Great review dude. I could definitely daily my Z if I had to, but I don't necessarily feel like driving a race car after a long day at work, I just want something with a cushy seat, marshmallow suspension, and a smooth engine. Snow is also a factor where I live. I've had mine for a year and it's an amazing car. A couple of light mods plus a tune and you've got all the power you're really gonna need to do what I like to do, which is to wake up at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday mornings and carve up the backroads. Highway pulls are always fun too, but the twisties really bring out the true soul of this car.
I agree that for the price, the Nismo version really isn't worth it. IMHO (althought I admit I am biased) the sport package is a better value because you still get auto rev matching, plus 19 inch forged wheels and a LSD as standard features, but it doesn't cost much more than a base model. On the other hand, the Nismo will certainly be a collector's item, and if you like the exclusivity of having one, there's nothing wrong with that.

I just sold my R8 V10+ and will switch over to a 370Z Nismo. The R8 does not involve you into the driving experience, and even living close to Germany, you're barely able to use the Power ever. Also the R8 performs poorly on track without modifications, which each cost thousands instead of hundreds.

Sold my r title 88k miles ‘09 370z 6spd in NJ in 2020 for $9.5k and at that time a lot of people were complaining about the price lol now similar 370zs sell for $15k. 350z prices are high too, 7-10k for an ‘03 DE lmao. Crazy times
