ThatDudeinBlue when you came to Canada did you pass in New Brunswick?
I know many people think it is "easy" to drive a GTR fast. But after doing track days for several years, I totally appreciate something that is easy to enjoy. Having tones of power all the time and being able to put the power down on the street are just the best. Don't tell me you don't need hp to have fun. I grew up with low-hp but nice handing car (S2000). I used to think nice handling was all you need. But man, when you put you foot down on something makes big HP, that's a whole different world. I like something like GTR, which you can enjoy easily. I just put my foot down, it goes like hell and I laugh like an idiot. My Shelby Mustang is a lot of fun but you can lost control much easier. I'll take RWD car for track days. But for the boys and girls commenting "GTR is boring, Miata is for fun", are you the one who is doing track days every month? And I totally appreciate the engineers who build the GTR. They did their best so the car is easy and nice to drive.
This GTR is now at 701whp 650wtq. Had a blast with David, so much fun that day !

David, you should definitely come to the UK, the car scene here is overwhelmed by cars with low horsepower and amazing handling. It's so crazy the amount of sports cars that get blown away by seat cupras and gtis on our twisty roads. It's sleeper centeral over here!
This is why I started liking this channel a couple years ago. David actually talking about how the car drives! A lot of the recent reviews aren't as strong as this or the older ones, and hopefully this is the direction he's headed back on

David I want too have one, one day... the thing is with the new GTR is that they could really change up the body style more than just little noticeable things. Yeah its a Nismo and has certain suttle differences but.... something that can truely stand out on its own with no other compareisons. The motor sounds wicked awesome but more motor than computer so you feel like your more in control of the car than the computer. Nice car though.... Oh have fun and be safe up there David!

I live here in Quebec (Montreal) and while I agree roads are reeeeaallly bad (specially inside Montreal, all that potholes...roughly 53k according to some websites) there are a few gorgeous roads around the place. You just have to know them. I own a GTI and Montreal is hurting my back everytime I drive around...
The only thing I’d change is the exhaust and throw some decals on it like a big samurai decal down the side

The exact same thing as last year. Nissan has been releasing the same car with performance tweaks for 10 years.
I just can't get past the boxy line where the top of the windshield intersects with the roof line. This appears to be a growing trend in newer generation cars, also seen on the new Supra and 370z. I miss the clean elegant lines of 90s early 2000s styling. They also tend to look more bloated and have awkward proportions.
One of the reasons I really appreciate the FRS/BRZ is because the styling is kind of a throwback to that era while still looking modern and aggressive.
As for supercars, Honda definitely got it right with the current gen NSX. It has the perfect aerodynamic shape, perfectly balanced, aggressive yet elegant, also takes cues from "the golden era" of sporty design language.
Quebec roads are bad, but there is a couple Intersections near me that if you do the speed limit going through you'll get a good 2ft of air because it's one big bump

coming from Quebec, bad weather is the least of our problems. The roads here are beyond terrible. They are very wavy and mountainous which may be great for some and bad for others but we have craters that can probably compare to those found on the moon.

Have had a 2009 for about 18 months. Box stock except Michelin PSS. I can't imagine keeping a car faster than this one planted on the back roads. It has been thoroughly enjoyable to drive and own. The only thing about it is that it attracts young men, not young women!

Alex Thompson . David reviewed it while it was still stock. Now it has an exhaust , a tune and cooling upgrades for a total of 701whp. The owner gave my a ride last week and if you floor it on a dig it will crabwalk.
The 240 is ALOT lighter too

I totally agree on the older interiors I really felt like I was just in a fancy Nissan Altima lol no joke. But I feel these cars are super over hyped. Same with STI's. Too many fan boys.

does david not realize how bad the winters get up there or what? like seriously, come down to vancouver BC next time and take a drive up to whistler and youll see and feel the difference on the road, the drive is amazing. Not hatin on you, but just cause the roads are bad in frenchyland canada, doesnt mean theyre all bad. just dont go to edmonton, Alberta, the roads are terrible there too haha

I think that the biggest problem with the GTR is that unless you are using ungodly amounts of gas , you are not having fun.
A lot of slower cars are fun without having to own a gas company , GTR's have been known to use a whole tank in a few hours.
I have a mercedes benz c63 AMG and gtr and TRUST me that the gtr is a gas keeper compared to the c63,
Hammer Home kinda does well for the speed it puts on the road
