This car is hands down the best performance bargain on the used sports car market. For under $30k you're buying a Real sports car, with legitimate power and timeless good looks. I bought a 2012 Z a few years ago and it's been reliable, fun and a blast to drive on back roads. I'm a bit older than you and appreciate that you're wise beyond your years. 0-60 means nothing when you're blasting down the road...it's all about suspension and brakes. Well done bro.
My wife's daily driver is a 16 Nismo 370z, and when I drive this sometimes I just have an absolute blast. People don't give this car enough attention in the car world.
I was able to get a 2016 Mustang GT with heated/cooled leather seats, Brembo brakes, navigation, 5.0 engine for the price of a 370Z which was much more bare bones inside and not as quick. I think NIssan priced them far too high.
They dont get attention because they cost too much. BRZ/86 is as fun a drivers car and the pony cars are better performance for the same money with more storage room and more seats. if the NISMO was $35k-ish up to 40k and the standard somewhere at $30k to 35k it would put it right between the BRZ and the camaro/mustang/challenger where its performance puts it.
You really nailed it on in your video, great job! I traded from a 2014 touring sport tech Z to a 2016 Nismo tech. I wanted one before they were gone for good. I use it as a daily driver. I don't know about the supercar comparison as I have never driven one, but you did boost my ego a bit. As you say the seats, suspension and power on the Nismo are better, replacement Recaro's from Nissan run around $9000 each. The audio system is better as well. I did change the stock tires on the Nismo to 275/35ZR-19 Pirelli P Zeros on the front and 305/30ZR Pirelli P Zeros on the back using the stock wheels and I like them much better than the stock tires. This car attracts attention from young and the old alike, and can get a person into a lot of trouble if not careful.
Nice comment! My car has stock tires on it right now. I'll be testing them out in the mountains tomorrow and then some track later this year. But definitely an amazing car especially for the price tag.
I have driven a supercar--Lambo--and it gives a similar feel. I'm obviously not saying it's as good, but it gives a similar feel for a fraction of the cost. And honestly, for an average person, it is all the performance I would ever need when I autocross and occasional HPDE.
I absolutely love the new nismos, but I'd never get rid of the heated seats in my 14. The body kit upgrade on the nismo body looks so damn sweet though. Congrats on the sweet new ride!
R R 370z’s actually hold their value well despite having little to no changes to them since 2009. I will say that 2014+ models respond to bolt ons better than the 2009-2013
Love the video! I upgraded awhile back from an 06 350 to my 2014 Nismo, I love the car. The only criticism was that the clutch was difficult to get used to. Initially a lot of false starts but once I got it no problem.
I wanted to get a nismo but could not find a recent low mileage one under 30k CAD. I then opted for an almost bone stock babied 2 owners 40 000km 6MT Sport Touring 2010. Pretty damn good performance and looks for the value. Now it's getting bolt-ons and function mods while keeping clean oem looks. If you have the money get the nismo, but if you are on a budget, the Sport Touring is your best buy.
I prefer how the 09-14 body style 370Z NISMO and rims look over the newer NISMO. The only 2 things I like about the newer 15-17 370Z NISMO is the new Recaro seats and the navigation over the older model NISMO which doesn't have navi.
...YES it is! i own a 2018 Nismo which I got brand new for 37T€ in 2018 special dealer sale at 0 mileage.... 4-5 years later and only 4.500 miles on it, the car is worth 40-45 T€ and partially even more so I didn´t lose anything. I really like the 370z sport, but the Nismo is great for my taste. I like visceral cars. It feels like a race car for the street. The combination of the great seats, steering wheel, super stiff chassis and exhaust sound makes me feel like I'm driving something special. It is 80%-90% of the Lambo I drove once, and honestly I probably will never be able to use that.
I don't own a 370z but I'm glad you pointed out the people that dismiss cars just because it doesn't have a whole bunch of power ! Like there's more to driving then just getting on the gas.
Every time I see one of those I'm like OOOO it's a GTR! Then I get closer and I'm like dang.. haha But it's still a sexy car no doubt! Do you still have the Evora? I wanna get one of those

My upgrade plans for my Z include the installation of lighter weight sport bucket seats, lighter wheels and a firmed up suspension.
Take it to the track with the lotus, the differences will become even more apparent. This was the most logical upgrade, especially for the price you got it, you won't lose much money on it.
i bought my clean title 370z with nismo body 140k miles for 8.5k absolutly no problems an i couldnt be happier...unless i had a manual nismo lol but if my engine ever blows ima drop a nismo in it an get it tuned ..the 370 is the most solid feeling car ive ever drove goin from a widebody turbo s2k to a stage 2 bugeye to the 370 it felt sooooo much better im so used to 90s japanese shit boxes this cars really spoiled me..gets alot of attention ill be pumpin gas an hear someone yell nice car when they drive by lol
Both Nissan’s are still nice sports car honestly I would of just upgrade the red Nissan with no less or no car payment still both Nissan are beautiful vehicles 🚗 I have a base 2016 Nissan 370Z and the only way I would trade my Nissan it would be for the Nissan 400z next generation 👍aight aka 👑KingRichee ✌🏽👉🏽
After experiences both cars, I really liked the upgrades in the Nismo. It really is a completely different car. And for me, it made sense to upgrade because I was able to build more credit and later buy my GTR. If I had just modded the red Z it wouldnt have gained any value. Since the Nismo was worth more, I was able to sell it for more then a model Sport model. All great cars, can't go wrong!
Traded in my 2006 about a year ago (slightly modded) for a lifted Tundra. I think i'm gonna get another Z when the next one comes out. Really miss the car. Nice video.
Honestly the next z is gonna probably be a four banger with a small turbo lmao or they'll end the Z line since its such a niche market. Manufacturers have already devoted a shit ton of r&d into the 370z and it'll be even more years after the new Z before anything worthwhile comes out for it.
You're spending 15k for leather sports seats with heat, body kit, a minor upgrade to suspension/exhaust, DVD player with GPS and a rear-view camera. However, the quality of what you get is nowhere near top of the line. For LESS THAN half that price, you can buy *much better* upgrades: Exhaust - Fast Intentions TDX Non-Resonated Catback ($1200) ... better sound/quality/weight/design/performance Suspension - BC Racing Adjustable Coilovers ($1000) ... adjustable DVD player with GPS - Alpine Series ($1500-2000) ... Alpine's decks are unrivaled Seats - 2 racing seats in leather ($1000-2000) + $500 for heated seats ... you could even go custom for this price Rearview Camera - ($200) ... 20 minute install The base model is sexy as hell - I personally think the Nismo body kit is ugly and overdone. However, with the budget above, let your taste take you anywhere you want to go because you're at around $6500 so go find yourself a body kit and custom paint job and STILL have 5k leftover. Also, if you ever plan on a twin-turbo build, get ready to throw that Nismo exhaust in the trash because the design is too poor to hit high numbers - it also almost sounds like stock. (source: hundreds of hours of research searching for parts for my 370z)
You have your numbers skewed. I said that it is not worth the upgrade brand new. However, on the used market, a 2016 Sport/Tech is about $5k less than a 2016 Nismo Tech. That is well worth that price. For that $5k difference you could get a bucket seats, tune, exhaust and a set of coilovers. But you would not have changed the wheels to something wider. (Nismo has wider wheels/tires). The chassis would not be any stiffer. You would not have matching seats with alcantara. Steering would not be as direct, breaks wouldn't be as sharp, you wouldn't have the upgraded damper. And a few other thing. Also, your car would not have actually gained any re-sale value. So this Nismo being $5k more than a sport/Tech, is very well worth it. Because you simply could not build it for that price, and of course you wouldn't make your non Nismo worth as much as a comparable Nismo. And once you drive these cars, it is clear the Nismo is a complete step up in performance. Hundreds of hours of research tells you nothing until you test them back to back.
Bros FOURR Speed I haven't seen a Sport with a 5k gap on the Nismo. I think if it was a 5k difference there wouldn't be a discussion on wether the car is worth it or not. We are talking about easily 10k$+ gap differential.
the first thing you notice in a nismo 370z is the seats ?????????????????????????????🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 are you sure you know about cars in general ?? I'm just saying, because if you ask me the first thing you feel and see in this car is the more obvious thing and that is the nismo body kit secondly a much more refined and track ready car. a red seat can catch your eye and you might think its very cool and pleasant to watch but that's not the first thing we see on a nismo. just an FYI
As a Z owner myself, I personally like the original look better than nismo Z. It's like they made the nismo body package for kids that play video games. I love them both, just prefer the looks of the original.
Yeh it took a few months for me to realize I did not fit well in the normal seats. The base is way to short and there are no bolsters. The Recaro seats were the icing on the cake that made me 'need' to upgrade
Did you ever own or drive a 350z? I still think the old 350z was a way better car than the 370z IMO. I love the looks of the 370z but didn't feel as good as the 350z for driving experience.
If you put the Nismo body kit on your old 370z would they look identical? Something about the bonnet and lights seem different but i'm not sure if it's just the kit working its magic. The older nismo looks much narrower and mouse like. A bit dated and awkward. They're the same hood, wheel arches and front lights in the same proportions aren't they? I was tempted to get an older Z for around £15,000 with around 35,000 - 50,000 miles and put a nismo or other body kit on it. However, your video is tempting me save another year and get the £25,000+ very new low milage nismo instead. How much are we talking for the mods you would suggest to bring the standard Z up to nismo level? Interestingly i have been researching the evora too. What are your thoughts between them?
I read a good comparison of 370z v 370z Nismo, straight line speed is very very close but over the 2.5 miles of Donnington park, the Nismo was consistently 3 sec a lap quicker, so for track days the Nismo leaves the 370z GT.
Ha. Another upgrade!?! I just watched the one where you were loving on the red Z. Alas, I too am tempted by the Nismo but what about the gas mileage? The same? I'll check to see if you did a yearly update report on this hot ride. Keep up the good work.
Comparing a standard 370z to Nismo is one thing but the year makes little difference. The 2012 Nismo has the same setup mechanically (mostly). The look and interior is the only difference. Power is exactly the same.
Please don't be a Nismo wannabe.. cuz when they ask you if it's a Nismo and you have to explain to them it's not, and hope you just put a sticker on there, then they'll think you're a fuckin freak..
Yeah I really enjoyed the Nismo over my Sport! Fun car! traded it for a GTR a year later. Enjoyed that car for 5.5 years! Onto the Lambo now. Check out our channel for more videos ;)
Wow that's crazy! Good choice for the numbers. Right now the Nismo cars are going for crazy money over the normal ones. If I still had this car, I could sell it for like $40k! Traded it for a GTR a yer later
oh I'm gonna miss you having the red one like me. lol bit congrats regardless. :) I have these amazing shadow black TSW tires that came with it that make my Z look awesome!
would you say that the 2015-2016 nismo has the same handling as the older nismo's, Like the black twin turbo nismo you drove? Or do the newer nismos have better handling?
I think the new one handles a lot better. I don't remembering that twin turbo having the same tight feeling chassis. Plus that one had lowering springs on it. The New Nismo definitely has more upgrades
I wondering if most of your impression with the Nismo is due to the very different seats, which can make the ride and control and acceleration feel much different. I thinking about replacing my 2018 Sport Tech,( 19 inch wheels) seats but I need to make sure it doesn't sit lower than the OEM seats. I'm also wondering about how different your 370z Sport Tech suspension differs from Base and Nismo versions
You cant say people who want more hp are dumb when talking about the 370z and then not look at the Miata, BRZ which are down on power and are far more fun to drive on regular streets. Yes on track the NISMO would be better, but nobody drives to work on a track. Did you try any other cars before buying this thing? there are a lot of really good cars out these days.
If you feel like that's something you want to tackle and enjoy! It would definitely be fun to see if you were able to film it and show the build process!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed These motor seem to be pretty solid up to 500whp with some supporting mods 🤷♂️ have an sc 400 right now planning to ls swap so itll be awhile. 370z are just such pretty cars though
Please give me some advice here. I am looking for my first sports car. I have been conflicted between getting that NISMO or the Mustang GT. I love the look of the Nissan, handling, exclusivity but I also like the louder V8 of the Mustang it's road trip comfort practicality and the better acceleration. Everyone has a Mustang it seems, but then again the Z might be a bit harsh and I love going on road trips to twisty mountain roads. but most of my "fun" driving is in the city so mainly acceration in a straight line which the Z is a bit slower at...........which should I choose?
Weapon X Get the Z. It will be better for your wallet when u need to fuel up. Me personally, I have a g37s and the ride quality is similar but, I like the sense of feeling the road. That's just my opinion though. As long as you are not driving on crappy roads then the ride quality should not be too much of an issue.
I'm 5ft 11. Both cars are fine, but the standard seats I don't like at all. The base is too short for my legs. The bucket seats in the Nismo were amazing. Insanely comfortable.
I have the 7AT for 1 year now and debating if I should trade it in for a stick ;/ I wouldn't get a base stick though do you think it's worth the upgrade to the nismo? Obviously used
370z lemus a 2015+ Nismo is totally worth the upgrade! The Z has one of the best automatics I've ever driven, but the manual is very rewarding to drive.
Is there a website where you can buy factory NISMO parts at? that would be very cool. I cant afford a NISMO either. I want one so bad but if I can find a good deal then I could fix it up like a NISMO.
Nismo is quicker from the hp bump up from 332 to about 350 ,but it's a small margin so straight line performance is really not much of a difference If it was me, I would get the sport trim since it's you get a bit more for the buck If you want, you can even do the nismo front and rear fascia conversion to make it look like the nismo version
Bros FOURR Speed I tinted my whole windshield with 3m Christaline film it's a lighter film but it gives you the protection for the car and driver. I paid $269 but well worth the price. My radar detectors and sun pass have no problem with the tint. (2015 white Nismo like yours) I'm running 305's x 30 rear tires. Like your videos. Please mention about the Nismo gear ratio (3.92) as well.
Yeah that's the biggest part: Final drive. I Have a 2014 AT, was looking at Z1's rear diff kits, seems like that would liven things up, but it's about $3k to do it right.
Obviously the new C7 is faster out of the box but the handling on the 370Z NISMO is truly special and definitely better. I think as far as looks its a matter of preference both cars look great.
The 370Z suspension is NOT better than the C7. Magnetic Ride is pretty much the king of OEM suspension, so much to the point that GM licenses out the technology to Porsche and other manufacturers. The Nismo is good don't get me wrong, but no where near what the C7 offers. If someone argues that then that means they never owned both or even drove both.
man, if you get the Nismo why don't you use the 370z base model. you could upgrade by having 12k saved by not getting the nismo version. you could kill this shit easily.
put Infinity Kappa 6.5s on the doors and rear, add a 10 inch JL dw6, and bam!! Nothing better than driving a sports car with a nice system jamming out to Pantera or Metallica.
Do you have a version of the driving portion of this video in a POV only camera view without having to stare at you by any chance? The talking is fine, and we can hear you just fine without having to see you, no offense. I ask because this video would have been so amazing if you kept the entire driving part of the video in POV like you did for a short amount of time here.
You should have that fake engine sound disabled. ASC = active sound control started in 2016 and it literally puts a fake engine sound through your speakers. It sounds so fake like yours - it's a whiny sound and not the actual engine sound. Ironic because the Z has a great natural engine sound. I had a service shop use the Consult Diagnostic Tool to disable that, but left on the ANC = active noise control.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Glad to hear that :) No offense but I'm pretty sure I could hear it on your video. It's a distinct crispy whiny fake engine sound. If you're happy then that's all that counts.
If you have a base model, A Nismo at the right price would be worth it. Have a Sport Tech is something different.. My car is faster than any Z34 Nismo and costs less.
Honestly my Nismo was night and day different from my sport. Huge step up and way more fun to drive. Also holds value much better. I really enjoyed the changes
@@CleanCarbonZ Have you driven this generation Nismo back to back with your car? As an owner of both. The Nismo was worth it. Plus they hold value better. Base Z’s keep getting cheaper to buy. i bought my clean title 370z with nismo body 140k miles for 8.5k absolutly no problems an i couldnt be happier...unless i had a manual nismo lol but if my engine ever blows ima drop a nismo in it an get it tuned ..the 370 is the most solid feeling car ive ever drove goin from a widebody turbo s2k to a stage 2 bugeye to the 370 it felt sooooo much better im so used to 90s japanese shit boxes this cars really spoiled me..gets alot of attention ill be pumpin gas an hear someone yell nice car when they drive by lol
Nice! These are great cars for sure. I really liked the upgrade from my Sport to the Nismo. Cant wait to get the 2023 Z! Cool cars!
Nice video.
that's gona be a long time, might as well get a 370 now.
ya was thinking the same thing. i think im just gonna save for the Q60s
Nizm0350z yeah go with the q60 , there's a 500 HP one coming out
Honestly the next z is gonna probably be a four banger with a small turbo lmao or they'll end the Z line since its such a niche market. Manufacturers have already devoted a shit ton of r&d into the 370z and it'll be even more years after the new Z before anything worthwhile comes out for it.
Nice overall analysis, but did I miss any mention of the fake engine noise in the more recent Nissan? That's a pretty basic difference.
Awesome video bro. Keep it up. Been a sub since you guys had the genesis coupes. I have one myself. 2016
Kenny Zaidner Awesome!
You're spending 15k for leather sports seats with heat, body kit, a minor upgrade to suspension/exhaust, DVD player with GPS and a rear-view camera.
However, the quality of what you get is nowhere near top of the line.
For LESS THAN half that price, you can buy *much better* upgrades:
Exhaust - Fast Intentions TDX Non-Resonated Catback ($1200) ... better sound/quality/weight/design/performance
Suspension - BC Racing Adjustable Coilovers ($1000) ... adjustable
DVD player with GPS - Alpine Series ($1500-2000) ... Alpine's decks are unrivaled
Seats - 2 racing seats in leather ($1000-2000) + $500 for heated seats ... you could even go custom for this price
Rearview Camera - ($200) ... 20 minute install
The base model is sexy as hell - I personally think the Nismo body kit is ugly and overdone.
Lost Angeles
Ive seen nismos go for 28/31k lol and sports tend to go for around 23/25k So idk what you're talking about tbh
its built in Japan , not usa where tuning a car is far cheaper you cant compare
It cost 6,448,000 yen / base 370z 3,950,000 yen
the first thing you notice in a nismo 370z is the seats ?????????????????????????????🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
are you sure you know about cars in general ??
I'm just saying, because if you ask me the first thing you feel and see in this car is the more obvious thing and that is the nismo body kit secondly a much more refined and track ready car.
a red seat can catch your eye and you might think its very cool and pleasant to watch but that's not the first thing we see on a nismo. just an FYI
He was saying the first thing you see on the inside is the seats
As a Z owner myself, I personally like the original look better than nismo Z. It's like they made the nismo body package for kids that play video games. I love them both, just prefer the looks of the original.
LOL, soo true..
I'd pick a base over the nismo anyday. The money you save, you have every option to improve. versus what the nismo gives you.
Great review and nice upgrade! One of the reasons I sold my old 370Z was because of those awful seats, why oh why Nissan what a failure.
Great video and cool looking car man!
Thanks!
I read a good comparison of 370z v 370z Nismo, straight line speed is very very close but over the 2.5 miles of Donnington park, the Nismo was consistently 3 sec a lap quicker, so for track days the Nismo leaves the 370z GT.
Oh yeah the Nismo is such an upgrade from the normal Z. I never regretted trading out!
Ha. Another upgrade!?! I just watched the one where you were loving on the red Z. Alas, I too am tempted by the Nismo but what about the gas mileage? The same? I'll check to see if you did a yearly update report on this hot ride. Keep up the good work.
Is the wide body something that is available on the 2017 370z sport?
I guess its too early to say but would u get the rumored 400z?
Depends on price. But i'd be interested
Awesome video! That was some great information.
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Comparing a standard 370z to Nismo is one thing but the year makes little difference. The 2012 Nismo has the same setup mechanically (mostly). The look and interior is the only difference. Power is exactly the same.
when im old enough to drive, if these aren't under 14k im just gonna buy a base and put a duraflex Nismo bumper kit on the car.
Please don't be a Nismo wannabe.. cuz when they ask you if it's a Nismo and you have to explain to them it's not, and hope you just put a sticker on there, then they'll think you're a fuckin freak..
Great video just what i was looking for!
Awesome!
they're only like 45k in canada. which isn't that bad at all. the new q60 s is around 67k
why is Canada a lot cheaper than Ausralia , aren't slugged with import taxes I'm guessing
Bro holy shit! here in cali it's 29k. feelsbadman..

All worth saving and buying
Yeah I really enjoyed the Nismo over my Sport! Fun car! traded it for a GTR a year later. Enjoyed that car for 5.5 years! Onto the Lambo now. Check out our channel for more videos ;)
I love my 09 touring sport, it's was 20k cheaper than the cheapest nismo around here so there was really no way it was worth it for me to go nismo.
Wow that's crazy! Good choice for the numbers. Right now the Nismo cars are going for crazy money over the normal ones. If I still had this car, I could sell it for like $40k!
Traded it for a GTR a yer later
@@BrosFOURRSpeed sick you got an r35?
@@bigthings1818 I’ve had it for over 4 years now! Tons of content on the channel of the car, such a blast!!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed goals! ill have to peep the videos I love the r35
Swift springs would have been all you needed on the sport to get less body roll.
i love that car i think the z family is growing
oh I'm gonna miss you having the red one like me. lol bit congrats regardless. :) I have these amazing shadow black TSW tires that came with it that make my Z look awesome!
Nismo looks badass
Thanks! I did some goodies to this car while I had it. Fun car! th-cam.com/video/LncxCipQMW4/w-d-xo.html
would you say that the 2015-2016 nismo has the same handling as the older nismo's, Like the black twin turbo nismo you drove? Or do the newer nismos have better handling?
I think the new one handles a lot better. I don't remembering that twin turbo having the same tight feeling chassis. Plus that one had lowering springs on it. The New Nismo definitely has more upgrades
How do the Nismo bucket seats compare to the G37 Sport seats? I ask because I messed up my back.
122 chapter good reliability ?
I wondering if most of your impression with the Nismo is due to the very different seats, which can make the ride and control and acceleration feel much different. I thinking about replacing my 2018 Sport Tech,( 19 inch wheels) seats but I need to make sure it doesn't sit lower than the OEM seats. I'm also wondering about how different your 370z Sport Tech suspension differs from Base and Nismo versions
Is it worth changing a 370z’s interior from a “cubbyhole” to a tablet screen as mine doesn’t come with a tech package?
Yeah that'd be a good upgrade if you don't have the nav screen. That cubby is pretty small anyways
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Thank you for your reply! Gives me something to save up for and get done. Will look pretty good when finished 👌🏻
That 2016 Nismo looked like a Nissan gtr on the front
SHOULD I DO A 370z BUILD??
If you feel like that's something you want to tackle and enjoy! It would definitely be fun to see if you were able to film it and show the build process!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed These motor seem to be pretty solid up to 500whp with some supporting mods 🤷♂️ have an sc 400 right now planning to ls swap so itll be awhile. 370z are just such pretty cars though
Do you still have the aam short tails?
Lucas Reyes no, sold those a while ago
I have a Supercharged Brz... but i am very curious about the 370 z Nismo, and i may switch out my Subaru :)
I got a Z but all I want from the nismo is the seats and steering wheel
Well there are good aftermarket bucket seats available. Nissan will charge like $7k for these seats! But maybe someone has a set for sale
Are you looking to buy new or used?
get the nissan hands down.
Weapon X Nismo is so much more special.
Trebor S used to save money whether it's Ford or Nissan I'm going used.
how tall are you? what do you think about the space to sit inside and the head space (nismo and touring)?
I'm 5ft 11. Both cars are fine, but the standard seats I don't like at all. The base is too short for my legs. The bucket seats in the Nismo were amazing. Insanely comfortable.
Yo bro I have a 370Z base with DRLs and I want to put a Nismo bumper on it do you think the DRLs are rotatable and would fit on the Nismo bumper?
love the 370z!
perfect car!.😎
cool car!!
I wish I lived in a state that I could actually drive this car in. I live in Michigan and the weather is fucking horrid in the winter
will definetly the nismo will feel more powerful with the 3.91 FD - compared to 3.69 FD for the non-nismo.
Yeah a lot of people think the Nismo is a waste of money. But it's such a nice upgrade
Would you recommend to save up for a Nismo over the regular 370z?
Revved Speed absolutely save up for a Nismo. Well worth it!
Very good video
Thanks!
How do you feel about the Nismo being a daily driver? Too stiff and uncomfortable?
swift spec r springs will smooth it out
When do you think a new model Z will appear? I really like the nismo versions!
I think 2019 is the last year. Most Japanese cars run 10 years per model. Hope to see a twin turbo one get unveiled this year!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed but this years nismo 370 is so sexy looking hope its as good!
Is there a website where you can buy factory NISMO parts at? that would be very cool. I cant afford a NISMO either. I want one so bad but if I can find a good deal then I could fix it up like a NISMO.
A different car like a viper srt to an ACR!
Raffi Hovnanian pretty much, just a smaller scale
You pay thousands more for the Nismo but trade in value will get you thousands more when you trade it in.
Exactly. Nismo holds it's value the same so it's really just temporary holding money into it until you sell it. Absolutely loved this car!
new, I'd give Nissan their MSRP as an out the door price minus $1000
whats better a 2017 sport 370z or a 2017 nismo 370z?
Nismo all day
what you preffered a base model or a sport package? i need a lil help im thinking of getting one but undecided for borh of them
Get a sport. With the manual you will have an LSD and the big brakes
Bros FOURR Speed so it's worth the extra money from the base ?
Nismo is quicker from the hp bump up from 332 to about 350 ,but it's a small margin
so straight line performance is really not much of a difference
If it was me, I would get the sport trim since it's you get a bit more for the buck
If you want, you can even do the nismo front and rear fascia conversion to make it look like the nismo version
I'm thinking about getting the nismo I've seen a used one for 33k with like 4K miles
Nice price!
It has a higher final drive 3.92 I believe
cool video
Get the windows tinted on the nismo
That will be this summer!
What do you think of the 370z nismo vs the c6 vette? Overall performance, etc.
Zarkon vette eats it in every category except for reliability.
The vette is something
Obviously the new C7 is faster out of the box but the handling on the 370Z NISMO is truly special and definitely better. I think as far as looks its a matter of preference both cars look great.
The 370Z suspension is NOT better than the C7. Magnetic Ride is pretty much the king of OEM suspension, so much to the point that GM licenses out the technology to Porsche and other manufacturers. The Nismo is good don't get me wrong, but no where near what the C7 offers. If someone argues that then that means they never owned both or even drove both.
Go for the corvette it's a newer car, the 370 is just a slight bump from the 350 which is almost a 20 year car at this point.
man, if you get the Nismo why don't you use the 370z base model. you could upgrade by having 12k saved by not getting the nismo version. you could kill this shit easily.
put Infinity Kappa 6.5s on the doors and rear, add a 10 inch JL dw6, and bam!! Nothing better than driving a sports car with a nice system jamming out to Pantera or Metallica.
Ernest Ramirez or Taylor Swift
The Great White Hope Roger that

Nismo z is 6,448,000 million yen / base 370z is 3,950,000 million yen
You should have that fake engine sound disabled. ASC = active sound control started in 2016 and it literally puts a fake engine sound through your speakers. It sounds so fake like yours - it's a whiny sound and not the actual engine sound. Ironic because the Z has a great natural engine sound. I had a service shop use the Consult Diagnostic Tool to disable that, but left on the ANC = active noise control.
I never knew you could disable it. But once I did the exhaust, that kind of over powered the fakes noises lol
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Glad to hear that :) No offense but I'm pretty sure I could hear it on your video. It's a distinct crispy whiny fake engine sound. If you're happy then that's all that counts.
@@rollercoaster55 in this video the Nismo was bone stock. I ended up doing short tails and HFC
Same brakes , same engine , same size wheels just 1/2 inch wider..small ugly red seats. Not worth the upgrade..lol
@@CleanCarbonZ Have you driven this generation Nismo back to back with your car? As an owner of both. The Nismo was worth it. Plus they hold value better. Base Z’s keep getting cheaper to buy. My Nismo is still worth what I sold it for 6 years ago. So it would cost less to own the Nismo since it holds value. And it’s a more fun driving experience
I honestly feel he's convincing himself why it's a good reason to trade.
Just get a 370 and put racing seats and some exterior accents and bam u save alot
