Awesome thank you for sharing 😊
You’re welcome!
Really enjoyed this pattern I may make some pot holders too and then a blanket. It works up really quickly and is similar to the Suzette stitch x
Thank you! Yes it’s very similar to the Suzette stitch, which is also one of my favorites 😊🧶
I love making pot holders. Aka dish cloth. A good project to try out new stitches. OR create your own stitch. I have many.. lol
I agree, this is a great project to try out different stitches with. I do this often to get the hang of stitches or before committing to a bigger project.
Going to give this a try. I have a blanket to make and I want an easy no wrong side pattern ❤ thanks
That sounds like a great idea! Enjoy 🧶
Thank you for the tutorial. I've been watching a lot of tutorials, and most instructors comment that beginners should use stitch markers to help them. What I found worked with the Woobles videos, is they put in the stitch markers to show you where they would go. I know that seems simplistic, but I think it's helpful to see, not just hear about, all the steps that make things easier for beginners-especially at transition points. I'm often left wondering if the stitch I chained is the first stitch and I end up super confused with ends of rows and beginnings of rows. I keep trying, but I'm clearly doing things wrong in these two areas of crocheting because my rows are always uneven. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos.
You're welcome!
Amanda thank you for being a great teacher, very easy! Can you show or tell me how to create a boarder on the dishcloth. Thank you
Thank you! To make a border on a dishcloth, I usually stick with a simple single crochet border. You can see how this is done on my Suzette washcloth video.
9:11 I love this stich for dishcloths. I changed to a 4.25 hook for a tighter stich. I wanted 4.50 but couldn't find a hook that size in all my many hooks. Do they make 4.50 hooks? Just wondering.
They do, it’s called a size 7 hook. Some hook brands make them, but not all.
Pretty. Why is there a raised/bump row down the middle?
That’s probably from the dishcloth being folded.
Those are pretty……
Yes, too pretty to wash dishes with 💜🩵🩷
😊 thank you
Hi Amanda, love this pattern, I was wondering after you complete row 1 how many stitches should you have?
I believe it should be 11 cluster stitches for row 1. 😊
@@AmandaCrochets Thank you for getting back to me, for some reason I'm having a hard time getting this one right, but I'm not giving up on it yet. 🙂
@@beverlysmith1953 you’re welcome! Keep trying and you’ll get it. I do have a sedge stitch beginner tutorial on my channel if you want to check out that video too.
Anyone know how you keep your edges straight. Mine always go uneven. I'm thinking maybe it's too tight.
It’s possible you’re missing the last stitch. Remember to use stitch markers to help keep your ends even. 😊🧶
@AmandaCrochets Thank you Amanda! I will give that a try 😀
This is similar to the blanket stitch I think!
Yes very similar 🧶
I did everything according to the instruction but my 30 stitch row turned into 25 stitch row. I remade it more carefully and it is the same. wtf
It seems you're missing a stitch or two somewhere. The 2 skipped chains at the beginning of the first row will count as a single crochet. When working across, you should have a total of 28 stitches. Make sure you're skipping 2 chains in between your sedge stitch cluster. Hope that helps!
@@AmandaCrochets thank you so much for replying. I will do my best and try again. Thank you also for sharing your pattern 🙏
