    Thank you so much, Dr Agarwal! doing those two simple exercises I got my ETD fixed, never had that issue before but I was suffering plugged ears for the last 3 months, trying anything, allergy medication, different exercises. I had no allergies, or sinus infection. I couldn't get it fix. Today I saw your video and did those 2 simple exercises for few hours. It is done! Thanks so much for sharing that video

    Doctors and Practitioners must understand the We with Tinnitus and/or eustachian tube disfunction patients can't tell you during a session or after medications trial and error if our hearing has improved because at some point we get used to this nasty situation , so unless the difference is huge we unfortunately can't tell ! pray for us 😒

    you’re great doc! I’ve been suffering from ETD when I was 17 and now I’m 22. I wish doctors would’ve told me about this! It’s has caused so much pain and suffering. I’ve seen your other videos and I hope to try these exercises to see improvement

    I have the (left) Eustachian tube problem for almost a year and it is not getting better or worse. I also feel the tightness on my left side of my neck and shoulder. Will it be caused mechanically? or neck injury? Any exercise I can do to alleviate the problem? Thanks.

    I have imbalance, off and on clogged ear, sometimes ringing in my ear, facial pain, neck tightness or on top of head ... I’m going to try this. Yesterday it got so bad I lost the feeling in my arm, ER cleared me .. was not stroke or anything else. Have had this since February, they said it’s allergies and they gave me Flonase .. I don’t want to take meds

    I awoke with a muffled right ear one morning a few months ago and I had a little tinnitus for a day and then the next evening I was cleaning and bent to right side and had pulsatile tinnitus. That went away after one day as well as the regular tinnitus. Dr said saw fluid behind eardrum. I also have had dizziness and very slight balance issues off and on for a few months. Did sudafed and ibuprofen which did not help. Tried some non drowsy allergy pills and they help temporarily on occasion. When I do the Valsava pinching nose, my right ear would always pop open but close right away.
    Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, still had dizziness & went back to Dr. He used a tuning fork on forehead and asked if I heard it. I said only on the Left side. He then said well that means you have more fluid in the LEFT ear then! I said, but I thought my Eustachian Tube Dysfunction was originally in RIGHT ear?? He said yes. So who knows what is going on. I will say that I did manage to barely get the left ear to open very slightly when pushing harder with Valsalva techique but it feels so stuffed Yet dr didnt see any fluid in either ear. Any thoughts??

    Fantastic video Dr. Angarwal. Thank you for sharing, very interesting. In your best estimate, how often do auditory symptoms (other than tinnitus) originate from a mechanical problem?

    • @vikasagar9
      @vikasagar9  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      As outlined in the video, first we need to rule out medical causes. For the plugged ear symptom from eustachian tube dysfunction, mechanical cause is the most common cause in my practice.

    🌄 good Morning everyone. Generally optimism past 5 yrs with two ENTs that are dismissive on both ear pain/ fullness. 🐠

    • @1969strangelove
      @1969strangelove 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      How can two ENT be dismissive over something so real and easy to diagnose. The minute you can't do the manoeuvre (forgot the name) you can tell the tube is blocked. I tend to get worse in the evening. Not sure whether the pressure is higher than compared to first thing in the morning. Have you resolved your ETD ?
