Can you give more details on the build? Hitch mounted Tire Swing? Brand/Model? Rails? etc? Looking to build out my pre-order g2 this way for this exact loop (And others) next summer
Sure. Just a couple extras: -RIG’D Supply Ultraswing spare tire carrier for R1S -spare wheel found on EBay (went with the E load range Pirelli rather than the actual OEM tire since it’s a spare) -Weistec (Direct Current Engineering) sliders for R1S
@@albannaig19 Thanks! Starting to lean this setup vs putting the spare on the roof. Not exciting to think about pulling down a 80+lb wheel. Did you get the Rivian specific UltraSwing L or the normal one? also, any change you've run a bike rack off it too? Thinking about my Vertical MTB rack w/4 bikes but not sure I will come under the weight cap.
@@mattm2024 got the Rivian-specific swing. It has a shorter tongue to keep it nice and close to the rear bumper, which definitely seems advisable if you’re running a bike rack too. The weight wouldn’t be an issue but length would start to be pretty extra. Wouldn’t advise that for this kind of trail.
Hey!! That’s me at 16:24! Northern Mich>Billings>Bob Marshall>West Yellowstone>Ouray>Northern Mich. Ouray never disappoints. Sweet vid!
Wow, that's a legit loop!! Beautiful rig too.
Nice R1S! Glad to see she’s getting to enjoy some dirt and pinstripes like the off-road gods intended.
Looks like a blast, but I don't have the heart to put my R1S through that. 😅

Cybertruck is like the crazy chick at the same party that you thought was super hot, but turns out you were just drunk. Dodged that bullet!

What brand spare tire hitch do you have? Thank you
honored to be the tired bastard doing weird voices from the back seat
So cool you guys were able to do this all together 💕🥹

Great add for Rivian :D
Awesome video. What tire hitch did you use? Looking for one for my build as well.
A little ibis never hurt anybody
Should take it up near the Continental Ranch next to Rito Hondo Reservoir. Good trails up in that area.
Good video, but please learn how to stabilize the camera. WAY to shaky!

How about the running boards? Nice video!

Sometimes best laid plans are best laid aside!! haha
Awesome
At 10,000 feet 🏔️ a gas car is -30% horse power. So if it had 300Hp to the wheel at sea level, up in the mountains down to 210HP 😢.
Shakey cam of doom.
Did you need the rock sliders at all? Plan to do this trail with my R1S, but don't want to add those.
One hit on the driver side that was avoidable with the right line. Otherwise right in the fun/comfort zone for the R1S.
Please learn how to use motion stabilization. You can do it for free with davinci resolve.
Lol cute
The music in this video with the bagpipes is awful I skipped ahead as fast as I could
