond valley lake in california goes to 260 feet deep lol
Good intel. Thanks
Great info thank you

Good info, thank you
Appreciate the video
I need you to do something on Wilson lake on the TVA system! Please!!
Great video bud
Looks like alum creek!!!
Very interesting....... Not Cheap🤔
If you could only have one. Live or 360?
Nice. Got the $3600 Solix but Humminbird says my lakes aren't worthy of mapping.
WOW!!! It doesn't seem right, but Damn. Why cut out part of the consumer base. They should be trying to get every lake they can
Ok, Kayak fishing bass, best low end model you would recommend
Sheesh I know I’m early but still, where are the comments? Good into!

Bam!
“Don’t need the fanciest electronics” well that’s good cause I don’t have any
Hey dude how much would you charge me to mark up my local lake for this time of year…I suck
The app sucks. Its never updated to local lakes even in twin cities. Itll show 12 feet but youre in 8
He lost me started talking about electronics mention
Funny when someone that has high end electronics on there boat say you don’t need it…… lol funny
Worked my way up to that…but as stated…used to have very little

dont you love getting advice from a guy using 3 $3000 fish finders and him telling you dont need expensive fish finders? i mean come on man...
I do he explains things well for all skill levels and budgets
I have the same units as him and i am absolutly stumped by offshore bass fishing. Thats why im here. If you listen, you could learn.
Ahahaha that’s what I thought!
should see his earlier videos. He has been fishing with simple electronics until recently.
