Sweet little rifle. The small single shots taught a lot of us how to sight properly to hit our target. Nice! 👍🙏🎯
I have a Remington 514 single shot bolt action in 22 short, long and long rifle that used to belong to my dad. He swore he could strike matches with it. Love that old gun.
You can do it I got the same gun I'm sixty two and still hunting with it
The 514 Remington is an icon. Great rifle. Dad also used to have a 514. And it’s still in the family. As far as I know. These old Remington rifles. Are just hard to beat. I want to thank you for watching my friend. You take care and have a most wonderful day.👍👍👍
That is the first gun I ever owned as a kid. My son let it get away but I bought another one, lots of fun.
Nice presentation AL, remain blessed and keep the videos coming 💫 💥 ☝️ 👍 🙏
Nice old rifle. You can't beat old school. Thanks for bringing it to us, Al!
Both of my grand fathers had rifles similar to that. Brings back a lot of memories.

Great shooting with a cool old rifle!
I had one a few years ago!
Those old irons are pretty nice units
I’ve got one just like that! It was my grandfather’s rifle (or his father’s- my dad isn’t quite sure).
You don’t want to bump that safety.

Beautiful Rifle and Nice Shooting Al 👉🎯. Thanks for the Video. God 🙏 Bless ✝️💛.
That sure is in fantastic shape for as old as it is 👍
The only Remington I own is the Fieldmaster 572 pump action
I used to have the field master. Wish I still had that one. Nothing like old school. 👍👍👍👍
That's a cool old rifle!
They don't make like that anymore. Nice! Thanks Al!
Nice Al. I've got a single shot Winchester from the thirty's. I still hunt with it. Not as good of shape physical as yours, but is still dead on. Thanks Al many a squirrels and birds met there demise.
A friend of mine left a similar little .22 with me (a Springfield). It was shooting about 10" to the left at 25 yds and he couldn't drift the front sight enough to correct it, so he asked my help (I recrowned the barrel, but it's still shooting about 2" left). Like the rifle your reviewing, the barrel and "receiver" is machined out of one piece of steel, so they ain't no chance of adjusting the barrel to receiver since they're all one piece. Enjoyed your review Al.
How’s it going my friend. I have took a marble and a piece of sandpaper. Wrap it around the marble. Sometimes the Crown at the end of the barrel. They have a little battered, please you can twist this in a circle motion. And smooth the crown of the rifle back up. And sometimes it helps. I have done it to several older rifles of mine. And sometimes will bring the accuracy of the rifle back. Just a little small place on the crown of the rifle. When the bullet passes through the end of the barrel it can catch those little imperfections. And cause it to shoot sometimes way to the left or right. You might want to try this. It definitely cannot hurt. I want to thank you for watching my friend. You take care and have a most wonderful day.👍👍👍👍👍
Very nice rifle. 😀🇺🇸
Great rifle Al, if you are out of room in your safe, I have room for one more! Lol
I had a little Glenfield when I was a kid .. dump a box of shells in my pocket and up over the hill I went..
I heard that my friend. Those were the good old days. Brings back memories. You take care and have a wonderful day. Really appreciate you watching.👍👍👍👍
We’ve got a 41 Targetmaster dang good 22’s.
Those old rifles were hand made and most are tack drivers ! i have an old single shot wichester from the 30s ! Thanks Al !
I have my dad's old Stevens Model-15A single shot. It was missing the cooking piece and had a broken firing pin and I never even thought about repairing until last year I ordered the parts for it and let me tell you I never thought a single shot 22 would be fun to shoot, but I was wrong. Wish I had fixed it years ago!
That’s awesome. They are a blast to shoot that for sure. I really appreciate you watching my friend. You take care and have a wonderful day.👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Al. I think you can adjust the wind-age with the front sight. I love the old school stuff.
Yes you can adjust the windage with the front dovetail sights thanks for the heads up on that. I forgot to mention it. It’s always a pleasure my friend. You take care and have a great day.👍👍👍👍👍
